Home page at the bottom instead of top of page

Before upgrading to Firefox 12 when I opened it it showed my homepage (excites) showing the top of the page, after which I want to scroll down. Now, it opens at the bottom of the page and I have to scroll up to start at the top. I'm on an iMac.

These issues can be caused by the blocking of the websites via a host file.

Must fix it in Firefox 13 will be released on Tuesday, June 5.

  • Add fields at the bottom instead of top.

    I'm adding four fields of bitmap to a Manager of Horizontal field and the use of these buttons/tabs to switch between the 4 screens (each bitmap field mapped to a vertical area Manager). It is a layout with tabs.

    Horizontal management is added to the screen. It works very well. But I want the Manager from a horizontal add at the bottom of the screen instead of top.

    The fields of bitmap (tabs) are visible at the top of the screen, is it possible to place them at the bottom of the screen?

    Thanks for help

    I solved this a few days back by a Manager customized for my screen.

    MyManager implements Manager Andin this class I override the subLayout method.

    in sublayout, I use layout and setpositionChild to organize the children of this Manager.

    1. Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
    2. Beside the classical theme restaurateur, click Options (or preferences).
    3. In the left upper corner of the window options, select "tabs not on it" and make sure "Tabs in the title bar" is not checked.
  • Is it possible to return when he is on the left side of the screen so that the Start button is on the bottom instead of the top of the taskbar.

    original title: I wonder if it is possible to reverse the when it is on the left side of the screen so that the Start button is on the bottom instead of the top of the taskbar.

    I have a laptop wide screen so I move the taskbar to the left for more vertical space. I was wondering if there is a way to return so that the Start button is on the bottom and all the small icons of notification are on top?

    Hi Sparty11,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

    Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.

    You can share your suggestions on tracking site.

  • I have a trial key window xp home edition on the bottom of my laptop that I have not used. What is this for?

    I bought my new laptop in 2006, yes I know this is old, and never noticed that on the bottom was a trial for windows xp home edition key.  What is this for? How to use it?

    That's when you need to reinstall Windows and when the manufacturer installs Windows XP on your system.

  • Why move the command move to the bottom instead of the top?

    When I have a selected object and press "Enter" it opens the dialog 'move '... Why positive vertical numbers move the element down and negative move it to the top?

    It was on the front (via Illustrator CS 3.) Is there a way to change it back?

    Tilde,

    They knocked over the y-axis. But you can unreverse it and get back to what you are accustomed.

    To change the origin of the rule (and the direction of the Y axis) in CS5 - CC (2014) are the same as in CS4 and earlier versions, you can:

    (A) install and run the script in the OP of this thread,http://forums.adobe.com/thread/890507?tstart=30

    or

    (B) manually, change the relevant parameters of preference as follows:

    0) close down Illy (you can change the closed preferences with Illy file);

    (1) find and open the AIPrefs (Win talk) or Adobe Illustrator Prefs (Mac talk) file with a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit. the preferences file is a (hidden) file in the folder (hidden) parameters of Adobe Illustrator CS5

    (2): find and replace the following two bits of code:

    /isRulerOriginTopLeft 1 > /isRulerOriginTopLeft 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

    /isRulerIn4thQuad 1 > /isRulerIn4thQuad 0 (replace the 1 with a 0)

    This is a global change, so you no longer have to do it once (just like you can cancel it once).

    You can find the folder as described in http://www.bugge.com/Family-and-friends/Illy/illy.html">move the folder

  • How can I make Firefox quit popping up the boring bar "try plugins" at the bottom of the screen?

    I run Firefox nightly... Try to help by reporting the problems... But lately, there has been this annoying popup at the bottom of my top sites page of the page which seems to be the shameless for addons self-promotion and shit. I can hit the little x to close, but it keeps popping back as I care to be directed to the add on "store". I want to stop appearing.

  • The shortcut at the top of the page was command + home page and at the bottom was Ctrl + end. Now, I am running Windows 8.1 neither work. Y at - it a keyboard shortcut?

    Ta now the shortcut at the top of the page was Ctrl + home and end to CTRL + end. Now I'm under Windows 8.1 and Firefox Beta or this work. Nor control ++ or Ctrl + 0. (They do not work until I upgraded to Firefox while I was with W8.1). Y at - it a hotkey to get immediately at the beginning and at the end?

    Thank you for your response. It was not the solution because that my Sony Vaio (SVF15N...) is only a few days old. The shortcuts (?) keyboard are slightly different, for example and the 'home' is on the same key as the "go left arrow" also I had the same problem on Chrome as well.

    I found the solution: this is in case someone else needs it.

    "Go to the Summit" is the function + home;
    To end is function + end;
    end of the line is function + rt pointing the arrow;
    beginning of line is function + left arrow.
    Enlarge is command ++ (which seems to work now).

  • Mail carrier arrives in a new tab instead of the home page

    Recently I met a change when I open a new tab. Instead of the home page (as was the case previously) I get my carrier of electronic mail (e-mail) white page with an illustrated history of the last visited web sites. The statement tab in Windows should open new tabs with the home page and there is no problem that when you use Internet Explorer. Comments section Mozilla says to click on an icon of gear in the top right of the screen. There's no icon on my screen. How can I fix it? Thank you.

    By the way... in case you meant a separate new window (Ctrl + n) instead of a new tab in the same window (Ctrl + t), which should follow the setting of your home page. No need to go in: config for this. See:

    Add-ons can also override this setting, then see my comments on this in the previous answer if Firefox is ignorant of your homepage when you open a new window.

  • Firefox exceeds the page down when a bar at the top of some websites (ThinkProgress) opens and hides the text time that Firefox has already moved to the bottom.

    When I go to one of the new articles (not the home page) of http://thinkprogress.org/ , and then press the 'next page', a bar or window appears in the upper part, which obscures the part of the page. I think it's because the site does not place the bar until after I have scrolled down several rows on the initial page and then that Firefox has already calculated the number of lines to move down. The problem will not occur on the bottom of next page because the bar is already in place. I did not have the bar and want to make him stop appearing.

    -- I already have "block pop-up windows" activated and ThinkProgress is not one of the allowed exceptions.
    -- I am using Mac OSX 10.9.2 on a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Ahh... This is a header. Some web pages, when you move down, place it in
    the top of the screen. If you go up to the top of the page, it should
    Go away.
