  I'm an Active Directory server virtualization project manager. Currently, they are all physical, and my approach is to build virtual computers costs running 64-bit Windows 2003 R2 with sufficient storage space and disk. The actual creation of the VM is not a problem. But what is a problem for our security people and AD ops team is to protect the vmdk and associated files.

  The current VSI (Virtual Server Infrastructure) has each computer virtual using a LUN for the OS disk (c :)) drive and another logic unit number for the Page file/temp files.) Data files are also placed on a separate logical unit number. Now, the question arises since all virtual machines for a single blade (host ESX, BL685 HP) server are placed on the same logical unit number, there will be a mixture of files of the type of server (apps, SQLs, ads, etc.) in the data store. This means that C readers for all the virtual machines on this blade are running under the same security policy.

  If lock us the data store for the people of AD and other approved people, then the people to support normal ops (in another country) do not receive access to files. Only the AD team has right of ads and domain controllers, so I will try to reproduce this security model.

  So my idea is to have specific data only for ads stores; provide one for the C: drive (SysVol, etc.) and the other for Page files. Then I can lock these and let others to their current level of security.

  Does this sound logical? Feasible? Prefferable?

  That others make about it? Or is it overkill?

  My guess is that only the AD team would never start/stop/etc a virtual machine, then maybe that's possible.

  You can create a custom role on your permission vcenter and delegete for some users, who will not have access to certain virtual machines!

I was able to put my dial-up connection set and get online but could not access windows update date or microwsoft. so I upgraded to ie8 {I had IE 5 after the re install} some how he forced me to update and I could upgrade to sp 2 now when I try the sp3, that he will not evenstart for download. the bar is located right at 0% .i have since stopzilla uninstalled because someone told me that he could be ruining the download. so I really need to get the essential security elements. also I tried to download a care scanner and got through the part that you defragment your system and did.but when I tried to use the analysis of the protection she would be only 50% done and who was I got the error code.

  I uninstalled, now I can't seem to find a way to reinstall it.

  Either way, it was the evaluation version of the security of the software that came with it since I bought it just 3 days ago. So I have all the disks for the software.

  My computer, one almost four years, Dell Inspiron 1454 with Windows XP Pro, continues to freeze when left to sit for a few minutes. Also, I discovered that when I run the Microsoft Security Essentials quick or full scan analyzing stops on the file HP Digital Imaging mentioned above several times.  I was wondering if this means something on the reason why the computer freezes up. Also, Windows Live Mail continually lets me know that it is "not responding." Yet once, I guess it's because of the freezing problem not Windows Live Mail is the cause. I use the computer during a run without problem, but if I have a cup of coffee, for example, I have to restart when I return. Sometimes, the slider moves, sometimes not, but no matter the computer is unresponsive after that I took a break or just out of the blue when I try to open an e-mail or another task. I guess it's time for a Mac, but I thought I'd see if anyone has some ideas on how to solve this problem. Thank you!

  This problem is probably due to an outdated HP Digital Imaging monitor. Even if you decided to switch to a Mac, the question may still popup because you have installed hpqthb08.exe.

  Fortunately, there is an update that you can apply.

• Page navigation does not not having activated the ADF security

  Hi all

  I am facing a strange problem. I have 3 pages namely Login.jspx,.jspx Upload and summary.jspx. Untied task flow (adfc-config. (XML), I created the navigation as Login-> Upload-> summary. There is also a back navigation to download-> login page. The user enters the user id and password on the login screen and click on the "submit" button. If the credentials are correct then control flows to the download page. On page load user selects an excel file and click on the download button and the control moves to the summary screen. There is a button more called out on the download screen, which directs the user to the login screen. The navigation works perfectly well if ADF security is disabled. The time where security is enabled, the navigation fails. I used below link to implement security where it is created a java class to manage the authentication of users and move to the next page. On activation of security, I am only able to navigate from screen to connect to the loading screen. After the failure of this navigation. He won't go to the summary page, or it goes back to the login page. Just on the loading screen. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3.0

  Problem solved. In the java file authentication, I had put under instruction to navigate to the Page of Upload

  LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? success_url = / faces/Upload.jspx«;»

  I found below old son that says to remove .jspx of the URL and it worked.

  Navigation of the page using adf-config does not

• Loss of connection network several times a day while actively using internet. Will not stop after that.

  I read a lot of posts on the Vista network connections problems when changing modes of consumption, or when the wireless adapter is inactive. None of them apply to me because I lose my network connection when I have my laptop plugged in and I'm actively using the internet (for example, watch movies online). After trying "diagnose and repair" options, nothing seems to work. The only way I found to get internet again is to restart my computer. What makes it still more difficult, is that after that happens, my computer doesn't shut down normally. It freezes at the blue screen that says "shutting down". Whenever this problem with the network connection happens I am forced to make a difficult start (hold the power button until the power is off) if I want to use the internet again. It's only happened for about a month, and it's happened before and after that I installed Service Pack 2. I don't remember installing any software a month ago with the exception of Windows updates that I can't uninstall (the button uninstall is hidden for some updates). Any help I can get would be much appreciated because it is very frustrating to have hard to start my laptop several times a day in order to continue to work on this.

  I regret that no one answered earlier.

  Since you don't have physical access to the router, this will make the diagnosis very difficult.  And, given that this problem is intermittent, once again, very hard to track down what is causing the problem.  You can very well just to lose the intensity of the signal.

  I mentioned the switch on the laptop because if anything goes wrong, who "could" cause this problem, and given that the laptop is no longer under warranty, you will not be able to have your factory repair it (for free of course).

  I don't see what other suggestions from the Forum can give you.  Once again, with this problem being sparadic (intermittent) and since you share Internet access with someone else and do not have physical access to the router for troubleshooting purposes, my hands are basically related...

• Activation of advanced security kills CF Instance

  I've got CFMX 7.01 installed as an installation multiserver on Windows 2003 running IIS 6. Everything working fine until I have enable Coldfusion security sandbox. After restarting the service (which seems to it starts very well), I lose the CF admin pages this instance and all the sites in this proceeding. All I get is "cannot display the page. All other instances are not affected.
  In order to recover all for this instance, I must modify the neo - security.xml and disable the security sandbox. After that everything is fine.
  I added the jvm arguments in the file following, as described in the documentation, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really need enable sandbox security.

  It was unstructured correctly JVM arguments. All is well again.
