ADF Table Refresh / Commit on delete

ADF 11 g in jDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0
So, I have an element of the ADF Table in a collection of panels. In the collection, I added a menu with the menu item to delete the current line. The line is not engaged. Is it possible to do a removal of line in one operation?
Note:
I just medication the type of operation to remove the data on the menu item control.
Action Listener: #{bindings. Delete.Execute}

You can add a refresh for the table in your code by adding a partialTrigger.

  • ADF table refresh in the db table does not

    Hi people,

    I have an ADF table based on a table of db. It also has a box - a transitional attribute. When the button called, kicks historical method of a stored procedure to treat assets selected (from box). After that the ADF table should get updated based on the underlying table of the db. When the button is pressed, it calls a managed bean. Code in it is below. The moveAssets is a methodAction defined as PageDefinition links. Even though I have executequery on the iterator, it is not update / take into account changes in the db table. Could you please suggest me where I'm wrong?

    public void MoveAssetsbtnMtd (ActionEvent actionEvent) {}

    Add the code in the event here...

    BindingContext bctx = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

    Con DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) bctx.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    Note "moveAssets" is the Id of the link actionMethod in PageDefinition

    OperationBinding oper = con.getOperationBinding("moveAssets") (OperationBinding);

    Because the method takes a parameter, send the ToLocation to assign it with ParamsMap

    oper.getParamsMap () .put ("vToLoc", resolveExpression ("#{bindings.")) HZLocations1.attributeValue}'));

    oper.getParamsMap () .put ("Param2Name", "Param2Value");

    System.out.println ("Moving asset for:" + resolveExpression ("#{bindings.") "") HZLocations1.attributeValue}'));

    Execute a method

    Oper.Execute ();

    Look for the error after the execution of the method

    If (oper.getErrors () .size () > 0) {}

    Handle any error here

    System.out.println ("error in MoveAssetsbtnBean");

    }

    Update the table of the ADF of material movement hist table

    After you have moved the selected assets - 20150429

    DCBindingContainer links =.

    (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    DCIteratorBinding iter1 = binds.findIteratorBinding("AssetMove1Iterator");

    ITER1. ExecuteQuery();

    }

    Thank you

    It should be fair enough, yet can you check number of VO lines after the call to the stored procedure to ensure that the data is updated in ViewObject?

    and if t is not then when calling executeQuery on viewObject and then check again

  • ADF:table refreshes its data at the click of the button?

    Hello..

    I have a page with a few buttons and a table mapped to VO. When I click on a button in the table refreshes its data.

    How can I prevent it?

    My version of jdev - 11.1.1.5.0

    OK, so together the partial submit button to true and the partial trigger for the popup to the value of the ID of the button.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Mastering the form with detail tables: questions about Insertion/deletion, commit / rollback, primary key, handling,...

    Hallo,

    I have a panelTabbed with 4 tabs. In the 1st tab, there is a master form while each of the other tabs, there is a secondary table. Each tab "reads" vo.

    Please see here http://digilander.libero.it/flattit82/OTN_FILES/VoInTabs.png

    I created the graphichs/layout and now it's time to take care of the management of the transaction.

    In the master tab / form

    1)

    Here, I would put a button to remove the master record.

    When I delete a record in the primary table an automatism in the database (MS SQL Server) will automatically delete any registration which are linked to it in the detail tables.

    Could the automated system as this causes problems?

    In the Details tabs / tables

    2)

    I would put a button in each row to delete the line delivering. Can I just drag-and - drop, like button, af line: table the operation "Delete" of the VO istance detail used to create the af: table?

    3)

    If Yes, by clicking on the button performs the default delete operation. But if need to perform some actions before you run the deletion (or, in General, any other operation), how can I do?

    4)

    To create a folder that I use Create or CreateInsert? And what are the differences between them?

    5)

    When I create a new record I need set the value of a field of the VO on which is based the af: table. He filed, let's call it RowDetNumber, is not displayed in the af: table, because it doesn't have be filled in by the user. Mut value is calculated and set "secretly" before posting the new line to the database table. In particular, its value must be calculated as

    Select max (RowDetNumber) + 1

    of table_on_which_VO_is_based

    where some_conditions_on_fields_of_the_same_VO

    For example

    The VO selects all of the records that have FkId =: value. If value = 3, VO selection records:

    ID RowDetNumber OtherFields FkId

    1   3     1             ...

    2   3     2             ...

    3   3     3             ...

    4   3     4             ...

    The new record must be RowDetNumber = 5.

    I would like to know how permorm this.

    In general

    6)

    If the database tables have 1 or more triggers I have to take care of something?

    7)

    On the book "development of Web Applications with Oracle ADF Essentials - Sten E. Vesterli", I have read it could be problems when you use tables of database non-Oracle with auto-increment fields.

    The advice of author uncheck the 'Required' box in the model.

    All tables in my database have a primary keys that are auto-increment... so I uncheck the "mandatory"?

    8)

    In general how do I set these fields? I have to put in OT, VO or both?

    Thank you

    Hello

    (1) you will need to re - question child iterators so that they do not look stale data

    (2) Yes. Ensure that the table is PPRed after deleting the line (should happen automatically if ChangeEventPolicy on iterator is set to ppr)

    (3) double click on the button and it creates a bean managed for you. It allows you to check a box to generate the code he would run to remove the line. Everything you put in front of the generated code is your code before

    (4) in the case of tables, use createInsert as it adds the new line to the rowset (transaction)

    (5) suggest to do this use a database trigger and the data attribute value DBSequence VO type

    (6) do not 'drop table' issue in SQL (sorry, couldn't resist ;-))

    (7) If you follow the advice of the author, Yes. What it does, I have it does not throw an exception if a value is missing in the validation of the line

    (8) usually you set whatever it is at the level of the OS and put only things on VO if you want to override the default value for a specific behavior

  • Updating of the ADF Table strangely after delete line

    Hello

    I use ADF Table with ArrayList to the model of the collection. I do not use View object

    < af:table var = value ' row' = "#{pageFlowScope.dataBean.collectionModel}"... "

    I have a SelectOnceChoice in each row of the table and bind their values to a property of the line

    < af:selectOneChoice value = "#{row.label}"... "

    I have a command link to remove each line and the delete method:

    collectionModel.remove (idx);

    The model is correctly updated, but the table of the ADF is not. Somehow, the value of the selection of the next line is set to the value of the deleted row.

    For example: If there two select with values respectively: Foo, Bar. If I remove the line with Foo, the remaining line (initially Bar) is set to Foo.

    If I refresh (F5) the page, it appears correctly. I also tried to use addPartialTarget and partialTriggers but no help.

    Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Previously I use table binding, that's why it has that name.

    BTW, I don't know what's causing the problem. It is related to the life cycle ADF. I put the immediate = "true" for the select box and it is working fine now.

    I create a table of adf using data control. value of adf table depend on the view object. where I bind a variable in the where clause.

    I now give the value of whereClauseParam using the instance of the view object supporting the bean method.

    When I pressed on the method of command button run correctly but adf table not updated and do not display data.

    Thanks in advance

    Manish,

    I prefer not to use createRootApplicationModule in managed bean. See the link below.
    http://radio-weblogs.com/0118231/2009/08/20.html

    So what you can do, it is write a custom app module impl class method that will run the view object, expose it in the client interface.
    When the invoke method custome button click.

    To refresh the data table add PPR (partial refresh the table).

  • ADF:table not refreshing after clicking on the button

    Hello

    I have a declarative component with Add/Remove/save/cancel on a panelbox, who has a facet. At the time of the design, I drop my data components (adf:table) in this facet.

The record IS inserted, because the journal entries in the model point to that, and the sequence that fills the primary key is inserted, but no visual indication. I think that I put all the appropriate partialsubmits and partialtriggers, what I'm doing wrong.

  • Refresh of partial with ADF table Page with the form

    Hi all

    I have an ADF table that is bound to a data control Bean. When a user clicks a row in the table of the ADF, I want the content of the line to display in a form on the same page.

    The table is called 'List of queries' and shows:
    ID of the request
    Name
    Submitted Date
    Expiration date

    The form will display information for the selected applications:
    ID of the request
    Name
    E-mail
    Phone
    Submitted Date
    Expiration date
    Reason for the request

    Please can anyone help point me in the right direction? I need to link my form to the table? Do I need a data control for individual applications? Is there a good tutorials out there for this?

    Thank you!

    User, please always tell us your jdev version.

    It's easy to do. Drag the vo that represents your table on the page and drop it read only table on the page. Make a unique selection of the table. Drag the vo of the data control on the page again, this time a fall as form ADF table below.
    That's all.
    Now, if you select a row in the table selection will change the form data.

  • The ADF Table data validation and highlighting

    I have an ADF table, supported by a VO. Gets the data loaded from a spreadsheet file. There are some required columns marked with the required attribute. the columns do not get highlighted when loaded data are empty. How can I get auto table validated during the loading of data and WITHOUT a commit / submit to the rear end table?

    My requirement is.

    1 load the data into the table.

    2. a way to highlight the rows or columns that have no values (how?) I tried the style inline for column as #{row.bindings.invamt == null?' background-color: Red;': ' background-color: White;'}, but no luck.

    3. validate data from db.

    User, tell us your version of jdev, please!

    If the table is editable, you can add this to the inputText of the column

    contentStyle = ' #{empty row.bindings.PhoneNumber.inputValue?» "{- color: red;':"} ".

    For the PhoneNumber column. If the table is read only the cellular connection is

    So I guess that the connection you are using is not correct.

  • ADF Table: LOV iterator question

    I have a modifiable ADF table, with a column that contains a LOV (select only one). This LOV gets its data from another object from view. We have a LOV maintenance screen that fills view object of the LOV with data.

    My problem is when you insert new data into the view of the LOV object, then go to the ADF editable Table that contains the column LOV LOV new data does not appear in the choice of a Select. However, if I open a new browser window and open the app, I see new data LOV. New data of LOV shows also in the database. It's telling me that iterator of the LOV does not update correctly.

    However, since I have a Table of the ADF, the LOV and all other columns are concentrated in a tree of liaison and, respectively, iterator of the Table of the ADF (in links to the page). So I don't know how I can directly access iterator of the LOV and refresh it.

    How to refresh the iterator LOV?

    We're currently on ADF 11.1.1.3.

    Another Edit:

    Well, I have this workaround works properly... It was a combination of settings that need to happen. I'm not crazy about it because it seems ineffective - but it works.

    (1.) I have exposed the view line class my ADF Table Imp edit object from view (and accessors included). Accessors included so I had programmatic access to view my LOV accessors. I had two Accesors for I can have a LOV switching on my LOV attribute.

    2.) then in class RowImpl, I went on the Get Accessor LOV accessor methods, I've done below, then refresh us the view accessor.

    /**

    * Gets the view accessor RowSet ActiveSmsModules.

    */

    public getActiveSmsModules() {} lines

    All lines rs = (RowSet) getAttributeInternal (ACTIVESMSMODULES);

    rs.executeQuery ();

    return of rs;

    return (RowSet) getAttributeInternal (ACTIVESMSMODULES);

    }

    /**

    * Gets the view accessor RowSet AllSmsModules.

    */

    public getAllSmsModules() {} lines

    All lines rs = (RowSet) getAttributeInternal (ALLSMSMODULES);

    rs.executeQuery ();

    return of rs;

    return (RowSet) getAttributeInternal (ALLSMSMODULES);

    }

    3.): after that, I go to the iterator of my Table ADF Edit (in bonds), the Always value. I don't know why, but it did not work without this parameter.

    4.) then in my ADF Page Backing Bean, who holds the editable ADF table, I had to run this code once when rendering the Table of the ADF gets. Basically, re - run query to the ADF Edit Table iterator. Then refresh the interface component user LOV. The LOV object was bound with a get and set accessor in my grain of support.

    BindingContainer links = getBindings();

    Iterator DCIteratorBinding = (DCIteratorBinding) bindings.get ("UnvPracSmtView1Iterator");

    iterator.executeQuery ();

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (getSmtSmsCode ());

    It would be easier to be able to access just iterator of the LOV through tree of the ADF Table bindings, but it doesn't seem to be a simple way to do this. If someone has another solution to this, please let me know!

  • ADF table column display rounded value

    I have a table that I created by dropping a collection on a jspx.
    He has a column of type BigDecimal. for number of records, its value is as 0.3333333333337. This is defined by the external data source. However, there is no sense for the user to see such value in this column. I want to replace this behavior and display a value as 0.33 in this column where it displays the value as 0.3333333333337 and in general that two digits after the comma.
    How is it possible in 11 1 1 5 jdev

    Hello

    You can try these options as well if you want,

    "#1 option: place a component-> operations palette Converter->""on your field of adf table where you want to cut the number and you can set it as current/number/percentage and also give the number of maximum number of digits etc... (this option is appropriate if you do not want to touch your model layer)

    #2 option: change the level ViewObject.
    Go to your view object, select the attribute and go to the tab "User interface tips", select format type = "number" and to format = "#. #;(###.##) ' (or what ever fits for you)"

  • CommandLink in ADF table does not work

    Hi all
    I'm going to ADF Table, that only one column is with CommandLink if click the link commnad, it sails no coorsponding page or method of a bean. If I give same command link off the table it works well. But I have to spend a few perameters when the button is clicked.

    I'm getting same problem 5 to 6 times, if I delete page page-def did some had it works but sometimes does not. Is there a specific reason for it. Here's the code...

    < af:column sortProperty = "GlobalDealId" sortable = "false".
    headerText = "#{bindings." DsaDealsResultsVO1.hints.GlobalDealId.label}.

    to = "" #{pageFlowScope.isSaDeal} "'/ >

    Even I tried with immediate = "true" partialSubmit = "true" also.
    Waiting for your answer.

    Thank you
    Satya.

    assumes that HRT is linked to the changeeventpolicy of the table iterator. Replace with ppr and check if the commandlink works eventually

  • View and edit the currently selected line of ADF Table in the form of ADF

    I have an ADF Table read-only and the shape of the ADF, which were created from the same data control.
    I need to be able to edit the selected table in the form line (as in the 'Controls data binding to your JSF page' part of 'Development of RIA Web Applications with Oracle ADF' tutorial). However, I can't figure out how to make :(

    I found the following solution on the Web: #{bindings. DeptView1.currentRow.dataProvider.dname} - but it does not, since "the oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowImpl class does not have the dataProvider.

    Sorry for the newbie question.
    Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello

    As far as I KNOW, the dataProvider only is not supported on ADF BC, where the error.

    If you have created the table on my own reading of the ADF and the form of the same data control simply refresh the form based on the table selection is displayed recording selected, for which this just add partialTriggers property to the panelFormLayout and set its value to the id of table

  • table refresh automatic-how?

    I work with the latest version of jdeveloper 11g. My problem is that after I have create an adf table and I try to enter data into the table, run the validation button still remains inactive.if I hit the problem is resolved. I would like to know how can I do the table to present the data(refresh automatically) whenever I have enter data or click the column? I tried the auto submit property on the columns, but I have the same problem. Thank you for your help.

    Hello

    You may need to add all the IDS of editable elements to validate partial trigger button.
    You may also need to define all the components autoSubmit property to 'true '.

    For example, if you have 4 inputtext to then change:
    1. you define all the four autosubmit property to true.
    2. you add all four codes to validate partial trigger button.
    Just add the id of the table may not be enough.

    At least, this way, we were able to define validation, visibility of the button restore correctly.
