• Adding drivers to a .wim by using dism

  I'm new to this forum and I hope I'm posting correctly. I tried to add new drivers for my image using DISM wim and I keep getting impossible driver package to install no matter if I try to add one or 20 using the recurse to the end I ticked then double my syntax. I included it below in the hope that someone can give me a helping hand.

  All DISM commands must be run from a command prompt with elevated permissions.

  Secondly, you should inject only drivers for the BIT version of your image. The command that you use will attempt to install drivers to 64 and 32 BIT. You should go further to run your command recurse a folder.

• Adding drivers for VM in our image of workstation

  So we have our image workstation of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and now that we have VMWare, I want to push this image to a virtual machine XP while many of us may tweak it before us which for new PCs this year.  We also use this virtual OS for our virtual office trial this summer and autumn.

  Accordingly, I need to add the VMWare drivers to this SCCM image (as well as pilots of the model of this year).  I can't isolate records VMWare SVGA II and VMWare VMCI Bus Device, so that I can import them into my list of drivers SCCM.  I guess these are put in place through the installation of VMTools.  Is there a way to download only the two pilots, or is my only option to install to install VMTools?

  Yep - that makes no sense - tools will detect that the backdoor is missing, so they will not work in any case.

  On your driver problems...

  Use a tool that records all your existing drivers - there are several of these tools. Run this inside an XP normal-VM, which has a typical installation of the vmware-tools.

• Adding drivers for HP Officejet 4500 Desktop G510a-f in Windows 8

  I have a desktop HP Officejet 4500 G510a-f. My computer is a gateway HDM! Windows 8 operating system. My system has a virus really bad, so I had to just remove & return to manufacturing to installation so I'm having to put all the hardware, software, and pilots back on. The only one that Im having trouble with is my all in one PRINTER! I have the HP solution for the resettlement of the printerdrivers Center. Usually when I complete, I get a message; "The system cannot find the specified file" then it gives a path: "

  Follow the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.

  Now, try to reinstall the HP software and check if the installation goes as planned.

  If the problem persists, continue following the steps below:

  2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
  3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
  4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
  5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.

• Put into service devices (EX60, etc.) added as TMS systems

  Two questions based on this topic.

  1. I noticed when I configured my EX60 with our VCS that everything has worked out perfectly well.  However, I would like to add also the system in TMS as a system that gets watched, not managed as such by TMS.  I noticed that there is a checkbox in the settings called 'Set up', preventing MSDS to alter the configuration of the parameters on the codec and switching TMS to be VCS.  However, I have noticed once that I added it in TMS after it has been supplied by VCS, TMS has changed the settings of commissioning until I could check the put option in service in the page settings of TMS of the codec.  Y at - it a good way or numbered steps to add a codec in TMS that will eventually be put into service in VCS?

  2. How someone handles directories within TMS, if one has a source of directory-based endpoints in a folder where the aircraft put into service, and you have the directory based on the configuration directory.  How would he keep the system appear twice?  Right now the directory provsioning side two H.323/SIP as @domaine, while settings for H.323 and SIP is @domaine.  Are there two entries because it is listed in the telephone directory in two different places, or the H.323 entrance is different?

  So, basically, what is the preferred method of deployment when provisioing these devices with the VCS and wanting to be able of have registered them in TMS for all purposes the user would like.  Because obviously the two can be made, do not know the best way to go about it.

  1: I tested the first scenario in two ways, adding the endpoint to the TMS and then provision it and purge, available and add it again.

  None of these facts, the box automatically ticked but adding the system first, gave the time check box so that the parameters of TMS is not applied. I guess it's the best way to do at the moment.

  2: as you know, when the system is put into operation it is associated with the user in the TMSPE directory, FindMe would be the answer here and then choose to not import the "peripheral" in the provisioning directory to keep only the URI FindMe. You want to configure the EX with a model of the device: [email protected] / * /

  The end point once added to TMS will appear in the "All systems" directory, which is an effect that you get when you add the system put in service to TMS. But the effect is neutralized by FindMe when you are not importing the user devices in the configuration directory.

  Hi all

  I have a X 230 to which I would add fingerprint reader. I ordered a new palmrest with fingerprint reader. My question is, is it a simple plug-and-play or will there be BIOS config to do and adding drivers?

  I have an mSATA SSD that will cause problems?

  Someone at - it added a fingerprint reader to their X 230? If so, it was simple or have you met a questions?

  I am currently working on a Vista 64-bit system and I don't seem to have all the drivers , that I had when I was running with a 32-bit Vista system. All that I have to choose a ' SQL Server ' is in my "Create new Data Source" dialog box. I need to be able to establish a connection to an Microsoft Access database and select Microsoft Access (*.mdb) in the "Create new Data Source" dialog box. On this new 64 bit Vista system, I don't have this option. Why is this? How can I get them? What are my options?

  I had similar problems yesterday when I updated to 7u51 (with TMS 14.1.1).  I rolled back to the previous version, I had installed and it worked fine.

  Pursuit of the investigation, it seems to happen due to new security measures in the new version of Java.  You can move with the latest version of Java 7u51 by adding your server TMS in the security exception list:

  (1) Control Panel Java Open

  2) click the Security tab

  3) click on the button "change the list on the Site."

  4) click Add and type the URL of your server TMS in the location area (IE http://tmserver/tms/)

  (5) to continue beyond the warning about sites http if you use http instead of https

  6) click OK on the control panel

  Then you should be able to hit the Java pages in TMS without any problem.

• Clustered servers listed in TMS

  How managing licenses for control of VCS MSE 8510, TCS, cluster, VCS Expressway TMS.  Each slave/peers must be added in the TMS or that the master should be added?  I know for the MSE 8510 it says not to add the slave to MSDS, only add that the master, you can access the slave by the master in TMS via a tab group.  Is it the same way for other devices, and the slave/peers take device licenses in MSDS?

  Hi Patrick,

  I can tell you that VCS and it is each VCS must be added to the MSDS. When there are cluster and you click the Cluster tab and that VCS you have selected, you will see the cluster information to include peer global cluster name under 'Settings of Cluster' and then all VCS cluster under "Cluster." According to which VCS you have selected, you will see which is the 'master' and who is a 'slave' in the pane "Peer Cluster.

  As far as TCS is going, and I assume you mean TANDBERG Content Server, I need for work research since I'll admit that I don't have a TCS cluster in my lab. However, I would remind each TCS must be added to the TMS as well and it will appear as does the VCS in TMS. And this should be covered in their documentation, i.e. Add TCSs and/or TCS clusters to MSDS.

• Removing VCS of TMS and TMSPE migration problem

  We prepare to start using TMSPE, however it must first disable replication on all VCS via MSD MSD Agent.  There is a VCS that have failed has been deleted afterwards, but we cannot delete TMS because TMS Agent replication is enabled.  We cannot have the Agent MSDS tab to disable the replication because the VCS is offline (i.e. it was removed) - it just goes to the 'Connection' tab whenever I try.

  So, how can we migrate to TMSPE if TMS don't delete us the VCS in offline mode or at least turn Replication Agent MSDS for it?

  Try to run this SQL query:

  USE TMSNG

  UPDATE field_SystemField SET BolValue = 0 WHERE field_Field_Id = 1072

  UPDATE Cluster SET EnforceTMSAgentDataReplication = 0

  This should clear the replication on all VCs added to the TMS (even the zombie ones like the one you have), once it is executed, you can try to purge the VCS.

  Hello everyone

  I explain my problem, we have a CUCM with CTManager to plan meetings of the CTS, we have 2 VCS with a TMS to plan meetings of TC endpoints also.
  Our TC end points are saved in venture capital using H323, recorded in CUCM using SIP and exchange of email to can program using the CTManager. And TC endpoints are supplied by our TMS.

  As endpoints of TC may appeal to the endpoints CTS sometimes we have meetings planned between TC and CTS endpoints in the CTManager, but if schedule us a meeting by using the TMS, meetings of CTManager disappear and endpoint show TMS meetings, if we do a resynchronization of the electronic mail room in the CTManager We can see again in the meetings of CTManager in the touchscreen.

  We tried not to allow bookings for this endpoint of TC in the TMS, but later there is no way to schedule a meeting for this endpoint, even using the external call.

  You know any workaround solution to activate the two calendar options running on the same endpoint without removing the CTManager meetings? We don't need the BBFRR for the TMS meetings, only for meetings of the MLC.

  Disabling power of the TMS write calendars 'Meetings' on managed systems is not supported. If an endpoint is added to the TMS, TMS assumed that endpoint is not used in another system of planning (such as CTS - man) and could replace any parameter that depends on the other system of planning.

  For now I'll set up a new infrastructure of CMR. All components of telepresence have the lates software. CUCM 10.5.2.

Now I start the Conference and the conductor trying to call the endpoints of Pentecost sip uri format and the call fails. I thought that the driver uses the trunk for appointment in order to dial a number to cucm. CSS entering the CUCM site has been configured. Do I need something special on the driver or TS? In conclusion called Pentecost this format + 55228713030 fine work and call the Pentecost sip uri [email protected] / * / fail.

  They have a few clear example of aliases and auto dial configuration for this conference?

  Conductor is by adding the address of the place of CUCM configured under configuration Conference > locations.  I don't know the conditions, but it's because tenayo is not a field is full, or it is not routable.
