Add text on each page

Dear Sir

I have PDF files and I need to add text on every page they have.

The text can be compared with one ID.

This isn't a watermark (!), because a watermark is spread over the center of the page.

In the right margin of each page, I would like to add text that rotates 90 degrees to the right.

I mean, it's something, a header or a footer but on the side of a page rather than up and down.

How should I proceed? I guess by using a file DDX can help me?

I read something about PageOverlay but I don't see how I can add content to the pageOverlay way in plain text.

Thanks in advance and waiting for a response!

You can do it with a watermark and stylized text.

The result looks like this...

  • Select the block of text on each page of a sudden and resize them

    Hello, I want to do a 400 pages of text. How can I select the block of text on each page of a sudden and change their size at the same time? (each block of text is the same size per page)

    Make a backup copy of the file incase something goes wrong, then:

    Ensure that executives align on the margins on all sides - change margins of the master page applied to achieve, if necessary.

    Allow the adjustment of the layout (layout > setting layout...)

    On the master page, change the margins to be the size you want the new text frame dimensions to be.

    If, for some strange reason, you won't use these margin settings in the layout, turn off the setting of page layout and reset them on the master page again to what you want.

  • Add textFrame on each page of the document

    I tried to write a JavaScript script to add a textframe on each page of a document.

    The script is written is:

    myDocument var = app.activeDocument;

    for (pageCounter var = 0; pageCounter < myDocument.pages.length; pageCounter ++) {}
    Create a text frame on page pageCounter
    var myTextFrame = myDocument.pages.item (pageCounter).textFrames.add ();
    The scope of the text block
    myTextFrame.geometricBounds is ['60 p', 22 ' p', '65P', "40 p"];.
    Enter text in the text block.
    var pageCounterPlus1 = pageCounter + 1;
    {myTextFrame.contents = "Page" + pageCounterPlus1 + "" + myDocument.pages.length}

    In my 5 page document, the script sets a textframe on page 1, 2, page 2 and 2 and page 4, but omits pages 3 and 5.

    My guess is that it's something on the pages, but I don't know how to fix it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Urban salvation,

    Change the original units of the rule extends to the Page:

    myDocument var = app.activeDocument;
    myDocument.viewPreferences.rulerOrigin = RulerOrigin.PAGE_ORIGIN;

    I hope this helps.

  • How batch edit several files to add images on each page

    Hello

    I have pdf files (about 1000) and all of them have several files. Is it possible using Acrobat DC (grammatically or using a function or tool) I can change everything in batch to have an image at the bottom of each page?

    The same image on each page in each file? If so, you can use the command Add watermark in an action brought in Acrobat Pro to achieve this.

  • How to hide text on each page?

    Hello, I have a file of 25,000 pages (PDF), I was hiding a date on each page, how do I do it automatically? I have Adobe Acrobat DC

    Is that all of the same date? I guess there is no protection against the change.

    You can use the redacting tools to remove throughout the document. In the case of a date that is the living text (which is not part of an image), I think you can find it under the tools > Protection > search for and remove text.

  • Add text to the full document

    The new editor of Adobe Reader DC (Tools/Fill & sign/Add Text) allows the visualization of single page annotated, unlike previous versions of the function to add text.

    This limits the scrolling through the other pages, for a reference to another page, for example, and then return to the page where the text will be added.

    Is it a question of setting that I missed?

    Is there a way to add text on one page and watch another, without leaving the editor and passing through several stages each time?

    If this is normal, it can be extended to behave similarly to the Publisher in earlier versions of Adobe Reader, to scroll through the pages in the text to add is enabled?

    This creates a real problem for me.

    Thank you.

  • Place a separate quote on each page of a document

    Hello - I would like to create my own maps as a document in InDesign, and I wish I had a citation 'motivation' on every page of every day.  I am trying to understand how to place a text box and then fill it with a new value in a list of quotes stored (somewhere).  IE automating quotes on each page and do not have to place the actual text of each page of every day.  If there is a reference to the concept, I'd like to at least be able to search for it!

    Merge data would be a solution for you?

  • Cannot add text to additional images on the second page of brochure

    Greetings,

    I want to explain it, so there are many understand the problem that I have in InDesign CC.  I created a tabloid size for a company brochure.  The outside cover works perfectly, I can add multiple blocks of text and add text to all created frames.

    Now when I go inside the cover of this brochure, I can add text for the first block of text that was created without any problem.  When I create subsequent text frames, I can't have a fast blinking cursor inside one of the frames.  The slider appears across the page in the upper left corner of the booklet, instead of the image.  This happens for all the images I create after the first picture on this page.  I select the text layer and the image appropriate, then I go to the text tool and try to place the cursor inside the frame, and the text tool will not active there.  All text created will begin appearing in the upper left corner of the booklet where is the blinking cursor!  If I delete the first block of text on the inside cover, and then create all new text frames; I can't add text to one of the new executives either.  It almost as if text is limited to that very first image I created.

    Thank you

    Carl

    Good,

    I found a work around.  Honestly, I want that the Type tool to convert frames for text blocks.  This occurs on the outside cover, and not on the inside cover.  So what I've discovered, it was that the executives who were not automatically convert to text blocks, I could manually convert them by accessing the object > content > text.

    I have yet to understand why the Type tool will do it on a single page and not the other, but at least I can end this now!

    Thank you

    Carl

  • How to add and remove a group of words in each page at a time?

    This is the condition I faced:

    I have a PDF document with 998 pages, first of all, I want to add a group of words called "Collected by Rocky" each page and the style and the format will be adjusted by myself; Secondly, I want to delete them at once.

    Editing my Acrobat is 11.0.11. How can I achieve these two objectives?

    This depends a lot on how you do it, but you can use a script with a loop that adds a field to each page of the file and then flattens the entire file, for example.

    On a master page - go to the master page (Pages panel) to modify or replace (Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + click) to make them directly on the page of the document

    On a locked layer - see the layers panel; Click on the lock (if present) to unlock

    Locked - objects choose object > unlock all on the spread

  • Add a link to the language at the top of each page; the master page logo does not...?

    I have a Logo in the master page, and all my pages have this logo, when it comes to adding a link of language on each page it only allows me to put a link and not several 'INTERLANGUAGE links to each of my pages in my Web site creation.

    NEED HELP FOR THIS... ANYONE...?

    I managed to do it myself, maybe I Specifies not or posed the question correctly; I've done the following:

    I caught the layer where the captain: which was the first right up and lowered down, which seemed to help me.  in so doing, I could add links to all my pages in the top left corner, because by the uprising of the page master layer with my logo at the top of the page on the op of all layers trumping any link I would put in all my other pages, by lowering the master page layer to the last section of the layers I was able to make the link in the upper left corner, without him be overshadowed or covered.

    Thank you

    Shawn.
