Adding text to a symbol dynamically

I need help with this.

I alreay have the coast (mySymbol) in the library

I would like to add a few test dynamically (to write something about it).

Then, when I call this symbol on the stage (create an instance in AS3), it is changed with the test

Mimi

Examine the TextField class in the Flash help documents.  They explain how to use it as a dynamically added object.  Adding a textfield to the movieclip will be essentially very similar to what you do to dynamically add an instance of your movieclip on the stage, using the addChild() method.

    I opened the paint when you view a picture and added text to the image.  Then, I saved the image.  Now, I want to remove the text.  I can't click on the text box to remove the text.  Someone at - he found a way to remove the text in the paint?

    This is because once the file is saved the text in the area is part of the image, it is only a layer separated during the editing session.

    Painting is a relative simple image editing tool, save the editing as separate not process or don't create undo functions that survive to the record. Once you do this generate you a complete picture and revised to replace the original, unless you use the function Save as and save it under a different file name.

    Adobe change Acrobat a lot between releases. Make sure you follow instructions to the same version you have.

    If this looks OK, let us know the exact version you have (help > about Acrobat Pro).

  • How to convert a PDF file that contains an image (picture) with added text typewriter (numbers next to faces) in a JPEG file?

    I'm trying to convert a PDF to JPEG.  The PDF file contains a picture JPG (photo of a group of people) which I added text (numbers next to each face) using the Acrobat typewriter function.  When I use Save as and select JPEG saved file does not contain the added text.  I tried to export the file and got the same results.  Is it possible to save the PDF modified with the addition of text to a new JPEG file?

    Hi jackh46691612,

    Simply fill out the PDF using the Adobe PDF printer, make sure that you have selected "Document & annotations" in the dialog box to print before printing to the Adobe PDF printer.

    Kind regards

  • Why the font size is so great when adding text to the photo in high resolution?

    Why the font size is so great when adding text to the photo in high resolution?

    Font size is usually determined by the size in points. 72 points equal to 1 inch. the size is independent of the size of your actual file. You might have a file that is located at 72 dpi, which is set to a 5 X 7 "and the police would be the size even if it is a 1200 dpi image 5 X 7.

  • BUG? Copy paste text inside a symbol

    Hi all

    I currently use CS5.5 and I may have found a bug:

    I have a symbol in my library, this symbol contains 2 items of text and graphics.

    If I copy, say, a word of the first text object, and then paste it into the second part of the text something odd happens: all text in the symbol is glued to the place that the word has copied. In other words the copy text from a symbol will copy every bit of text you have in the symbol.

    I was wondering if any of you can confirm and reproduce this bug that I have.

    U

    It has been reported at least since 2009

  • Photoshop CC: Workspace flashing black when inserting the Guides & completely black when adding text

    Recently I bought Photoshop CC (2 days ago) and shortly after installation I jumped on Photoshop CC, and began to implement the prefferences for my personal use and started to just do some basic stuff and see what's new in the CC when insertion Guides and adding text to the workspace started to flash/stay BLACK. I don't know what is happening but my specs are better than the minimum requirements? No idea what happened? Operating system: Windows 8.1

    It is a well known bug of Windows 8.

    Update your video card driver from the site of the manufacturer of the GPU (NON-microsoft). If for any reason, you cannot update the video card driver, then go into Photoshop preferences and set GPU "basic" mode and restart Photoshop.

  • Give the text within a symbol a play of command

    Create a project report that has a ridiculous amount of command set. When I did it... i had the command to receive messages by clicking on text. In the end it wouldn't work because even when I was not hiding no longer necessary texts, they overlap texts newly inspired and were still cliccable.

    So... i tried it by creating and by separating the texts in 5 symbols different (one for each chapter of the draft report).

    Now I admit im a noob when it comes to code, and I can't understand what the code is necessary to ensure that when I click on the text (which is part of the symbol) it invites the control panel.

    I tried to add the symbol get or get the item symbol predefined channels, but im clearly not to fill all the details or something.

    Thanks for the time spent

    The classes you need are PdfTable and PdfCell

    http://cfsearching.blogspot.com/2008/09/getting-started-with-iText-tables.html

    I was curious, I threw together a rough example. It adds the table in a pdfTemplate, then the model adds watermark to each page. The positioning and table dimensions are based on my sample data, so you'll need to tweak the.  Make sure that the dimensions of the model are large enough to accommodate your image and your text. If the dimensions are not large enough, the watermark is perhaps not visible.

    Err = "";
    TEST VALUES
    maxlinechars = 40;
    dCompany = "Google Inc.";
    dnom = "1600 Amphitheatre Parkway";
    dPhone = '+ 1 650-253-0000';
    dEmail = "[email protected]";

    simplify the code by putting the watermark text values in a table
    TextElement = [dCompany, dName, dPhone, dEmail];
    inputFile = ExpandPath ("ChapterSection.pdf");
    outputFile = ExpandPath ("ChapterSection_Watermark_ImageWithText.pdf");
    imgPath = ExpandPath("/dev/beveled_purpleblue.png");

    get the size of the watermark image
    Note: table width and height are examples of values for demo only...
    Watch to your dimensions are large enough to accomdate your text and image
    otherwise the watermark is perhaps not entirely visible
    IMG is createObject ("java", "com.lowagie.text.Image") .getInstance (imgPath);.
    tableWidth = img.width () + 100;
    tableHeight = img.height () + 75;

    create a template for the table storage
    CB = pdfStamper.getOverContent (1);
    model = cb.createTemplate (tableHeight, tableWidth);

    create a single-column table
    table = createObject ("java", "com.lowagie.text.pdf.PdfPTable") .init (1);
    table.setTotalWidth (tableWidth);

    reusable objects for adding rows in the table
    PdfCell = createObject ("java", "com.lowagie.text.pdf.PdfPCell");

    imageCell = PdfCell.init (img, false);
    imageCell.setBorder (PdfCell.NO_BORDER);

    table.writeSelectedRows (0, - 1, 0, tableHeight, model);
    WriteOutput ("calculated tableWidth =" tableWidth & ", tableHeight =" "& tableHeight &")

    Add model watermark to each page

  • Change the color of the text in a symbol?

    Hello

    I have a symbol (a button) that consists of a text and an Ellipse.

    I want to change the color of the text when you move the symbol:

    So I added this code to "mouseover" of the symbol:

    sym.getSymbol("mySymbol").$("myText").css ("color", "red");

    but nothing happens. What can be the reason? When I replace 'color', 'background-color' it works, but this isn't what I want.

    (version 2015.0)

    Take a look at this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sz1o8m619xunqds/textcolor.zip?dl=0

    TextColor is the unmodified original.

    the textcolor2 file also has the change in the size and the code is embeded on stage.

  • Cannot save the added text to the. CFG files.

    Hello! I am new to Windows 7 (as is practically everybody, because how it's a new operating system...) and I'm currently under Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition. In the past, on my XP machine, I liked adding items of scenery, aircraft repainted, etc., and in order to introduce the aircraft repaints, text lines must be added to a certain .cfg file located in one of the folders landscapes. My problem is that although I can open and view the contents of the .cfg file, when I add the new text and you try to save, I get an "Access denied" error message. It just doesn't allow me to save! This single action is the only thing in the way of enjoying me the use of the scenery file that I recently downloaded. Any advice on how to bypass this annoying problem would be great! I've already traveled through the administrator functions and tried to open the .cfg file in Notepad and wordpad, but without success.

    Press the windows key, type in Notepad, click with the right button on the notebook, run as long as administrator, open your Notepad file, modify, save.

  • All text is in symbols (Windows Vista)

    Almost all of the text on my desktop and applications are not in English, but in weird symbols (notches, circles, triangles, rectangles). Worse still is the fact that I can't read anything in the Start Menu to find out where the control panel and my computer are to solve the problem, nor enter web addresses in Google Chrome to access Microsoft Support (I ask this question on another computer).

    All I can do to solve this problem, as the change in the language? Descriptive instructions or images would be helpful since I can't read any of my menus.

    well, a good way to change these fonts is to click with the right button on the desktop and should be the last option in the right click menu 'customize' with an icon of the small screen. If done correctly, you should see a window with icons and the "words". Click the icon with the 'orange' and blue squares This should be "themes." It should be a drop down with different themes, try the different themes to see what works. One of the themes should change the fonts.
    I hope this helps...

  • I need help, adding text to the jpeg file

    I need to add a name to a jpeg file for a product that I do with the file... when I go to the text tool and enter the name, it is not displayed. I need to unlock the layer-how can I do this? I have knowledge of basic photoshop btw.  Thank you!!

    The fact that the file is a JPEG file is not the problem. Even if the background layer has been locked, a new layer is added when you add text. Select the Horizontal type tool and click on the page. Once you see the insertion point blinking cursor, type away. You can make choices in the formatting Options bar at the top. When the text looks as you want, click the check mark.
