  Hi all. just ran on my page xhtml validation and all check out the lines that contain the icons of social media (facebook like, pinterest, google 1, etc...)  the errors I get are something like below, it's something to worry about?

  Validator is the search for evidence and commercial be encoded as "&". But, you may end up with that hassle. Shouldn't really affect the outcome and / or how the functions of your site. Can be ignored.

  Where is the index.html page for the site that was already there? The new folder that you add must be in the same folder with this index.html file original in order so that it can be served at the URL www.mysite.com/newfolder.

• Links to social media in the same window of muse. I am trying to find a way to get them to open new tabs.  Someone knows how to fix this?

  I know that the settings of Muse are supposed to have links open in a new window but that is not happening.  I took off and links several times.  In fact, all external links open in the same window of Muse. Help please! I'm ready to connect to the domain, but cannot bring myself to do it until I fix this.

  There are two aspects of this issue:

  1. You can use pictures on social media if you reduce the size of the image to the social enabled versions that is not larger than 1000 pixels on the long side and add directly copyright information on the image itself. The specific language for copyright information must be in the license agreement, but it must include the name of the copyright of Adobe Stock/artist.
  2. You cannot use images on any social media site claiming copyright of the uploaded images. You must ensure that they do not send the images to Web sites that break our license agreement.

  Many sites now use downloadable fonts to create their icons instead of the traditional image files. So, there are some Firefox settings that might be a factor, as well as the NoScript extension, if you use this (blocked objects).

  (1) in the dialog box fonts Advanced, unchecking the checkbox which allows the site to use its own choice of fonts. To check that:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

  Here you must "allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  (2) on the deactivation of fonts downloaded in: config. It's less likely, or you remember probably not, but here's how to check on it.

  • In a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
  • In the search box at the top of the list, type or paste the gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered
  • If gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled preference is bold and user, set false, double-click it to return it true.

  This seems useful.

• Last update adds a new tab with social media links to the exsisting homepages. How can I stop this?

  When I open Firefox, my home pages (4) shall, after a slight delay, a new tab appears with links to social media and the new tab is active. I want to stop the new tab to open!

  Uh-oh, you may have installed a non official package containing the update. If your download history indicates the source, can report you here?

  Your "more system details' shows the extension MySearchDial. I recommend you to remove that from the addons page (if possible) or from the control panel.

  Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then find MySearchDial and remove (or at least turn it off).

  If necessary, open the Control Panel, uninstall a program, then click on "installed on" heading of the column to bring recent infections, uh, additions, upward.

  One use of these social media under the installer options must view the history of your contacts social media activities in the Profiler data flow in Profiler.

  For example, you can configure the twitter field to see the latest tweets in the flow Profiler for a contact. For this you must follow two steps:

  1. create a new contact with an appropriate name field to capture the ID of your prospects twitter handle

  2 map this field contact newly created under settings > Configuration > administration > social media > Twitter

  3. grasp handle twitter ID in the field name of the contact, created in step 1

  Why Firefox 8 does it create such an small active space or spot hit on my buttons of social media at the top of this site: http://bit.ly/wWjZxy

  In Internet Explorer 9, social media at the top of my project site buttons have a full active area size button to click.

  When you look at the site and buttons even on Firefox, your mouse is able to click on the buttons only in a small area in the upper left corner of each button.

  None already formatted for social media. You must do this, but I don't know that a search on the site of Stock for 'Inspirational Quotes' will bring up a very good choice.

  With the current trend of social media, it seems to be a big gap in what we can offer to our learners with Captivate premium.

  Badges and certifications can be downloaded and then uploaded to social media, but it is the same measure of interaction with social media with the LMS.

  Is there a possibility where we can create a social media within the LMS option?

  For example:

  A chat feature in the gamification section where you can chat with your colleagues?  (This cat can be an electronic bulletin board, live chat, etc, just like other social media)

  A list of messages to highlight for the homepage of learners where learners from the same groups can share ideas and experiences of internships with their colleagues?

  A post directly to * insert media social source * when someone completes a course, wins a badge, etc..

  There are many options to offer, but I hope that my examples give a correct indication of the feature, to which I am referring.

  Not exactly, but if you right-click on an image and click "Open in a new window", you can use the URL in your browser window to share just that image.
