Toshiba E-Studio printer - want to manage user impression in HIGH-LEVEL

Hello

I have several Toshiba E-Studio printers and I want to manage user impression in HIGH-LEVEL (my users are in Active Directory in Windows 2003)

I tried but I can not connect department code with users of the AD and I keep getting my printed documents as invalid.
I hope someone here will know how to solve this problem

Thank you

I have fear of m in this forum you will not find the printer experts.
Most of the users here in this community are common for laptop / tablet or multimedia enthusiasts.

But I found this page of Toshiba's interactive training manuals.
http://business.Toshiba.com/USA/support/training/index.html
These tutorials can help you learn how to perform various functions to your device e-STUDIO user

It might be useful for you.

  • Does not print without the rights of administrator - Toshiba e-studio 2

    Excuse for my English.

A question: does not print without administrator rights.
I do not know is that a problem?

As it is possible to allow for the press with the rights of the user.

    Toshiba e-studio 206

    Hello

You intervene on the Toshiba printer

According to your message, the printer does not and doesn't print because the user does not have authorization right.

You can change try to assign the admin right to the user account.
You can also try to assign only a right to the user account.
In this case go to-> printer & faxes Control Panel
Choose the printer-> right click-> properties-> tab security

There you can assign printer preferences

    Welcome them

  • Toshiba e-Studio 3040c continues printing from other sources

    Hello together

In our society, we have a Toshiba E-Studio 3040c next to other printers.

It prints and basically works well, but we have the issue that if a source document is empty, it continues printing from other sources, even if there is another paper out there.

The only point in the Web interface with: "Change the paper source automatically" is set to NO then it theoretically it should continue printing.

Any suggestions I can try next?

    Thank you for your adived

    Hello world
I have a very strange problem ever happen before... I use Win 7 and I have toshiba e studio 351 in my local network with other computers, until a few days ago, I was using eStudio-451 drivers and work perfectly for 1 year. A few days ago it stop printing, quite strange because:

    -the works of Copier
    -works to scan
-J' use a static local IP address and I ping, all packed went well
-tcp/ip active and all the other stuff, everything is OK
-I can access the printer by IP address in any browser and change the settings
-drivers installed/uninst etc seems to be OK in my PC

Windows displays printing OK, the document "printing" to disappear, it's as if the printer eat. No jobs are showing in the job_status the printer...

  • Toshiba e-Studio 167: printing documents ODT LibreOffice 4 Linux problem

    Hello

I'm trying to solve a problem when I try to print some documents ODT of LibreOffice 4 (13.04 Ubuntu operating system) on a Toshiba e-Studio 167 printer.

I have not received any response from my service technical so I hope someone can help me here.

When the document contains fonts as liberation, liberation Serif, etc., I get a printed page with the following error:

    ERROR:
    invalidfont
    THE OFFENDING COMMAND
    $definefont
    BATTERY:
    --nostringval--
    WASRNP + LiberationSerif
    --nostringval--
    WASRNP + LiberationSerif
    --nostringval--
    --nostringval--
    17

However, if export ODT file in PDF format and print PDF files or if I print another PDF Acrobat file, it is not a problem. It works too, if I print a document Word (doc) opened to LibreOffice (usually with a Times New Roman font); in this case, LibreOffice indicates that the document has Times New Roman font, although it is not installed on the system, at least I can't see fonts in the drop-down list. In these cases, that the document prints well, but the new ODT documents with fonts system fail, what happens?

If I print in a local printer (HP Laserjet 1020), he has no problem with any document.

I tried to apply the solution given in the son, but if I change the type of PostScript printer language, I get the same error:
    https://AskUbuntu.com/questions/69014/unable-to-print-from-LibreOffice
    https://AskUbuntu.com/questions/68909/problem-printing-in-LibreOffice-writer-but-not-in-Adobe-Acrobat-Reader-or-Evolut

This is how I installed the printer driver:

    https://localhost:631
    Administration-> "Add printer".
The wizard has automatically detected the network printer: Toshiba e-Studio 167 Foomatic / Postscript (en)

This site says that the printer works under linux:
    https://www.OpenPrinting.org/printer/Toshiba/Toshiba-e-Studio_167

    Any help would be apreciated.

    Thanks in advance

  • Toshiba e-studio 206 does not print USB cable

Hello! We have Toshiba e studio 206 which is installed with the usb cable.
Official drivers for e-studio 206 granted official website (here and later - a Russian) had been installed without error, the device shows any errors as well and can be used as a copier or even scan via the usb cable.
But when I try to print at least a test page - an error in the spooler window.

Install the drivers, the printer as a COM-device. I read on the official website that this is normal.

If Windows 7 (32 bit) - in the window 'Printers and devices' there is the printer itself AND a strange unknown device called TOSHIBA e Studio 206 (COM3).
On Windows XP, it is all of the same except there is not that strange device.

I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, but given that this thing is a copier at the top (or so I think...) ...

P.S:I tried using different USB cable - no effect. I guess, I'll try another while you wait for your kind answerrs... Thank you!

    Hello

Have you installed other printers or drivers next to Toshiba e-studio? If Yes please try to remove them and test it again.

In addition, I would recommend to reinstall the drivers for the e-studio again. Delete the current version and restart the computer. Then install the latest version you can find on the page of Toshiba.

  • How to run the Manager user interface programmatically

I am looking for a method to run programmatically (from Labview), the Manager user interface, and then to connect it.

Is there an API from .net to who?

    Thank you

Note: I developed for earlier versions of VeriStand, a high-level application that manages projects of test benches and their versions. I want to update with the new manager of the user VeriStand interface.

It is not a .NET API to control UI Manager, but there are some command line utilities, you can use to launch the user interface Manager, open a specific project, specify the IP address of the gateway to use and connect automatically.

Try the following command line arguments:

    /nivsprj 'c:\project.nivsprj' Gateway localhost / connect

They are documented in the online profile of Stimulus help editor.
