  I am trying to add my Google account to synchronize contacts and calendars on my Mac. When I go to Internet accounts and add the Google account, I am stuck in the login screens.   I can't add additional accounts of Google. I created another account Google using my PC and I am trying to add from the Menu--> Settings--> accounts--> add--> Google account and by signing then to my new Google account, but it won't let me. It keeps saying "cannot establish a connection of reliable data on the server. I have 3G coverage full where I tried to add the new Google account and tried to add other places as well. I have 'data base' are checked, as well as "Data roaming" within the parameters of the data delivery. I read in another thread that you may need to do a hard reset and then add all your Google represents both. That seems pretty extreme.   Ultimately, this was fixed by removing my keychain entirely, no doubt I had a bad CA cert somewhere:

  rm - rf ~/Library/Keychains

  Note This will remove all your passwords, etc., so make sure that you have everything documented (for example in a password manager), or you will lose access to your e-mail, etc..

  Does anyone know the solution to this problem? When I add a google account and look in subcategories

  to be synchronized, the contacts are missing. Because of this, I don't see any contacts in app people. I checked my

  Gmail (Web) and I can see contacts. Also have my other devices (another phone, Tablet) android and

  I get the error unknown error when trying to add my google account to the touchpad. I can't very well through the browser connection but cannot add to email, chat, etc...

  Troubleshooting I did:

  (1) waited a few days and I tried again, same problem.

  (2) try with a secondary google account I have it connected fine.

  (3) modified secondary account to have the same password as that receives the primary error. Unknown error received.

  (4) changed secondary account to use different combinations of special characters from the main account. Received the error a couple of times. It seems that using a ~ in association with ( ) or even ( ) if there are between the two characters, causing the account giving an unknown error. I didn't try with the tilde, combination of buttons, but at least the 2 above do not work.

  I ended up changing my password contains only the above mentioned characters and that solved the problem.

  • E-mail: No. your email is not stored in Firefox, it is either stored on the e-mail service provider's website or a separate e-mail program, or both.
  • writing files: I'm not sure what this is. If you are using an add-on to create/save these files, then it is possible that the files will be gone after a refresh because the data associated with the modules are removed. However, if you have created these files in any other way, they should not be affected.
  • Microsoft Word program: No.. A Firefox Refresh does not affect the Microsoft applications.
  • Internet Explorer: No.. A Firefox Refresh does not affect the Microsoft applications.
