• Add more dynamic events registration refnum

  I have a wire that passes Event Registration refnum to my structure of the event. This thread is from VI, that I don't want to touch. He spent recording for the cluster of user events.

  I would add more dynamic events to the refnum (but not to the cluster), so I would like to re-record with the addition of new events.

  When I'm passing this refnum to block 'Register for events', LabVIEW does not allow me to expand this block and add new events, which I think is understandable.

  Close, but no cigar.  When you add user events, you want to be sure that every event has a unique name, then name your constants defining the events differently (as shown here).

• Can't access language option "Add" via the control panel - > regional options and lang.

  Cannot access language 'Add' option via Control Panel-> regional control and options. lang-> keyboards and languages-> text services and input languages. When I click on 'Add', the language menu appears, but I can't take anything as the OK button is inactive. And I know I could do it before because I already added another language to my keyboard.   Please continue with the steps below...

  1. click on start, type intl.cpl in the start search box and press ENTER.

  2. on the keyboard and language tab, click on change keyboards.

  3. click on Add.

  4 expand the language that you want. For example, English (United States).

  5 expand the keyboard list, select the United States-International checkbox and then click OK.

  6. in the default input language list, click the language name - United States-International (where language name is the language that you selected in step 4) and then click OK twice.

  7. in the regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

  Notice that the language bar appears on the taskbar. When you position the mouse pointer, a ToolTip appears that describes the active keyboard layout.

  8. click on the language bar and then click States United International on the shortcut menu that appears.

  United International keyboard layout is selected.

• How can I add a page control tab at run time?

  I'm trying to add pages in the control tab in run mode, but I can't because it must be in edit mode.

  Here are the steps that I have:

  1. run the application.

  a. the application reads a txt file and it translated into a table with the number of rooms; [201, 202, 203, 204]

  b. the application takes this array and puts in place of the pages after how it is in the table and names must be the same as the numbers. (Now the program will start to collect information to fill the pages.

  c. the user can now change between pages. (Each page will have a table that will be updated with new information at run time)

  Is this possible or have you another solution?

  No, you cannot add pages, just as it is not really supported to add commands or the lights either (well, unless you plan to have always installed LabVIEW and not only the execution engine. If this is the case you can self-generate tabs etc. with VI Scripting pages).

  You can use an image control to "simulate" additional tabs, the orders or the lights, but normally it is possible to find a different and easier solution.

  In your case, it seems that all the pages have the same controls on them, it would be just the content that would change. So what you really want is a way to navigate between the 'rooms' availability You could add a list next to the tab control box, fill the list box with the availability of the rooms and the value of the list box to select the content to display on the tab of single page beside him, or you can use a menu drop-down. If you do not like these alternative presentations of the room options then you can generate the tabs in an image control and have a tab control page below which showed the content of the tab selected in the image control. That's a lot of work.

  Another option would be to create Let's say 10 pages in edit mode and then have the arrows under the control that allowed the user to navigate through the available rooms in groups of 10 (still is not really necessary to individual indicators on each page you don't need to make them on page... something to get this must simply move the indicators and controls on the tab control with the) arrow keys Cela will give you a black frame behind them, but in run mode, it will look as if they are on each page). In this way, you could have the appearance tab and navigation without having to simulate the tabs with an image control.   This can also occur if the installation files are broken or missing for the program which may be reason for the program does not appear in uninstall a program from the list.

  I suggest that you run the program to install the program again and check if you get an option to uninstall the program and try to uninstall the program.
  If it still does not uninstall the program, and then try to reinstall the program and uninstall afterwards.

  I use the splash screen that opens during my xml application that loads all of the HTTP connection.

  This start screen is controlled by a timer thread which, after some specific time, transfer to the landing screen.

  I would like to add different text based on the time spent on the thread of Splash.

  My current thread is 32 seconds. I want after 10 seconds, I'd write "Loading News... »
  After 20 seconds, I should write "loading settings...". "after every 10 seconds etc. Then, total three changes will come during the time splashscreen transfers control to landingscreen.

  How can I achieve this. Post my code, which will help you understand the requirment.

  In your SplasScreen, use the following for Timer constructor:

  hourly (task the TimerTask, delay, long)

  Schedules the task specified for the repeated execution of fixed / period, starting after the specified delay.

  Then task will be continuously called after the time (period) specified.

  And in the TimerTask:

  1. change the text of the label.

  2. If the total time of the display is greater than your total time then make disappear the splash screen.

  Is it possible to add fields to the form layout during execution. say at the click of a button similar to the Acro forms where we addFields() and deleteFields() methiods. InstanceManager can add subforms, but it is possible to add fields at run time.

  Subforms by themselves do not nuch... .they contain content (as fields), so when you add a subform you're actually adding content in the subform. So to answer your question, you cannot dynamically add a field, but you can add a field indirectly by adding a subform.
