Add a sentence to all outgoing emails

For many years I used Outlook Express but now changed to Thunderbird. In OE, there was a possibility to enter for example. a sentence of greeting set, your homepage etc at the end of each e-mail. And I don't mean the possibility of signing of Thunderbird. Is this possible in Thunderbird as well?

The problem is resolved. I have tested by sending an e-mail to another address of mine and the result was 100%. Thanks for the tips.

  • you copy automatically on all outgoing emails

How can I automatically copy myself on all outgoing emials.   I don't want to blind copy myself.  I always want the recipient to see that I myself have copied.

I keep forgetting to do it manually.

    Thank you

    Laura

Although you can add a comment to every email (maybe added or included as a signature) saying that you have kept a copy, in fact, it does not SHOW that it has occurred.  If that's not enough, then that is fine and the problem is solved.  But it looks like you want a method to add your e-mail address as a cc: automatically when you go to send an email (or probably reply to or forward an e-mail message).  It is a different matter altogether, and how it is or if it is possible depends on the program you are using.

I use Outlook 2007, and the only way to do this (assuming that even in this way, it is possible) is to create a complex and long macro (which is way beyond my skill level).  Also, I find nothing in Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't think that it is reasonably possible.

If you use Outlook, you can try to post on the Forum Outlook: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officeprog/threads and see if they have any suggestions or solutions.  If you use Windows Live Mail, you can try:http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=15.  If another program, you can try their Web site for support options or the available forums.

I'm sorry I can't provide the desired solution, but I don't think it is possible in most cases and extremely difficult if possible at all in others (and Outlook where there is a chance, but only a chance is quite much more sophisticated email program out there).  I think that you can simply add your e-mail as a cc: whenever you send a show you got a copy (and you will then have two copies for your records - that receive you as a cc: and one created automatically in sent items - but how do you deal with yours).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

You were talking about AOL in your question. My answer, however,
is the same. Look carefully at everything. On my screen it looks like
a trombone. Move your mouse over each icon to see what it is.
Most web pages have drop-down menus. Look at them. And check
    help screens with suppliers.

  • How can I download all my emails to my account so that I can access and print my emails in offline mode?

Sometimes the work email server fails. There are a lot of problems in the it Department at work and I'm afraid I might lose all my emails. Can I download all my emails so that in the event of a failure of server to work or even if IT guys delete my account by mistake, I would still be able to access my emails and if I want to print them?

    Thank you

One way to do it is to put in place a filter as:

    manual execution
    contains @
    copy to local/my_backup records

BUT run it that once it will copy everything each time you run it.

You can also mark the ones that you want to save, right click and copy...

You might have a backup add-on like importExporttools. at the request of make backups every day of your e-mail folders (only those changed)

When I send an email to a "list" in my address book I want to warn all the email addresses of the recipients to be visible by all byhaving be the entire list > bcc - how can I do this with Thunderbird?

Place the list in an address field, click the TO and replace it with BCC.

  • How can I NOT have my outgoing emails piling up on gmail?

I use Thunderbird with gmail via POP3, IMAP. I just want to recover emails, download them to my PC and remove them from gmail. This part works fine. But with the TB and my previous Outlook 2000, my outgoing emails end up staying on the gmail server. I see no control in TB, or the gmail site say 'remove outgoing e-mail messages after sending' as is done at the front desk.
Is it just the nature of the e-mail systems?
Thus, every couple months I manually log on gmail and delete all the. I don't like my emails are available for a hacker.
Are there settings to achieve this?
    Thank you.

Is there is any option in Gmail settings, then I'm afraid that Gmail did this by default when using their SMTP server (i.e. Server SMTP of Gmail stores a copy of your mail in your sent folder of Gmail).
So there is probably nothing else, you can do other than to use another SMTP server, for example provided by your ISP.

  • I get two copies of all my emails. How can I stop this?

I get two copies of all my emails, I have accounts set up, but it doubles the email for each of them

    original title: vista email

Go to tools | Accounts and make sure that you have only one copy of the account listed.  Also try to remove the e-mail account, close WinMail.  Run WMUtil (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) to compact and repair the database and then open WinMail, and add the account back again.
