• Header running including the text does not appear

  I have a table with a number of lines, each one for a different product. Each product has a type of product. The type of product does not anywhere in the line. But I want to use the product type in a header running on the master page. Is there a way to make the hidden text, it can be picked up by the variable header running but not displayed in the cell where it is defined? Or y at - it another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

  I'm generating the table programmatically, so it is easy to add type of product with a character style for the text of the first cell in each row. I don't want just the product of the first cell to display type part.

  Unlike a table of contents that can be non-printable text, I don't think that a variable will do that, using the method of Willi to make it invisible is so logical. I would go a little further, however, I think and place this information into something anchored in one of the cells. Set the positioning custom, so it has no effect on the flow of text.

  I would define also an object for these anchored frames style that has both a definition of position to the anchored object, so you don't need to do all the time, and the good assigned paragraph or character style to be picked up by the variable. During the editing phase, I would define it as red or another contrasting color so that you know that you will see if it is present and will be able to spot when he is away and then change the style definition to give the text a fill [None] just before the release.

  Assuming that the header is an object on the master page, Cmd (Mac) /Ctrl (Win) + shift click the picture containing the header, then delete, or make a new master based on the original and remove the header, then apply it to any page you like.

  I created a character style to set the color for text, color only.  When I apply it to a set of characters, it also changed the font face and size of 36 to 12.  Paragraph styles have the same problem.  If you want it to be 36 points, applying it replaces about half of the desired size.  This is a bug in CS6 (v13 & 13.0.6) and now in the current version 20141014.r.257 on Mac 64-bit both 10.9 and 10.10.

  

  

  

  Thanks, Gaetano, in your instructions, define you the font and size family.  I want my character style to work on any font family and size.  I discovered that the character styles work only as replacements on a paragraph with no other replacement style. Reviews for my average screenshot that I didn't put all information from the police. When you apply a character style to a block of characters having replacements, you get one more on the character style.  By clicking the first icon (arrow), removes all replacements and applies the style of character, which causes the font family and size change noted in my 3rd default screenshot.  Myriad Pro Regular 12pt seems to be the default font and therefore the police that you get when you remove all replacements in order to apply the character style.

  By creating multiple paragraph style and remove all replacements in the text for each, I've been able to apply the character with just the color style.

  In conclusion, character styles are working but cannot be applied to the text block that contains the default text or a style paragraph and no substitutions.

  I have multiple accounts on my Windows Live mail for different companies. But I want to see all mail mele under one heading, rather than under each account separately. That's the way it was under the old Windows Mail.   How can I set up?

  Yes it can.  You can have a single Inbox with multiple sources.  It's WLM 2012.  The Inbox "all" is the only one.  When you answer it takes the email address associated with the source (that is to say in my case, direct, com, org, etc.).

  to set up multiple accounts go to file > options > email accounts > add them one at a time > save them.

• Adding version 9.0.2 PS6110 to a group with one Member running 8.1.3

  I have an existing PS6210 running Firmware PS 8.1.3 production. It is the only member of the group, eqlgroup. We have acquired a PS6100, I spun it and it is a member of his own group, eqltestgroup.

  The PS6110 is currently running Firmware PS 8.1.4 and I want to update 9.0.2 before adding it to the production group, eqlgroup (to save me the task of updating the thing with data of production on this subject).

  Can I upgrade the firmware of the PS6110 to 9.0.2 and then add it to the production group? Eqlgroup will accept the PS6110 after the update? Or do I have to update the 8.1.4 PS6210 (if I don't update the PS6110) or the version 9.0.2 (if I update the PS6110 in 9.0.2)?

  All members of a group must run on the same level FW. Only during a short period of time, a mixed configuration is allowed.

  If you do not add the PS6100 in your production group, I suggest to update your EQLs 8.1.4 first production.

  BTW. something you should consider... mixture of 10G and 1 G units within a group or the connection to the host even Cluster may not be the best idea.

  I have

  1. built a folio for Android app.
  2. published the folio
  3. DPS app generator used to build the application
  4. Terminal used to generate the key
  5. Use the DPS to sign the app
  6. I transferred the file to the device Android apk and installed - it installs fine

  When the application opens what can be seen is the application icon in the top left corner of the screen and a menu tool, upper right corner for the settings and all

  The screen where the application should be showing is completely black.

  DPS App generator screen shows that the app is unsigned, as illustrated below.

  

  The other thing that's weird, I think, is that the created apk file is large, 3.6 MB while the folio files are quite large and on the iPad, the app is 500 MB.

  I guess I have three questions:

  1. what Miss me the screen appears black on the Tablet?

  2. why the DPS app Builder shows that the application is not signed.

  3. shouldn't my apk file size matches the size of the folio?

  Because you have a block of text referred to as "SchmaltzkopfsTextFrame" and you want to insert the variable in the text to the insertion of the 3rd point, you must do the following 2 lines.

  var SchmaltzkopfsTextVar = SchmaltzkopfsTextFrame.insertionPoints [2].textVariableInstances.add (LocationOptions.AFTER, SchmaltzkopfsTextFrame.insertionPoints [2]);

  SchmaltzkopfsTextVar.associatedTextVariable = myVar;

  In short, there are 3 or 4 steps by adding a text variable.

  (1) create the var-online myVar = doc.textVariables.add ();

  (2) give its properties (this and the CA step above combined)-online myVar.variableType = VariableTypes.MATCH_PARAGRAPH_STYLE_TYPE; // etc.

  (3) insert an instance of text variable where you want-online var SchmaltzkopfsTextVar = SchmaltzkopfsTextFrame.insertionPoints [2].textVariableInstances.add (LocationOptions.AFTER, SchmaltzkopfsTextFrame.insertionPoints [2]);

  (4) choose what variable type text that you want to use. => SchmaltzkopfsTextVar.associatedTextVariable = myVar;

  understand that the header (character style) running to pick up either the first or last instance of the character on the page style. but it does not work on my paper.
  I noticed that if the last paragraph of the previous page (page 1) continue to the next page (page 2), the header on the next page (page 2) running will be the high efficiency of the word (character style) of this paragraph even if the word is on the previous page (page 1)

  am I missing something?

  I guess you get this effect by using a nested paragraph style. If the first paragraph in the page style 'contains' the character style in a nested style, this style of character seems to be counted as the "first occurrence on the page", even if it seems actually on the previous page. (The paragraph style that contains is the first occurrence of the style nested in the page.)

  You can probably "extract" the character style so that it is not nested in the paragraph using GREP style, but keep in mind that variable text tend have a rather odd 'memory', and this can take a little trick to make them 'forget' what they have been striking before you made the change. You might try the trick "INX round trip".

  It's a terrible thing, "false memory syndrome"!

• OE_ORDER_PUB. Process_Order errors when adding a detail if one of the existing detail rows row is updated

  Hello!

  Whenever a sales order line is updated but not yet recorded in the order form, oe_order_pub. Process_Order errors when you try to add on the same command line. It gives the error "line locked out at the treatment of" the first time you run the api then it gives the error "Record is currently underway on by another user, please try to update later" on successful runs.

  When I tried to simulate the same using two forms of sale, an update of one of the lines and do not save more while the other added a line in the same order sale then save, he managed to save the line.

  What I don't understand the API's for it's to stop me if I just add a line, and it has nothing to do if an other lines are updated by another user (and this is only possible on the order form)?

  Is there anyone who has encountered the same? This is the normal behavior of the api or I missed something? No work around?

  This problem is solved.

  The solution to the problem is that the value to calculate price flag must be set to 'Freeze the price' If you do not want Process_Order to update the price of unit sales of existing lines SB. Based on my observation and technically speaking, Process_Order updates price of all the existing lines of unit sales (and probably other columns) linked to the price based on the price of the object's current price list if the indicator price calculated is 'Calculate price' (I have not tried but in "Partial award"). If other users happen to edit one of these lines of l.o. and has not saved, the update fails and this is the reason for my problem.

  1. whenever I have put some text in ID CC victory, my text automatically turns pink and has a certain title font - this comes from one of my character styles.

  2. when I then selects a paragraph style, nothing happens. The paragraph style to display I return to character styles and select style - NO.

  Can you tell me how to get this action to stop and instead, to get a specific paragraph style to become default for all set text?
