[ADF, JDev 12.1.3] How af:panelBox the skin?

Hallo,

I would like to change the background color of a panelBox.

I would like to Hilight light or Medium Hilight (like here http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/faces/components/panelBox.jspx;jsessionid=ef0ccf9e7f4ae08b8c46bcbd7e0a), but full ownership gives me only the options...

The only one that change the background is "dark"... I see no difference with others.

Thank you

Federico

You can use the background color to the skin the panelbox selector.

    Hallo,

When the user logs on successfully, the applitacions led him to the main.jspx page.

The main.jspx page has a menu bar that contains all of the available menus, submenus and menu items.

After the connection, when the main.jspx page loads I would hide all the menus, submenus and menu items that the user is not qualified to see/use (I read the database).

You kindly tell me which is the way the cleaner to achieve?

    Hello rohanwalia,

Sorry, but I need more help

I guess that the solution is to create a method in the AM who - reading form the database - returns a structure that indicates for each menu item should be visible or hidden.

    • How can I use the data returned by this method?
    • I call in a managed bean specifically dedicated to the management of the menu? Can I also use the already existing media bean, I created for the page?
    • What scope should have the bean?
    • Don't you think that it is better to define a 'visible' variable Boolean (initilized depending on the result of the AM method) for each menu item and how to bind the Visible property of each menu item to the variable respective in the bean in the bean?
    • Or I can loop the result of the method AM setting the Visible property of the menu items? In this case, I guess that all the menu items must be mapped into the bean by user interface variable. Am I wrong?
    • Is it not possible to write a method which, of the AM directly, hide the menus not necessary on the page (so without using a bean)?
    • In general, which are the correct always to hide menu items:
      • (1) before the page is sent to the browser (as "I can do it with PHP);
      • (2) once the page is loaded in the browser (as I can do it with JavaScript)?

If you could give me some more detailed advice... I would be very happy.

    Thank you

    Federico

    (1) its best to make the treatment inside the method. You can return the parameters as normal java method.

    (2) Yes, you can use bean already exists in the project. But better to create a separate bean for this task of menu.

    (3) scope should be request unless you need to persist the attributes between requests.

    (4) Yes it is possible. You can define and initialize a Boolean variable with the results you get from the table based on the menu items should be made visible.

    (5) If you use the approach to point 4, then also you have to loop through the table menu items and set Boolean variables of bean. Yes you are right for the second part.

    (6) I'm not sure about this approach. How will you map it to your menu mode. It takes research.

    (7) before the page is loaded. I share with you links in above post with which you can do this.

    I hope this helps.

    Hallo,

I need to create a page that displays the records of a VO, but I would not use a table.

Instead, I would like to display a form for each record to be displayed.

Forms must appear one above the other and each form should have 2 buttons: one to remove the file/form itself and one to add a new file/form.

When you press the button Add a new empty form should be dynamically added to the page (so that the user can fill) and created related record.

When REMOVE button is pressed the form (which contains the operated button) should be disappear and the record shuould be deleted.

Creations and destruction must be applied only if the user clicks a button on CONFIRMATION / COMMIT.

Maybe this http://digilander.libero.it/flattit82/OTN_FILES/MultiFormPage.png picture can help to understand what I want to do.

    You kindly help me?

    Hi Federico

I was saying that your page layout can be achieved using af: table

    See this image:

This provision is af:table (I think same as yours), just add a column in the table and put all the fields in this column then correct layout allows to design as a provision on the form or group layouts

I'm not saying it's the best approach, but you can try this

  • [JDev ADF] How is made the ' where clause ' default display criteria "all searchable attributes?

    Hallo,

on a view object, I create my view of the criteria customized; I'm going to use it to create a "query with the table panel.

I wish that his beahviour, when I use it to create a "query with the table panel", corresponds to that of "attributes searchable all.

Unfortunately I'm having some trouble in his creation and I would like to see how is made the "object view where Clause" CV "all searchable attributes.

    My VO motion is:

    Select the username, name, RegisteringDate

I would like to create my VC in a way that is the result "query with table Panel:

    UserId | ___ |

    Name | ___ |

    RegisteringDate of | ___ | to |_________|

For each search field, I set a variable binding (PName, PUserId, PRegisteringDateTo, PRegisteringDateFrom).

Each field must be used in the "query with table Panel" only if it is filled with a value.

    You kindly help me?

    Thank you very much

    F.

The criteria to view all searchable attributes is implied all the attributes of a vo. Each attribute is used unless you specify a value for it. The problem with this IS, is that you can not change it.

However, you can build your own RESUME that works in the same way, but allows you to change certain attributes. To do this, you create a new business card and add each attribute, select the operation you want to test the attribute against (equals, start by,...). You do not bind variables for attributes specify. The framework will add them for you automatically.

The only thing that can not this vc is check varies as you want to do when you check "RegisteringDate." To do this you must use bind variables.

Once you have create this EGG and it makes you drag onto the page you can use it as the "all attributes searchable.

follow some above recommendation such as the creation of additional attribute. You will also need the key in your collection, while making the data for your chart.

You must write a custom selectionListener. On valueChangeEvent of box, get the key of a line and add the line at the bean.

  • How to consume the data model library adf for the project?

    Hello

    I use Jdev 11.1.1.6.

I have a workspace Jdev containing the business component (entity objects, view and application module objects exposing the your). This workspace is deployed to a library of the ADF. This library is packed with DB connection details.

I have a different workspace Jdev which needs to consume this library of ADF data model. This workspace is actually just the layer view (no business at all components).
I added the data library ADF model to his draft opinion and it is showing application module and your sub of the data controls.

My question is: how will this project view to connect to DB when running?
It allows the connection of packaged data model ADF Libabry? If so, how?
or should I create a business under this workspace view, just the purpose of connection project? If Yes, then what is the use of connections, including creating the library of the ADF?

    Thank you
    JAI

    Hello

It uses the connection in the library of the ADF. However, I recommend that not save you the database connect information in the library of the ADF. Instead:

-set the ADF BC model to use JDBC data sources
-In the library of the ADF, configure it to contain only the name of data source
-In the view project (the workspace) set up the database connection that is exposed by the library

When the library is imported, verify the Application resources--> connections and right click on the name of the connection that is imported to configure
