  Hi, I have problems activating studio mx... bought in 2003 and very well used but my cell phone is broken and I am trying to install on a new. The codes are accepted ok but I cannot activate.

  I have been informed by the people of chat to post here because this product is too old so that they treat. I know it is an old product, but I use it all the time and desperate to make it work. Any help appreciated.

• Problem activating Macromedia Studio MX 2004

  Can someone tell me how to turn on Studio MX 2004? I've had this software for years and now I have a new computer and I need to continue to use it. I realize that it is old software, but it meets my needs and I have no interest in more bells and whistles and learning of newer versions. Support (chat and telephone) were no help at all - I guess that's because the software is earlier than Adobe's Macromedia acquisition. There must be a way to continue to use the software that I bought? (Which incidentally does not on Windows 7).

• Is it possible to import BAM Studio active States?

  I exported (saved as) an active BAM Studio report as an .mht file. Now I am looking for a possibility to import this report on another server. There seems to be no way to import it directly. Even on the file system is no folder where it can be placed. I thought that BAM active Studio can recognize it and import it automatically.

  I'm not familiar with the .mht file. BUT any substance like BAM BAM reports, data (single or all) objects can be exported and imported using a command called icommand. I continue export of an Env as Dev or QC and import into Production. Here is the link for more details.

• Misfortune FreeHand MX activation

  I have Freehand MX Suite Studio MX2004, I bought a few years back. Since then, I have upgraded to Studio 8 and now, once again for CS 3 (which is awesome).
  
  I do not normally use Freehand and I used to use it on my PC, but I cross for Mac (Studio 8 and MX2004 worked on both). Now I can install the Freehand drawing software, but when I try to activate it with the serial number I said "too many Activations" and a number to call to Macromedia. This number's automated system passes through an Adobe, but there seems to be no way to talk to a human being of this problem?
  
  Very frustrated, especially since I paid for this software and I should be allowed to use it.

  No it does not disable it. Just like Windows XP and Vista and Adobe
  Photoshop and Illustrator you literally need to inform Microsoft/Adobe
  not only this made you buy and install but what computer you have installed
  Turn it on and what are the specs of that computer. If you are online then
  all this is happening pretty much without your knowledge, but there
  is happening. So unless specifically, you tell them that you are

• Tables of collage in numbers on Mac

  For the last six months I saved to upgrade my version of Windows under license from Studio MX2004 because Adobe won't give me a crossgrade now that I'm on Mac. Under Windows, I could easily copy a selection to an Excel spreadsheet and paste it into Dreamweaver, this was a weekly task I was doing and saved me a lot of time.
  
  I just installed a trial of the latest Dreamweaver hoping to copy a selection to a Numbers spreadsheet, and I found that this apparently much more advanced version can be any better than a standard bog free text editor. I saved about 30 minutes each week from now using Dreamweaver MX2004, now I have to type in each cell of the table of each cell in a week at a time.
  
  If anyone knows how to paste into a table, can you let me know?
  
  I hope that the only option is not to have to spend hundreds of pounds buy Microsoft Office 2008 that I can't otherwise.

  Try this - open the excel worksheet.
  do a "Save as" filetype = CSV

  in dw, click where you want the table.
  DW menu-> file-> import-> data table

• problems of .htaccess in DW MX2004 OSX 2.8 vs DW Studio 8 on XP

  Good guy, someone has questions where they cannot get to the server to accept the .htaccess file when using MX 2004 on a Mac?
  
  On my old skool G3 at home, it seems that DW a check or place the .htaccess file, but in fact he isn't here because - DUH! the server behavior has not changed after download.
  When I discovered on my computer running Studio 8 to work I can mod the file and check it in no problem.
  So I have to do it from XP that makes me cringe. Maybe if I jump to OSX3 or OSX4, it won't happen.
  
  During this operation in MX2004 on OSX2.8, I noticed that if you try to save the file in texteditor or even in DW it doesn't let you. Probably due to the * nix - based OSX like not just the file darn play with his. DS_store or something else...
  SAVE is grayed out - and not an option.
  
  any ideas? all the extensions that can solve this problem? Maybe, I need to buy Studio 8?

  OK got an update. Since I'm a happy Dreamhoster, we have what is called the HTACCESS/WEBDAV on the PC area which referred you to one. I thought that it was mainly to define directories protected by Word, but I think you can do the basic htaccess since CP commands (have not tried yet, don't want F everything already works very well)

  So I'll tell you it's the answer for my problem... this AND using the XP to manage the htaccess file (confound) doing... until that I have upgraded either my OSX or simply buy a new Mac.

  2. I can see the assets of Site Studio Site
  3. I press the button refresh and Site assets disappear
  
  I am logged in as sysadmin
  I set the security to the public group
  I tried with different elements of Site
  
  Someone at - it never have a similar problem? Anyone know where the information is stored (which assets belong to a website)? I did exactly as if it were in the documentation.
  
  The funny thing is. The documentation tells me to press the button refresh, if the assets of the Site do not appear.

  looks like your Site Id? You shouldn't put a '-' or '_' sign in the website ID. The best thing is, if you only use the letters a - z.

  It seems that JDK 1.6.0_18 breaks BAM (and possibly other products like Webcenter).

  As a solution, use JDK 1.6.0_14, which we have confirmed the problem on an already broken system that had JDK 1.6.0_18.

• I have the old Macromedia Dreamweaver, need to activation code.

  I have Macromedia Dreamweaver MX2004, actually purchased the Macromedia Studio version in 2005. I have not used the programs at least seven years.  I reinstalled today to help my new company with their web site.  I need an activation code for him after installation, or I have 30 days to use both.  I guess because it's the old version, it is not supported to get the activation via the old system of screen as it says unable to connect to the Internet.  I tried a conversation with the service the customer, but they suggested I visit the forums to get help.
