Internet connection not working is not wireless, connected to two networks

I have a problem connecting to the internet via the wireless connection. With a cable, I can connect to the home network and the internet. However with the radio, I have local access to the home network. In the network and sharing Center, it shows that I am connected to the home network but also to another unidentified network. When I click the Diagnostics button to see why there is no internet connection, he said that the problem is that there is more than one connection and that I should remove one of them. When I disconnect the network or unidentified network, they have both disconnect. I tried to reset the wireless adapter, reset the router and do a system restore and none of these worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Internet connection sharing: "Bluetooth network connection" does not appear in the list "Home Networking connection."

    Hello.

With Windows 7, I want to share the network connection Wi - Fi with Bluetooth through PAN (Personal Area Network).

When there are several connections in addition to Bluetooth after opening "Share" tab, I see these connections in the "Home Networking connection" list, but there is no Bluetooth. Then, when there is no connection in addition to Bluetooth which I can share with, there is no tab "share."

    Equipment: laptop Samsung NB30:

    • Broadcom BCM2070 Bluetooth 3.0 + HS USB Device with the driver PAN ('Bluetooth device (Personal Area Network)") provided by Samsung: Microsoft, version 6.1.7600.16385, 21.06.2006

As I assume there should be means to somehow add "Bluetooth Network Connection" to a list of connections that can be internet shared with.

Also, when I tried to fix this problem manually, other questions are raised:

    • There is really no Thoubleshooting guide for Internet connection sharing in Windows 7? I see this document on the site "Microsoft Support" for Windows 98SE, Windows XP - but not Vista and 7.
    • When I'm stuck to the administration of the system to the GUI, there is good decision to guarantee a target with the CLI. After searching a command line installation Internet connection sharing, I see no guides for this - only something likehttp://forums.devshed.com/windows-help-34/enabling-ics-under-command-line-89499.html . Is there really no way to set up ICS by command line and I'm forced to use complex GUIs?

So, please help me solve problem BT PAN ICS. But if you reply to other questions, it will also be interesting to read.

  • Cannot share the internet connection on the network with sprint card

    Hi all

I'm stumped on this one. I'm working on my network of fathers, and he lives in a rural area. Unfourantely, there are not a lot of internet service here. It uses a printed card that connect locally to a windos vista home pc. From there on, the connection is shared and that the pc is connected to a linksys router. The router, then hosts a wireless network and hard line connections. About three weeks ago, the Internet stopped working except the computer, map of sprint is hung directly. I tried the following options below to solve the problem.

    1. I can plug the card sprint to any computer and it works.

    2. I replaced the network adapter on the host computer

    3. I have tried the card sprint on other computers and tried to share from there. Same result

    4. replace the router

5 opportunity anotehr card Sprint which has been known to work

    6. replace the network cable between pc and router

    7. I tried removing the router from the equation and ran a network of host pc card form for directly to another computer

    8. the host and also renovated of other computers reformated

    9. do you have an ipconfig/release and renew

10 tried sharing all NICs on the host PC

When sharing the connection, I can see all the computers on the network. They arise, there is simply not an internet connection.

The only mistake that I seem to get is not able to find the DNS. I put everything on dhcp.

Any ideas that anyone can come would be most appreciated. Thank you

Q1. Which computer should I connect main internet connection (computer on which will better host win7 or Win XP)?

Q2. What equipment I mean as a router, hub, NIC etc.? Please specify if these materials will be required for two PCs or for one.

Q3. What type of Internet connection sharing will be better to be wired or wireless (cost, speed and security wise)?

Q4. I need two IP address both part of connection to the internet between two PCs?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Zeff,

You can make Windows 7 the main computer for internet connection and then host the Windows XP computer.

For more information, see the article:

Start here to set up a home network in Windows 7

Networking of computers running different versions of Windows

With respect to the equipment as a router, hub, NIC depend on the connection (wired or wireless) you want to use. You can also check with the ISP (Internet Service Provider) for more information.

For more information, see the articles:

What do I need to connect to the Internet?

    Setting up a network home

Wired and wireless connections have great benefits, but they have also some disadvantages.

    Wired connection:

    > Faster and more robust than wireless connections but not so flexible when positioning of computers and devices because you must be connected to your Super Hub with an Ethernet cable.

    > Safer than wireless connections, but not so convenient for users of laptops and other mobile devices.

    WiFi connection:

    > Wireless! If you can connect when you want. However performance may be affected by walls, electric interference etc.

    > Ideal for users of laptops and other mobile devices, you can connect devices more but slower than wired connections

    > Very safe when used with higher level (WPA) encryption. You can connect your smart phone to your network wirelessly for faster browsing.

However, unauthorized users could try to use your connection (which explains why security is so important).

There are two types of IP addresses. external and internal. Both computers have the same external IP address but separate internal IP addresses. Each device in your network will have its own (internal) IP address. The external IP address, who sees the Internet is actually assigned to your router.

Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

  • My laptop cannot connect to wireless internet. Ethernet works fine. Wireless is enabled on the laptop.

    original title: portable wireless problems

Hi guys, my laptop cannot connect to wireless internet. I tried to use ConfigFree Diagnostic tests already installed on my computer, reset the router, and even taking on the router for 30 seconds and put it to. On my laptop wireless switch is turned on, too. Is the only way I can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable and I started to disconnect from the wireless internet just yesterday. I know that my router is not the problem because I have a laptop connected to her brother. Also, I tried the FN + F8 key on my Toshiba laptop. Thank you in advance.

Is this also your thread with a different name?

    ====================================================================

To do a hard reset on the router and the modem, you must feed their STOP, wait 3 minutes,
then then turn on the modem on - when it comes back - router - when it is set to zero
    computers.
    ----------------------------------------------

Anyway the same answer applies: update WiFi driver that something has probably
He touched. Make sure that the wireless device is turned on, if there is a switch on the computer.
Many Toshiba have a WiFi switch on the front or side.

Update the driver WiFi, use the wired (NIC) to download the driver or do it on another
system and your transfer on removable media such as CD, DVD or a USB key.

Control Panel - device - network - WiFi note the brand manager and full
model information - double click - writing tab Drivers version - then power management tab uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device...". »

Then on the tab driver, click Update driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind
drivers of certification) - then right click on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will
    update the driver stack.

Go to system Maker and search for the WiFi Driver updated - download - SAVE - go to
where you put it - make a right click on it - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT

Then go to the site of the manufacturer of the device and get even more recent (Realtek, Intel, or one that makes
the device) and try the install again.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Share Internet connection between two computers

I have a laptop running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 - bit and a desktop computer running Windows XP Professional 32-bit. Both have the latest service packs. The laptop is connected to my WiFi and I need to share it via ethernet. I could just use Connectify but I don't feel like it. What is the best way to share?

If the office is not close enough to get a cable (or you don't want to drill through walls), buy a wifi USB adapter for the office.

If it is close enough to run a cable but the whole of the Ethernet ports on the router are used, buy an inexpensive Ethernet switch.

    Hello

Usually, this occurs if an operation on a socket could not be performed because the system didn't have enough memory buffer or because a queue was full.
Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Renew the IP (Internet Protocol) address.
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: ipconfig / renew 3. Check if the problem persists.

    Step 2: Winsock Reset
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh winsock reset
    3. check if the problem persists.

    Step 3: Reset TCP/IP
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note: If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    3. restart the computer.
    4. check if the problem persists.

  • I need two network adapters to enable internet connection sharing in windows 7?

I want to share my internet connection wireless local network to another PC. But I can't seem to find the sharing tab in the properties of the wireless network connection dialog box... Please someone help me out... Thank you

    NO YOU DON'T NEED THAT

    HERE'S HOW DO
    Here's how:

    1. Log on to the Windows (the one that is connected to the Internet) host computer as administrator
    2. Go to network connections in your control panel by clicking Start > Control Panel > network and Internet > network and sharing Center and then click on "Change adapter settings" in the menu on the left.
    3. Right click on your Internet connection you want to share (for example, Local area connection) and click on properties.
    4. Click the sharing tab.
    5. Check the option "allow the other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection". (Note: for the sharing tab appears, you will need to have two types of network connections: one for your Internet connection and another that client computers can connect, for example, a wireless card.)
    6. Optional: If you want other network users to control or disable the Internet connection, select this option.
    7. You can also optionally allow the other network users to use services running on your network, such as servers of e-mail or web servers, according to the settings option.
    8. After ICS is enabled, you can Set Up an Ad Hoc wireless network or use the new Wi-Fi Direct technology so other devices can connect directly to your host computer to access the Internet.

    Tips:

    1. Clients that connect to the host computer must have their network cards placed to obtain their IP address automatically (look in the properties of the network, under TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 adapter, click "Obtain an IP address automatically")
    2. If you create a VPN connection between your host computer and a corporate network, all the computers on your local network would be able to access the corporate network, if you use ICS.
    3. If you share your Internet connection on an ad hoc network, ICS will be disabled if you disconnect from the ad hoc network, creating a new ad-hoc network or close the host computer.

    What you'll need

    • a Windows 7 computer with an Internet connection and another network card
    • client computers that are active and capable Internet connection TCP - IP
    • network card for each computer
    • modem for the entire network
  • How can I connect to the internet through the dial upward through the computer another internet connection?

As a resort last, if it is not possible at all means, ultimately, let me know how to connect to the internet through another computer via the telephone line through Internet connection sharing or network connection. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Remember, this is on the internet. Not on whether or not Microsoft does not support Windows 2000. If you tell me how it is not supported, please do not post. • Updates, caused the loss of internet connection

For the second time this year, after a Microsoft Update on my netbook Windows XP Home, I lost my internet connection. Two courses (June) updates involved are KB2518864 and KB2478658. I tried to restart the computer once or twice, and I still didn't have a connection. I did a system restore, and the internet connection is back. No idea what's going on? (Yes, I know, Robear, that it is wrong to use the system restore, but it seems to do the job.)

I have tried to have reported the problem to Microsoft but had someone who did not speak English very well and was indifferent to the problem. When I said that the restoration of the system got the rear connection, he said, "so what do you get? He added: "We recommend you to install all the updates." I said it wouldn't do me any good to have the updates, if I could not then use the computer. He said that he would report the problem - but he was not asking for any personal information, and I don't have a file number.

Another question: I installed all the high priority Patch Tuesday updates June, Thursday, June 16 - and told me that everything downloaded and installed OK. I have been informed (by the yellow shield) on the two new updates on Saturday, June 18. No idea why these two pointed to the end?

Finally, I need these two updates (they are for the .NET Framework) if I'm not a programmer?

If you do not you leave your system vulnerable. If you lose your internet connection, you can remove if Add / Remove programs in Control Panel.

Hide and not install it leave you vulnerable. I would try one at a time. If you lose your internet connection remove the cause of the problem. It is always useful to restrict the domain where the problem lies. Get even one reduced the vulnerability of your system.

You brought up an incident report. You will have more information we hope to get the update problem problem solved...

I would not bother to Robear. His behavior is sometimes irrational.

I created both LAN and WAN interfaces with the public IP (security level 0) with the ip address of 192.168.35.4, the security level 100. In fact, we replace the old router, and should take its address. I added 0\0 static route for my default gateway, and I am able to ping Google DNS server for the router, but impossible to the computer on the network. The network switch is also present on 192.168.35.254.

For the purposes of the test, I changed the WAN IP address to computer connected to it with IP 192.168.99.2 192.168.99.1, and when I try to ping to the LAN interface, it does not return a ping.

    I'd appreciate any help.

    I thinl it's your acl global_access.

You have not applied to an interface with the access-group command.

If it applies to all interfaces that includes the LAN interface as well as the WAN interface.

Then add ICMP in there or remove the acl if you want the apply to all interfaces.
