Activity app kilojoules to calories

Hi all

I'm trying to set my activity to track my activity in calories rather than in kilojoules.

I changed the setting with success in the application of the workout, but do not follow these settings in the application of the activity.

My daily activity is always saved as kilojoules rather calories

Help, please!

HI - try the following steps:

On your iPhone, in health app (red heart on a white background), go to: health information > energy Active > unit > if it is not already set to calories (after your changes in the application of the workout), you can change it now.

-Restart your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off (wait until it finishes). Press and hold down the side button until you see the Apple logo.

The application of activity on your watch should show now also the calories.

  • Activity app appears

I associated with my new Apple Watch (watch OS 2.1) my iPhone (iOS 9.2) 6s, but I don't have the activity app on my iPhone!

    has tried:

    -restart the phone

    -Once again pairing

does not work, someone help please.

    Hi Joe

Before trying the solutions in my next answer, first try:

On your iPhone close apps open (including the app shows):

-Double-click the Home button, and then drag upward on each of the app previews to close.

Then, restart your iPhone and your watch. Turn on both devices off the power together first, and then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

If it does not immediately resolve the problem, try disconnecting and re-matching your watch once, ask your watch in a new watch instead of restore from backup:

    - Pairing your Apple Watch and Support Apple - iPhone

    - Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Try allowing 24 to 48 hours after you set up the application of the activity on your watch before checking the application of the activity again on your iPhone.

  • Apple Watch activity App

My wife is a new user and today after 10 minutes to workout on an exercise bike (bike inside) I forgot to get out, and it was 3 hours 16 minutes before it was turned off.

As a result he has recorded 3335 active kilojoules instead of about 210.

Is anyway to remove this workout, or at least change?

Also is it possible to be able to view a summary of the different activities over a longer period, as the 12 months (or almost) that I used my watch? Can I get this from Pacer but how do I get shows?

Both watches are running the latest version of the software.

    Hi John

It is not possible to edit training via the application in activity or training quarter of your wife.

Health and fitness of the Apple Watch data, iPhone and all the other sources are rather grouped and managed through the health app on his iPhone matched.

    To remove the workout:

-On the iPhone of your wife, in the application of health (icon: red heart on a white background), go to: data on health (tab) > Fitness > training > view all data > swipe to the left on a workout, and then press the trash / remove.

  • Activity app seems to remove the moving activity

For 3 days in a row, I went to bed with all the 3 circles completed in my application of activity, to wake up to the top to find the purpose of move has been missed. I checked the application of health and no activity has been deleted, thankfully. Can someone help me to debug why my app activity is apparently the suppression of progress from one day to the next?

Last night, I took a screenshot at 11:51 (showing 556/480 calories) to Jan. 2. This morning, I took another screenshot at 08:01 (showing 273/480 calories) to Jan. 2.

I'm also using Runkeeper for iOS versus 6.4 for training during the day, but as you can see the work data (and information move/calorie are remained intact in the application of the activity):

  • Can manually adjust you the activity app information?

If you do a workout on an app that is not supported by the applications of activity, can manually update you active calories for the workout in the application of the activity?

If so, should it be done the day of the training session, or can update you beyond the activity?

    Hi Joel

It is not currently possible to update the activity manually (on your watch or your iPhone) app.

However, the workout data can be added manually to the health on your iPhone app. The health app aggregates data fitness and health of Apple Watch, iPhone and all other sources (for example, blood pressure monitor, scales, etc.), with the combination of the data recorded in the application of health (customizable) dashboard.

To add workouts to the health app:

-On your iPhone, in the application of health, go to: data on health (tab) > Fitness > training > add a data Point > select an activity type and add your data, including the latest dates.

If you prefer to be able to add workouts to the application of the activity, you can let Apple know here:

    Hello

    The following steps may help:

    • Both users: make sure that your watch is connected to the iPhone paired via Bluetooth, while the iPhone is also connected to the Internet through cellular data or Wi - Fi.
    • Leave a little time then for the activity to share data (perhaps leave an hour or two).

Otherwise, it may help if cancel you the pairing of each and re-pair your watches, leaving once again time for data to be shared:
