Adding about email text field

Hi all

I have a button on my form which must send the form in pdf format, at a fixed address with a message topic set, which contained variable swiped from a text field, IE "subject; New e - DCR < TextField12.rawValue >'

First of all, I got everytihng working with an automatic transmission by E-mail button, but could not solve the problem of subject line text.  Next, I added a normal button with a type usually controil & tried the following (to another post on the forum) under the event in the script editor - script now, the button does not even occur, click...

var Mailto = " " [email protected] "; "

var object = 'New e - DCR' + TextField12.rawValue;

var email = ' mailto: ' + Mailto + '? Object ="+ subject;

event.click.submitForm({)

cURL: Mail,.

bEmpty: true,

cSubmitAs: 'PDF '.

});

I'm a n00b full script, so any tips & help would be highly appreciated.  Thank you!

You sent the form as well as the description. Check your email.

Thank you

Sidonie.

    Hello

    I think that you have specified a textFormat to text. You must add the following

    Assuming that this is the format

    var txtFormat:TextFormat = new TextFormat();

    txtFormat.size = 20;

    T1 = new TextField();

    T1.defaultTextFormat = txtFormat;

    Apply the default text format that we just put in the text that is already in the text field ('g')

    Otherwise the default text format apply to * new * text * typed * in the text field!

    Without this, the original text in text fields ('g') will use the default value for a

    Flash text (Times New Roman 12pt), rather than the defaultTextFormat (Times New Roman 20pt) field.

    T1.setTextFormat (T1.defaultTextFormat);

    addChild (t1);

    This affects any existing text in the text field in the specified format (making it the same as the default value). Now, when the text field is rendered first uses the default format that you set, and when you type also uses this same format, and so the format is no longer able to change.

    I hope this helps.

  • Extended CRM multiline text fields do not allow any line on the back-end breaks

    I added a multiline text field to a form of extended CRM and tie it to the Contact entity. When I login to the Admin and trying to change this field in the customer record, it does not line breaks. Pressing enter (or SHIFT-ENTER) while in the multi-line text box, saves the record. It takes me not to the next line in the text box, which is what I want.

    Hello

    At this stage in order to add a line break in a multiline text field, you will need to use either
    or
    to do so. Previously, it was possible to press on enter, but this feature has been removed awhile back months to increase safety, specifically related to possible vulnerabilities on cross site scripting.

  • text field auto in expansion in the table?

    I'm very new to LiveCycle, but I'm starting to get the idea of some of the basics, I think

    Right now, I'm looking for text fields (in a table) for 'add more lines' but at the same time be Visual on screen - so I guess that the size of the lines will have to dynamically increase the size based on the amount of information added in this text field...

    Is this possible and if yes how can I do?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Here is an example that explores the various parameters that you can have for a textfield. You can apply to textfields in a table as well.

    So that the drive to send the complete PDF, the document must be enabled for the drive. This gives the document certain usage rights that allow the reader to do things that he cannot normally, including saving a form updated the. To do this:

    Acrobat 9: Advanced > extend features in Adobe Reader

    Acrobat 10: File > save as > Reader Extended PDF > activate additional features

  • Adding characters to start and stop in a text field?

    "For 1 d bar codes, there are two options according to the type of form to use. The forms you create in Acrobat (acroforms) can be set up to use a bar code with a standard text field. • Adding additional text fields

    Hello.  Our performance plan document used as we use the large company is in Microsoft Word and as you probably know, filling out a form with Word is not really optimal.  I thought that I would try to use Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES to create a PDF form for employees to use to replace the word one. (This is my first time using LiveCycle Designer) I have been on all successfully using text fields.  I have now a problem finding exactly how to accomplish a specific function.  Under the section ' what you have accomplished this year", I would like to have 2 or 3 text fields displayed for the user to enter their data and then have a button that the user can click to add additional fields as needed.  Unfortunately, I could find a way to do this.  I've been playing with subforms and subform instance controls but I have been unable to make it work.  Also, should I just laid out in a table?  I do not currently use a table and I don't know if this would facilitate the process at all.

    I appreciate any idea which can be lent.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Adding (or divide, multiply, etc.) in the text field values

    Hello world

    I'm trying to calculate values in fields of text entered by the user (who didn't accept numbers) as well as the values selected by the user drop-down list boxes. I have a function to a button:

    reviewQ.calcBtn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, calcAns);
    function calcAns(e:MouseEvent):void
    {
         reviewQ.calcAns_text.text = "Your calculated result is " + parseInt(Q1.Q1_text.text) + parseInt(Q2.Q2_cb.selectedItem.data) + parseInt(Q3.Q3_text.text) + parseInt(Q4.Q4_cb.selectedItem.data);
    }

    Now, all I get is the actual values entered into the text fields and selected in the drop-down list boxes. How can I get the sum of these values to display on my 'calcAns_text.text '?

    Thank you for your help,

    Rafa.

    You have to build your own filtering for values.  If you think that decimal values, then you will need to plan and test for the presence of a comma in a numeric string and then do not use parseInt(); (what creates an integer value), but use instead Number();  You will need to filter the commas in the numbers in the string before creating the value used for the calculation.
