Add text to photo prior to export

Hello, I entered the name of the person in the photo to the 'scene' of metadata, and I would like to add that name to the photo before exporting (show it on the bottom of the photo).

I can do this in PS by entering the text in a layer, but the name appears in the metadata, I would do it with less manual work. I do a series of photos lrge.

LR can do in print and the web, but is it also possible for export to jpg format?

Thanks for the help.

William

LR/Mogrify can use meta data you choose (including IPTC and EXIF), and multiples of metadata. So you can have the legend and copyright or whatever.  Simply select the pop-up screen chips in the export dialog. It can do a whole lot more than just add text... try it.

As far as the print module goes I don't know any way to the title or legend what to the bottom of the page (as I would use LR/Mogrify to that sort of thing) but for the simple labelling it works very well. Perhaps there may be a certain out there who knows better.

How can I add text and arrows etc to a photo in lightroom 5.4? Must I lightroom for this? What other program Adobe will make this easier?

The functionality of Lightroom to add text is export, when you can add a watermark using Lightroom; or via a plug-in you can add other texts. I'm not aware of any element in Lightroom or plug-in that allows you to add an arrow.

Photoshop Elements will do what you want (and many other editors as well images, including some for free)

    Hello

You can add captions using the legend adds at the bottom of the details pane. When looking for images using the search box, you can find pictures using caption text to exactly in the same way that you can find pictures using tags and file names.

Photo Gallery doesn't have an option to add a
text on the face of a photo.

You can add text with Microsoft Paint:

And... I agree with sohail khan... Picasa is a very

  • PSE7 Newbie - want to add text at the bottom of the photo.

I know that it's really a fundamental question, but all I want to do initially is add text at the bottom of a photo and I want to use layers.

    1. I don't even know if it's the right sequence, but first of all, I get the picture (from file-> open in the editor).

    2. then, I create a text layer, but the layer is created the same size as the photo.

I don't want the text on the photo, I want the text somewhere under the photo.  I discovered that I can move the Photo up and put the text below, but I lose the top 1/2 inch or more of the picture.

Lets say I have a picture that prints 4 x 6 as a photo.  This money which, according to me, that I need is an editor window with the photo at the top with an empty space, 1/2 inch or so, photography, a place that I can put a text.  I realize that when I print a photo 4 x 6, the photo itself is only 3 1/2 x 6, but I don't think that ius here everything what I can do about it.  The point is that I want / need the photo to print with no cropping (Group hphoto with heads next and above).  Am I even explain it properly.

I got something of almost works using resize the canvas, but ran into problems when you try to change the color of the cloth - and I don't want to get into this problem now (unless I have to).  It seems to me that I should be able to do it with just a couple of layers, the layer of text photo and t - I just do not find haoe to resize the layers to accomplish what I want to do.

So I explained it clearly enough.  I can do with just a couple of layers.  Is it as simple as I think it should be.

Do you mean that you do not find guided edit, the player of the shares or is not for that action in the action player?

The addition of canvas adds to the whole image.

You don't want to resize, just to enlarge the canvas itself. Set your background color to what you want the new canvas, then go to Image > resize > canvas size. Click on the top square of the Center to the point of reference and change only the length, the width of no, the canvas.

  • How can I add text to my photos?

I want to add text to pictures, save the image and upload to print to my camera and the local Print Shop.  How can I do this?  I bought lightroom book 5 (which is the version I have) but I only find how to add text before you print it and not save the image and print elsewhere.

When I did, the watermark is always superimposed on the picture. I don't know that if you can get it to appear in the margin, I never did it.

  • Having several problems with Adobe Premiere elements 13.  Now my worst is that when I add text to a clip, it comes out "Auto color" so that the text is in place.  Help?

I'm having some trouble with 13 elements.  One is that, in mode 'play', the sound stops just happening.  I have to click 'pause' and then 'go' again and the sound returns.  It stops also play on its own, I have to hit 'play' on several occasions.  Just got the software, used intensively for a week or two and it just started happening.dor

Today, when I add text to a clip, it deletes now on "Auto color" so that the text is visible in the clip, then automatic color when the text is missing.  Any suggestiosn?

If we look at the same thing, you called the attention a strange first elements 13 titration AutoColor/module interaction. This can be reproduced to the Expert or

fast working space. I will be this demo within work fast since it's where you worked.

    1. import a still in fast work/film space.

    2. with the still selected, go in Panel of Palette/Color tab/settings setting expanded and just click the close the route of the tab Auto color tab adjust.

    3. go into Menu/New text/default text to open the module of titration of the project. When you do this, you see the following and not the still on which the text title must go.

And when you close the titration module, you will see the title of text "Add text" in nature.

The only solution I can think of right now is to create the title of text and then apply the Auto color to the still.

It is interesting that this happens only with the color of the car in the color Panel. If you do not click

Color Panel and to use more options for color adjustments, this behavior does not occur.

Deleting the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file does not correct this situation.

I think that here we have to explore the parameters of the project (presets), rendered the source and chronology of media properties and non-rendusent contained prior to export.

    Please read the foregoing

    a. check if the Auto title text color glitch I've seen what you describe in your situation

    b. give the details of your project so that we can explore cause and effect for irregularities in reading content of chronology, as seen in the edit box monitor.

I want to find an easy way to add text to an image I have on my iPad Air. I have a Bluetooth keyboard to use with it.

  • Captions and text in Photos

I want to add text to my images in the photos and the new version doesn't seem to have that (unlike iPhoto).  I use Keynote to create a slideshow?  If so, are there and an easy way to transfer an album in Keynote or must I copy each image?

    What do you mean by

I want to add text to my pictures in photos

You can add a title exactly as you might in iPhoto - in the view menu == > metadata check titles - just right-click on a photo and info and enter the title it

Similarly, you can add a description in the Info window

If you want to have the text on the photo you need an external editor, exactly as you did in iPhoto - preview can do and to use it as an external editor, you need external for extension of photo editorssince the App store

and you can create slide shows of Photos that you could in iPhoto

Please explain what you want and exactly what you are doing and what is the question
