  You can use the status area of the screen (setstatus) to display things on the lower part of the screen. implementation of your own managers is more flexible but also a bit more difficult

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

  Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.

  I want to set a field to always be at the bottom of the screen without using setStatus() as it is opaque. Most of the discussions I looked at have a complex layout on top to a field at the bottom. I have a very flexible presentation, now that I have just my fields added to the Senior Manager. Is there a good way to push a field to the bottom of the screen? Or is it only possible by substituting the functions of some manager?

  It's not trivial.

  You must create a Manager and tell it to use all the way up and not be vertically scrollable.  So the dimensions that are placed in its sublayout will give you the height available to you.

  Now, you must add two managers to this Manager.  The first is that you'll add all you fields too - it will be a standard value, so that it scrolls.  The second will be the stuff you want at the bottom of the screen.

  In sublayout you will be setting page, the second field first, get its height and then set its position is at the bottom.  This will also give you the area that is available for your manager to scroll.  You will be then layout manager to say the things that he is restrcted to the height that you left.  As he scrolls will not worry.

  Finally, in sublayout, you will find setExtent making sure you use all the height that you were given.

• PSE7 Newbie - want to add text at the bottom of the photo.

  I know that it's really a fundamental question, but all I want to do initially is add text at the bottom of a photo and I want to use layers.

  1. I don't even know if it's the right sequence, but first of all, I get the picture (from file-> open in the editor).

  2. then, I create a text layer, but the layer is created the same size as the photo.

  I don't want the text on the photo, I want the text somewhere under the photo.  I discovered that I can move the Photo up and put the text below, but I lose the top 1/2 inch or more of the picture.

  Lets say I have a picture that prints 4 x 6 as a photo.  This money which, according to me, that I need is an editor window with the photo at the top with an empty space, 1/2 inch or so, photography, a place that I can put a text.  I realize that when I print a photo 4 x 6, the photo itself is only 3 1/2 x 6, but I don't think that ius here everything what I can do about it.  The point is that I want / need the photo to print with no cropping (Group hphoto with heads next and above).  Am I even explain it properly.

  I got something of almost works using resize the canvas, but ran into problems when you try to change the color of the cloth - and I don't want to get into this problem now (unless I have to).  It seems to me that I should be able to do it with just a couple of layers, the layer of text photo and t - I just do not find haoe to resize the layers to accomplish what I want to do.

  So I explained it clearly enough.  I can do with just a couple of layers.  Is it as simple as I think it should be.

  The addition of canvas adds to the whole image.

  You don't want to resize, just to enlarge the canvas itself. Set your background color to what you want the new canvas, then go to Image > resize > canvas size. Click on the top square of the Center to the point of reference and change only the length, the width of no, the canvas.

  I see that you are now using the title area for R1, is there a reason why you are not using the status area for r3 in the same way (i.e. MainScreen.setStatus (r3).)  This will mean that you can use the 'native' treatment screen that does not display scroll bars.

  Add the layer in the comp, and then use the layer.moveToEnd () method. The script Guide:

  I was wondering if anyone can help with this one. I would put a few at the bottom of a report calculated fields that have nothing to do with the main report. The items to be displayed are just other calculations that must be included to make the full report. These calculations must use their own SQL statement. Use a subreport? If so, I have all the tapes is useless because I just need to view the totals.

  I found the solution to this (eventually :-)).) Simply include a subreport and "hide" the other bands on the report by making them smaller.

  They knocked over the y-axis. But you can unreverse it and get back to what you are accustomed.

  To change the origin of the rule (and the direction of the Y axis) in CS5 - CC (2014) are the same as in CS4 and earlier versions, you can:

  (A) install and run the script in the OP of this thread,http://forums.adobe.com/thread/890507?tstart=30

  or

  (B) manually, change the relevant parameters of preference as follows:

  0) close down Illy (you can change the closed preferences with Illy file);

  (1) find and open the AIPrefs (Win talk) or Adobe Illustrator Prefs (Mac talk) file with a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit. the preferences file is a (hidden) file in the folder (hidden) parameters of Adobe Illustrator CS5

  (2): find and replace the following two bits of code:

  /isRulerOriginTopLeft 1 > /isRulerOriginTopLeft 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

  /isRulerIn4thQuad 1 > /isRulerIn4thQuad 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

  This is a global change, so you no longer have to do it once (just like you can cancel it once).

  There is nothing as simple as this. You can try to use a script to Format custom in the sense of:

  Custom script to Format for field of type text/list drop-down

  If (event.commitKey = 2) {}

  getField("Text2").setFocus ();

  }

  This will cause the development having the value of the field named 'Text2' when you press the Enter key in a text field (non-multiline). If the field uses one of the built-in formats (e.g., number), it is still possible, just more complicated.
