activation of Netflix

I got the BDP-BX57 Sony Blue ray player connected and registered on Sony Online. I went to Netflix to activate the device, but after I engtered the given code and waiting so he could deal with, I got a message saying code has expired: the code you entered has expired. Please return to your TV to generate another code and try again.

I tried to get using sony but every avenue, I took with sony I had a not able to offer this service at this time. So after a few hours that I go back to get another code and try again... same results. So now what should I do to get my phone activated on Netflix. This is one of the main reasons to buy this model in particular.

PS, I did update the firmware initially before recording device.

Thank you
REB

Well, I kept by train and finally got the code to take the 5th test. I noticed the last time that the code was shorter in number of characters then the previous time. In any case, everything works fine now.

Thank you
REB

  • No subtitles NETFLIX with BDPBX18

Recently, I buy a Sony BDPBX18 and activated my NetFlix account. I also have Netflix on my Wii, but I can't get the subtitles on NetFlix, when using my layer of Blue Ray. I can with my Wii or computer. On the remote control, the button captions has no effect and there is no screen option that I can find. That is what it is?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately watching a Netflix will come not with subtitles on the BDP-BX18. Netflix has control over what devices will be able to display their titles with subtitles.

  • How to erase history without deleting the active connections?

I never used to have this problem and I have updated Firefox repeatedly but continue to have the problem. Whenever I have clear history (everything EXCEPT the active connections), get it out of my active connections. I clear the cache and cookies quite often because of my older laptop computer and constant streaming on Netflix, Hulu and TWC. Is there a way I can fix this problem?

A detail as a website to remember you (automatically log you) is stored in a cookie.

You can use these steps to make a Web site recognize and remember you:

    • Create a cookie 'allow' except to keep these cookies, in particular in the case of secure websites and when the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
    • Tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (do not remember the story; Always use the private browsing mode).

If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.

    • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and if present remove cookies.sqlite - shm and cookies.sqlite - wal in the Firefox profile folder in the cookies.sqlite case has been corrupted.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

  • Netflix movies do not play on iPad, why

I have a Netflix account. Until very recently, it played on my iPad. Account is active. Log in the works. WiFi is active. Movies just stopped playing.

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.

If still unable, disconnect you from Netflix and connect again.

If still not able to remove the Netflix app and reinstall it.

If still not able to suggest the call Netflix.

  • Netflix error Code: S7363-1260-00003266

    Thanks in advance.

I had this problem too and have been on the phone for 3 hours trying to solve their 'engineers' it.

So apparently it is caused by something taking the DRM crack that Netflix uses to check the content and on the old Mac (by 2014) because they have a different procedure DRM or the chip than the newer ones. So what has eventually occur, it was that they installed some scripts on my computer to reset several thing in safari, caches, cookies etc and we ended up basically restore safari to its state of origin, but even if it we could not lead to a determination.

So today, I live with the same question, for some reason netflix will work in Chrome but Netflix can't stand either because they Chrome Chrome active have not used high definition on this subject.

    • Things that I can perhaps resolve this for you is to enter in Safari this link 'http://netflix.com/clearcookies' this will only delete cookies from netflix and apparently others have found luck with that.
    • Try to create a new user and try if it works for you.
    • Start your computer in safe mode, what does only system files to run, or file which have been put on the computer during the installation, nothing to the user base. To do this hold down SHIFT key at startup to the top, and it should start as usual, except in red text, you should see safe mode.
    • Last resort: If your adventure feeling always take a backup of your computer and complete a new installation and if this does not work nothing do you will be able to solve this problem with ease.

I'll try to be useful to you because I am also eager to see what your findings are with this question and this sharing can also be a help to others with the same problem.

A little more about what operating system do you use on your mac? e.g. 10.11.4?

And just to clarify, you use correct safari? And if so what version?

There are a few more things we can try if the first 3 do not work, although if your keen sense to try the last one.

    See you soon

  • Netflix content error

Netflix has worked for months, but for about a week, I don't see is a content error when you try to play a movie. I can see the movie titles in the instant queue and netflix work well on all other devices in our home. Model is BRAVIA KDL-46EX710, serial No.: 8012033, software: PKG4.099AAL. Updates software automatic is activated. I looked on this site of support for a more recent update, but later I see seems to be older than I (86AAL). I appreciate all help. Thank you!

I could make it work. Don't know which is fixed or if it was a combination of the two. But what I ended up doing is, I went to settings, network, refresh Internet Content. Who has not fixed it. But I have turned off, then turn off the power switch on the TV. Save power and now its work. The Netflix menu is different now, but in a much better way. And it plays movies without any problem.

I hope it works for you.

  • Netflix installed, application not available at this time?

    Hello

I got netflix in my media center. I recently did a netflix account and decided to use it. I have activated netflix in WMC and downloaded silverlight. WMC then restarted and I click on netflix and it gives me a "loading". After a few seconds, he says "application error, try again later". I re-opened several times and get the same thing.

I have a HP pavilion with windows vista. I can watch netflix fine of my web browser, but I would do in WMC

Alternatively, you can try to uninstall and reinstall Silverlight.

  • EA3500 connection with netflix/google problem

Hello, I have a weird problem with my router. I can't connect to / have extremely slow access to netflix and Google (all sites of Google, Gmail, YouTube, etc.) using my android phone/Tablet and win 10 desktop. Netflix and Google works great wirelessly with my ps4. On my Xbox which is wired netflix works but YouTube app is very slow. I thought it was my ISP but they ran the diags and advised the service was very good and it could be my router. I reset my router and reinstalled the latest firmware and only these devices mentioned above still can connect to these specific sites. Linksys troubleshooting-made it so without solution. I have had this router for about 3 months without these problems. Help please. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thank you very much! It worked! Never that. Out of curiosity why seen active IPv6 prevents my devices to connect to these sites? I need it enabled again in the future. Thanks again!
