Adapter Belkin Bluetooth for V715w printer

It was my understanding that installation of the bluetooth adapter allow me to print from my iPad 2.  "I installed the portable printer Dell app and the bluetooth adapter and I get selected check device"printer error"and try again ' and it still won't print. What I am doing wrong?

Thank you

Karen

Karen,

I have a V715w printer and just got an iPhone, so I tried actually different things. If you use an application like Team Viewer, send it to a computer on your network, then Team Viewer allows to print the document from the computer. If you're really there, I would sooner just to use the computer.

Take care

My printer works via bluetooth using a dongle bluetooth for the printer and another computer bluetooth dongle. It was very well under windows vista.

Upgrade Windows 10, HP says no windows 10 for dongles which are product HP BT450 driver.

However the dongle at the end of the computer has installed and driver update says best drivers installed but I get device not yet started in the device at the end of the computer Manager, with the code 10.

(note - the printer itself has installed fine for the USB cable with 10 windows, but it is designed to allow the USB cable to be removed and replaced with bluetooth by inserting the dongle so expected HP to provide a bluetooth solution as they provided for the printer HP used on windows 10).

    Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply but I know all this and said so in my post.

Is the windows compatibillty 10 says this printer is very well under windows 10 and it installed ok under usb cable 10, download the correct drivers and software HP Windows. So must be always work via bt dongles and HP says nothing about this function is lost.

I bought this model because of the bluetooth feature not because of connectivity USB cable you could get on any printer... If the bluetooth feature was to be lost under windows 10 that should have been included in the compatibility list as it is / was a little important features. Maybe HP could indicate if bluetooth is interrupted, so others assume they can always use this pinter.

I have now managed to install the printer using the computer, rather than the adapter BT450 bluetooth to connect to the printer. It is interesting that the BT450 adapter in the printer works perfectly! This is for the very old kit! This thread can be closed.

  • New print head for V715w?

Anyway is to buy a new printhead for Dell's Dell V715w printer (or someone else)? The current print head is therefore nothing good, I have about $ 150 of ink on the spot and I would use it.  I can't believe that Dell does not place a small piece of plastic/silicone and expects me to just buy a new printer.

    -Aurélie

    Aurélie,

We found that the price of a print head is the price of a new printer. If the printer is under warranty, contact Dell.

There is a print server in the printer, but it's probably only for the RJ45. I mean that it won't work with a usb wireless adapter because there is nothing to assign an IP address. The only option is a wireless print server.

After spending an obscene amount of time researching this Bluetooth stupid nonsense this week, I finally opted for a solution.

This is how to solve the "Bluetooth peripheral device is not a driver:
I use the following materials in a dozen different tests:
-Only for Broadcom based on USB from Belkin and Targus dongles
-Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on four different computers
-4 different Bluetooth headphones: Plantronics One, a matrix and two Motorola
-Bluetooth file transfer wasn't of interest, but I tested with two different phones
This guide will be useful for those with similar... hardware configurations and for those who have tried all the other nonsense without result.  Especially that many times repeated "Just install Windows Mobile Device Manager."
    -- -- --
Step 1: Ignore 99% of you think that you have learned about this problem.
It will be * probably * boil down to a missing COM port.
Step 2: Certainly ignore the bit about installing the Windows Mobile Device Center
(Unless you have a Windows Mobile-based phone and/or have another use for a flavor of Windows 7 of Activesync).
Step 3: Stop looking for a driver for something called a "Bluetooth device device.
There is no such thing. If you look at the Bluetooth installation take place, you will notice that all the components of the Bluetooth technology initially as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" and then once Windows ID each element, the appropriate driver is installed and the name replaces "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" to something like "Hands-free Bluetooth Audio" or "Bluetooth Remote Control" etc.
    -- -- --
Unfortunately, most of the people reading this will have tried one or more of the following:
1.) install this stupid Windows Mobile Device Center
2.) install any number of drivers Bluetooth who-knows-what from who knows where
(3.) running all kinds of utilities third driver
4.), forcing several facilities from pilot to operate in Win98, XP or Vista
    5.) sacrificing countless animals
The end result is a plethora of useless software and/or driver and/or updates... facilities and some dead animals.
    -- -- --
Instead, here is the solution.  I tested it with three different USB Dongles (2 Belkin and Targus 1) and on four different machines: HP, Sony, Toshiba and another HP. Two were newly not framed with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and two have been upgraded to Vista to the same OS.
With each machine, I plugged the following helmets: a legend of Voyager from Plantronics, Motorola S9, Motorola S805 and matrix AF62 and a Samsung S3 and an HTC Android.
So I guess it's fair to say that it is a solution for one of these dongles... but in reality, most based on Broadcomm USB dongles is affected. I ran across these stages in four different boxes after checking that the beast ""Bluetooth peripheral device is not a driver " "
    appeared during installation.
1.) If you did any of the unsuccessful steps mentioned above, enter the control panel and delete everything that you have installed.  Kill all the entries Broadcomm or Widcomm bluetooth. Delete all 3 rd-party driver maintenance apps. Restart a machine clean.
2.) locate and install a Broadcomm 6.0.1.6300 OR 6.2.1.500 driver.  Either one works, but the last (most recent) has much better management tools for Bluetooth device
.  I tested the installation of separately and also starting with 6.0.1.6300 and then upgrade to 6.2.1.500.
(Ignore the stupid Updater Driver Broadcomm they grow to their website - it is useless for the majority of us out there.)
(3.) that you install one of the above, you will see a notification regarding the installation of the various components.  Click this pop-up window and watch the progress.  You will see that each "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" Gets a new name, as the related driver is installed.  In my tens + tests, each & every item at this point got the green check mark of success.
4.) now attempt to pair the device of your choice
.  IF only the manufacturer provides separate drivers, do not install them again, regardless of their instructions.  See how Windows gets its own.
5.) as soon as the match starts, you will see more notifications for individual driver components.  Click on one of them and observe a similar progression... Except that you will have a ""Bluetooth Device device ' with the dreaded Red X and the complaint that no driver was found. "
    6.) do not despair
! This happens the first time connect you a new Bluetooth device.
7.) wait for the installation to complete.  Despite the dialog box display the list of components of Bluetooth with a red X, you probably have another window saying that the perfectly paired Bluetooth device.  But you and I know that he didn't. Confidently click to close this dialog box.
8.) open Device Manager (via the Control Panel, the computer properties), and you will discover that cursed Device Bluetooth that is sitting there in the Middle under 'other devices '.
9.) right click on the Bluetooth device with the yellow exclamation mark under 'Other devices' and select 'Update Driver' - then:
    Click on:
a.) browse my computer for driver software
    (b) let me pick from a list of device on my computer drivers
(c.) in the common hardware types list, select:
    --->>> Ports (COM & LPT)<>
d.) d.) under manufacturer, select Microsoft
e.) depending on the model, choose "Standard Serial over Bluetooth Link" & click "next".
f.) when you are prompted with the update driver warning, click 'yes '.
g.) with joy to read the message that "Windows has updated the driver software.
(h.) read for pleasure, and then click "close".
(i.) to confirm that this disorder is really fixed (assuming compatible devices, etc.) Right-click on the Bluetooth device and choose "Troubleshoot" - that there should be no reported problem.
10.) you shouldn't have to restart, but you POURRIEZ have need spend the power of your Bluetooth device Off & turn it on again to let it reconnect again (just NOT re-pair... re - connect). About a dozen tests, I had only to do once, and it was with a 3-year-old-Bluetooth headset.
    -- -- --
I have argued my way in the solution by installing on a Vista machine where everything worked perfectly.  After the installation of various devices under Vista, I spotted the COM Port in Device Manager - which was the only element that did not appear in the installation of Windows 7... but instead remained at the dreaded 'Bluetooth Device device".
Windows Mobile thing worked only for some people because it was fundamentally address a bunch of different physical possibilities... but for those who did not have success, it's because Windows Mobile Kitchen Sink approach did not include the driver Port com

Voluntarily, I don't understand not all links to the drivers as one.) change links and b.) I don't want to be responsible for some knucklehead packaging site a Trojan horse in the zip file.  Let Google your friend and your instinct be your guide.
I will say that I used a 6.0.1.6300 directly from the Belkin site and a 6.2.1.500 directly from the site of the bridge.
I hope this saves people a lot of frustration.

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator attempts to install bad devices Bluetooth for CSR8510 A10

This question applies to all the Bluetooth adapters that are based on the chipset CSR8510 A10 (for example Sitecom CN-524).

On different machines, I'll have a different behavior as a result of the installation of the drivers for this adapter. For example, a laptop Lenovo X 240 will install fine and a Lenovo T430s will NOT install fine. The two machines are running Windows7 64 bit.

It is not an option to install the drivers that came with the dongle, because they are based on the suite of harmony of CSR, which prevents battery Microsoft Bluetooth to use. That is what I want, and it has been shown to work.

When you connect the adapter, Windows will try to install a generic Bluetooth Radio driver, which is fine.

I was able to isolate the problem to the driver Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator is also automatically installed:

-On the machine that fails to install correctly, this driver will attempt to install 3 devices (NICs): one for the hands-free Bluetooth Audio, one for Bluetooth L2CAP Interface and one for Bluetooth Remote Control. These drivers do not start (error code 10), who should expect that these drivers are not attempted to be installed on the computer that works very well.

-On the machine that the adapter is installed correctly, these devices do not appear. Instead, the pilots appear to Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth Server.

I struggle to understand why there is a difference in behavior between the two computers and I would appreciate some tips that will help me to make the failed computer try NOT to install these faulty drivers!

    Thank you!

For anyone else who might come across this: I managed to solve the problem.

The problem seems to be that on some computers, the 'utility WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software' is installed. This software utility may be marked specifically for the manufacturer of your computer, for example, in my case, it was called "Thinkvantage Bluetooth Software".

Disabling the adapter embedded Bluetooth does not remove completely all network adapter drivers that are associated with this piece of hardware: the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software utility adds a few network cards.

When you then use an adapter Bluetooth from another provider, driver installation may fail when the chipset you are installing is not compatible with these network belonging to a different chipset drivers.

I realize the use cases this is not very typical, but it's very confusing when it happens!

In order to solve the problem, make sure that you uninstall any Bluetooth software from other providers before you install the drivers for your new Bluetooth adapter.

    Thank you!

Hello thewheel.  I understand that you want your phone bluetooth to your printer and use it to send faxes.

Unfortunately, because of how fax machines work, it will not be possible.  Fax machines work by talking to other devices using the "tones" the phone creates when you press a button/perform action.  Your phone does not have these tones to communicate and thus, does not use them.  This means that your mobile phone and Fax cannot communicate as appropriate to perform this action.

However, there are services that allow you to send digitally faxes by internet.  Is not the same thing as what you asked, but it is a possibility, in that you can watch.  There are many of these applications then take a look at these Google search results and see if any of them will meet your needs.

Let me know if you have any questions.  I wish you a nice day!

  • Bluetooth for OfficeJet 150 connections by multiple computers at the same time

I have connected the first computer to the printer with a bluetooth card adapter.  I'm trying to implement the second printer with an adapter TrendNet bluetooth (TBW-107UB).  TrendNet UI shows the printer, but I can't seem to print on it.  HP Toolbox can not talk about the printer (the second computer, the first is having no problem).

Do not know if my problem is the adapter Trendnet or try to connect to the printer via two computers currently.

Took me a while, but I now (or at least had) this work.  Two computers AND a smart phone, capable of printing to the HP150.  I send a file from computer A, and then the computer B, that has even once, then the smartphone, then B, then A.

I think the original problem was the proprietary software that I installed (and subsequently uninstalled) which would not allow the 2nd computer to communicate with the printer.

All sorts of "weird" things are come with bluetooth, but it probably everything will become clear once I got bluetooth.  I don't know I'm having problems when I disconnect and then reinsert the bluetooth dongles, turn off, then turn it on computers, or whateever.

BUT I know that I can print from computers, as I can at any other network printer (or shared).

  • Connect the new iPad Pro for USB printer

Do I need a special cable or a Hub to connect these 2 elements.

You cannot connect via USB to your iPad, it will not be recognized. Is the printer compatible wifi?

If the printer supports AirPrint, you can use your wifi network to print on it: on AirPrint - Apple Support

If it isn't, some printer manufacturers have their own applications in the App Store to print their via wifi, or there are third party printer applications in the App Store that could work with him.

If the printer is not compatible wifi, you could (I have not tried) able to connect it to a computer and print to it via who (for example print via an app on the iPad that sends the print job to/through the computer)

  • Printer: Where can I get the latest driver for my printer

    Hey everybody,

Just got a new PC and I need the latest version of the software for my printer printer, where can I get that?

    Thank you

    Bill

    Hello

If you have an HP LaserJet printer, go to http://www.123.hp.com/Laserjet and download your software.

For most other printers HP, go to http://123.hp.com and enter the name of your printer. For example: "HP Deskjet 3752" or "HP OfficeJet Pro 8720".

    * Do not look on the Internet for the web site of HP 123! There are many other sites not HP here try to capitalize on the name of HP. HP provides your free software... Use the links above!

If for any reason, the 123 links do not work, you can visit the HP support site and download the software:

    1. Go to hp.com/drivers and select your language / local if necessary.
    2. Enter the name of your printer in the box under enter my HP model number.
    3. If a page appears asking you to select your exact model of the printer, select the link for your printer.
    4. On the page of software results, change the operating system to match the one you need (number 1 below)... he could already be selected.
If an operating system is not listed, HP doesn't have any software available for your printer.
    5. Select installation software label to expand the section, if it is not already expanded, and read the name of the software (number 2).
For Windows, if you want the complete package for your printer, you will want to download the software "Full Feature". For LaserJet, it will be called drivers and software "full." The complete package is much bigger in file size and takes up more resources, but she understands as a window of easy-to-use do things such as sweeping or check the ink and toner levels.
    6. For Windows, HP provides often a base driver package (Figure 3).
The basic package is much smaller and is often available for several versions of Windows as a full package of features. With it, you use Windows to print and scan directly from the software you use, such as Word, Paint, photoshop, etc...
    7. Click on the download button to start the download (number 4).
    8. Read and respond to the screens that pop up to install your software.

    I hope this helps
