  Please forgive me if this is in the wrong category/forum, I can't seem to find one for Oracle Portal. I wonder if someone could help me with this issue please?

  The ldapmodify script puts the specified group in the field "Default group" of the 'Edit portal user profile' page in the portal, which is fine. However it is not in fact add the user to the group. When I check the list of the members of the users group are not listed. Also the group is not listed under the existing users group membership "in the"Edit user"page. Also, when I try to connect to the portal as users, I get the error message "you are not authorized to perform this operation. (WWC-44131) "

  Your LDIF file must change the group entry and no input from the user.

  I'm working on obiee10g.
  
  "Group is created in settings-> Admin-> manage the catalogue presentation groups and users.
  For each access Group privileges is assigned in 'Manage privileges'.
  Now, there's a table in the schema that is created which stores the group with assigned users.
  The table was already created by someone else.
  But we know that ' users can be added to the group using the UI of the use of OBIEE settings-> Admin-> Manage presentation catalog groups and users ' directly.
  
  I just want to know by experts, what may be the reason behind the creation of the table for the same purpose to store users?

  No it's not. Just to make it clearer,

  How it works is that, once the authentication has been made by the SSO application engine, the user id is passed to the OBI and captured in the HTTP header on the web server OBI. This user id is used as an input to extract the different parameters of the external Table(as in discussion). The web group to which the user has access to is also extracted as parameters.

  After that, the system for webgroups session variable is set with the value retrieved, and so the access control is assured.

  In a summary, the authorization part must also be implemented using the external table as well. The mapping of id of the user with the role (web group) are there in the table and recovered in the same block of initialization.

  Just to mention, web groups would still be created in OBI BAU only.

  It would be rather convenient for you in view of the current implementation, you got.

• Assign to users when the SSID is added to the AP group

  I just created a group of AP for the first time on my controller 4402.  When I went to add a SSID for the group, it is said that it will disable the WLAN.  Does this mean that all users on that SSID will be disconnected?  How long the loss of connectivity would generally last?

  The wireless for a SSID will be glitch if you make a change to this WIFI, only not by adding it to a group of AP, unless you delete it.

• Adding "User Registration System" on my site with DreamWeaver...

  I did some reading and watching YouTube videos on how to go about this process and it is rather confusing. Does anyone have a description on how will this process for Dreamweaver 2014.1.1 the 'proper' way to build/system of registration of the user to add to their Web sites via? Below my "sync settings" at the top right I don't have that CSS designer, files, active, Insert, checked. In all the video tutorials I looked there was much more so than :-(

  In a batch which I read and watched, I feel that I have a generator that is "test server" PHP Script for a database. That being the case, Adobe has all - or any specific PHP software suggestions - as to what we should use with Dreamweaver? I guess we certainly with regard to the registration of the user due to the gross amount of the names/emails/etc., that can be collected.

  I know I'm wide enough right now, but I'm looking to be guided in the right direction. I know insert a simple model of the user registration system would be easy, but I don't know if this is how it's done for everyone in this case. As well, I'd like to at least make a unique in a certain measurement, that's why I love Dreamweaver!. It's my third site and I'm looking to improve each!

  If your hosting plan gives you a server C-Panel, you can connect to it and create password on your server folders.  A folder with the same user name and password.

  If that fails, contact your webhost and ask their password protect a folder on your server for you.

  So I finally get the hang of the IOM and I know there are 100 ways to do something, but this is what I want to do, but do not know if it will work.
  
  Basically, when a new user is created in the IOM of a reconciliation of the trusted source, I rule of auto groups group memberships and access to the automobile policies in addition to the user AD resource. Based on the organization with which the user is, I have an adapter to prepopulate create them in a specific OU. A/d converters create user work flow starts and everything is good.
  
  Here is an example:
  
  Trusted source > IOM > belonging to a group of Auto > user AD Group > access policy > user AD.
  
  
  
  I am now all this a step further and also add the user to certain groups of ads, according to what OU, they are placed in.   Remember to update the rules that supplies the objects of AD Group to take into account the value of the field 'Account AD' service.

  Your approach should work if each user can have zero or one role of AD groups and there is no field in the form of process AD is defined by a form of the object.

• ESXi 5 - added user cannot connect ssh

  I am lost in the vast amount of documents and have not found anything that, covering thus pointers to docs command-line ESXi will be very appreciated...

  I added a user (with password) on a host machine ESXi 5.0.0 made the new user member of the users group and granted access the user's shell. I have double-double-checked access password and shell setting, but trying to connect to the host fails: login just repeat the password, and then closes the connection.  After logging in as root, I can su to the new user (password is not required). Am I misunderstanding something, maybe added users can not connect?  Or have I just missed some setting somewhere?

  You must add the new user to the root group in order to ssh. That opens a lot of other security issues as well. As an alternative, you can also change the following files to add a user ssh:

  /etc/security/access.conf

  Add a line that allows your user. For example, for the "bot" user add the following before the last line (-:ALL:ALL) in the file):

  +: bot: ALL

  Edit the following file:

  / etc/passwd

  Find your username in the line add a base directory, the works/tmp and then change their interpreter/bin/Ash. For the "bot" user you have a line like:

  BOT: x: 501:100:ESXi user: / tmp: / bin/ash

  You should now be able to ssh in the host by using your user name. The problem is that these files do not have the sticky bit set, so once you restart changes will disappear. You can change this behavior to have your settings persist, but I'll be here all day describing the process. You can probably find a good ventilation of the how to make your setting persist on vm-help forums.

  You have entered the code in the execute method. Put it in the method bulkexecute as well.

  Why do you need to write event handlers to put the user in a group? Better to create a rule group membership and attach it to a group. Whenever a new user is created, the role membership rule is evaluated. All the users who fill out this membership rule will be automatically get assigned to this group.
