  Important-copy all data on the second hard drive you want to save on the first hard drive.

  To install additional video card for laptop is not possible as desktop, as the video card is integrated with the motherboard. • Win7 has exchanged information on the material between the integrated video card and add on video card - need to share in return. Registry hack?

  A remote desktop client from one office to another from 10 feet.  Now Win7 has become confused about the video card.  When you use the add on the map with two monitors on DVI cables, Windows thinks that he uses the onboard video (vga on motherboard).  When you use the onboard vga video, Win7 think he's using the add on video card.

  Your specifications video camera and your lack of QuickTime presets, it's almost a certainty that the installation of the first Elements needed as QuickTime will solve your problem.

  What could be your problem is the use of a video codec MotionJPEG for your video. Your camera seems to offer MotionJPEG video codec, but only as an .avi file. The video codec that goes with the file from your camera .mov is H.264. Thus, with an extension of the .mov file, you do not have the question common to Premiere Elements MotionJPEG any version.

  Please let us know if the installation of QuickTime works for you. It should based on what I've read online on your camera and knowing the requirement of Premiere Elements for QuickTime.

  QuickTime is required for your Premiere Elements.

  Get QuickTime installed should clear a lot of problems.

  Make sure that you are set as Run As Administrator or run Premiere Elements from a user with the privileges of the administrator account. Right click on the desktop icon of Premiere Elements, select Run As Administrator.

  After addressing these 2 key points, we'll talk about these .mov with about 5 GB file sizes.

• Why Movie Maker adds a video as a 7 second video white black?
