Address bar changes in Firefox 9 height when no address is in it. Is this a bug?
When you start typing, or when an address fills in an address bar empty, the address bar resizes its height and creates a strange Visual jigger.
I also had this problem and it was indeed caused by the add-on "Read It Later", however, the folks at "Read It Later" seem to have already updated their add-on to solve this problem. Make sure you run the latest version of the add-on 'Read It Later' (you can update manually by going to FireFox > Modules > Extensions tab, then click on the pinion in the upper right and select Check For Updates) - my Add - it shows that the version 2.1.4 update January 3, 2012).
This should fix the problem.

7. now your windows size is different from the objectives of firefox! So if you have access to some specific pages then all subsequent pages you open have a Firefox window that is much larger?
How such a last change?
If you open a new window, this window shows the same behavior (i.e. is it connected to a specific window) or the new window shows the same behavior without having to open one of these sites?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Since I installed Firefox 10.0 when I open my favorites, I get a side window that opens and stays open when I click on a bookmark. I must return to the icon at the top to close the side window. In the past when I would get the bookmark drop down which disappears when I clicked on a bookmark. Is there a way to go back to the way that it used to be?
Looks like you are using the toolbar icon that opens the bookmarks in the sidebar and not button Menu bookmarks with the drop marker that opens the menu drop down.
Versions of Firefox 4 + have two buttons bookmark with a star in the window customize.
A single star button has a marker to drop that open Bookmark menu.
The other star button without the marker drop open bookmarks in the sidebar. You can drag the button customize menu bookmarks with the marker in the window in the palette of the toolbar on a toolbar (for example, the Navigation bar) or the tab bar or on the left side of the bookmarks Menu items.

You did it ensure that you have the visible Navigation toolbar?
If the menu bar is hidden, then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the call of menu bar.
Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".See also:

After the update to firefox 17.0 when I do a scan with Norton 360, it is no longer captures the rejected. These cookies that have been picked up with firefox 16.0.02 what you have changed? Plus, I'm getting sick of these updates - at least we tell users what has changed in new versions.
First of all, we do not say what has changed in each version, http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/17.0/releasenotes/.
Secondly, Norton should always be able to delete your cookies (just so that you know that the cookies are generally harmless, and you don't need to worry to remove). If not, you can delete the cookies in Firefox Cookies - Information that Web sites store on your computer

During the summer, I tried to download a free photo colorization program and I think that, in doing so, I accidentally agreed to Yahoo my default browser. My Mozilla Firefox flaw opens on Yahoo and other Yahoo features. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox, but it is always default to Yahoo and I noticed that I have more windows pop up after this connection to Yahoo. I just disappeared and redo my popup settings and will try and change my default screen, but I wish I had my old original Firefox without any Yahoo. For example, say my toolbar File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, Yahoo!, help. I just really want to get rid of the intrusion of Yahoo. On the troubleshooting page I noticed that my Extensions configuration includes the toolbar Yahoo! and RivalGaming, which began to be the provider of many pop ups or independent of opening screens when I click on particular objects or best I wish to see. I want to get rid of both.
The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.
Note: This will make you lose all the Extensions, open Web sites and preferences. To reset Firefox, perform the following steps:
- Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
- Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
- Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

My site was created in Microsoft Frontpage by using Internet Explorer. I added to Firefox, but when I try to make changes to my site through Firefox, it won't work. I have the local and versions at distance of a page is open in two tabs. I change images (keeping the same name in the HTML code) and download the modified image. The tab that displays the remote page does a refresh to show the change. The tab showing the local page of do not. I tried to open it in a new window, but it still doesn't change. Only if I restart Firefox does show the change. Why? Is this a bug?
Try using Ctrl-Shift-R or Ctrl-F5 to reload the page. This tells Firefox to reload all the content on the page, ignoring cached assets copies.
I don't know why this is happening in the first place, although I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that the remote copy is loaded from a web server (including a bunch of headers allowing browsers to know when we need to get a new copy of an asset), while the local copy is loaded directly into the file system.

You can change the color of the lower bar to play on a slide when you assign the cpCmndShowPlaybar to 0. When I assign the slide this action it shows a gray shape down to hide PlayBar controls, but I would make this white color to blend in with the white background on my Web page. How to change the color?
It is not possible to change the color of the border by an (Advanced) action, sorry. If you don't mind, you can choose white color for the bottom border from the outset. When the play bar is visible, as it it stretched, it will cover the bottom edge.

Since the update for Firefox 4, I offer more the ability to save tabs on shutdown - makes more rapid access to these sites when commissioning the next day. Why this possibility has been removed? It was a feature favorite and saved a lot of time.
Firefox 4 records the previous session.
You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session" for the previous session.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.Another possibility is to use:
- Tools > Options > general > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.
You can set the preferences of warning on the topic: config page true via the context menu or toggle the value with a double click of the left.
- browser.showQuitWarning, see http://blog.zpao.com/post/3174360617/about-that-quit-dialog
- browser.tabs.warnOnClose, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/About%3Aconfig_entries
- browser.warnOnQuit, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnQuit
- browser.warnOnRestart, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnRestart
To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page. -
Running Windows 7 with all updates. Starting with version 29.0.1 of Firefox, Firefox often hangs when I go out. When you restart Firefox, I get "Firefox is already running but is not responding... ». I then have to manually stop firefox.exe * 32 front I can restart the program. I applied all of the suggested fixes (disable all addons, extension and themes), and made sure I can delete the parent.lock file. Also noted the closing delay mentioned with Vista user. I have the error message occur several minutes after the release of Firefox, although I have often used the X button at the top of the right screen to exit Firefox always without any problems in the past. The function of this key has changed too?
In any case, I use now exit the menu button drop down, but still have the problem of blocking. This is a bug in Firefox 29 where Firefox crashes out when the setting 'clear history of Firefox closing' is selected.
If you use custom settings for history in your Firefox Privacy options and selecting 'Clear history of Firefox closing', remove the checkbox. See this article for more details:

Hello! I've upgraded to Firefox 20. When I turned on private browsing, I can't find. Please notify. Thank you!
Thanks for your response! Strange, I can look through the title bar but not the search box. In safe mode, I can search through them both. Looking through the title bar is fine for now.

I was watching www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles for months. I started using Firefox about a month ago. Earlier today, when I tried connecting to the site, I received the message "Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never end."
I went on your site and follow the instructions. This Web site was not in the blocked sites. He told me how to add it, and I did.
She still refuses to open this site.
Internet Explorer WILL open this site.Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
-
is why firefox sometimes pop up a bar projection top 'firefox prevented this redirect page automatically, enable '.
