  the strange thing is that only a part of the image is displayed and I don't know why! I have test it on bb 9000, so I know it has 480 x 320 and my picture is 480 x 176, so it must be shown.

  OK, I'm surprised that adding text did not work.  Apologies for suggesting it.  Can you tell me what JDE level you try and I have a go here.

  Anyway, the normal way to display a bitmap using a BitmapField.  This should always give you the entire Bitmap.  Give it a try.  You won't have to replace the paint using a BitmapField!

• get the LOV button to fill the correct record

  Hello world. In my form, I have a button that, when pressed goes to the text box correspondent and not do_key ('LIST_VALUES').
  
  It's on a record block multi and say for example I am on the first record of 10 and then press the button on the 5th record down, it would mean that I am eager to fill the 5 records down with the value that I choose from the LOV. However, it fills the first selected record previously. I guess my when shutter release button pressed I must verify that row button is on so that the focus then goes to the record number? If this is the case, no one knows how, I would go all this?

• Question for David Powers on a subset of records display

  I used your fantastic book, PHP Solutions to great success in the development of my own projects.

  My problem is in the rest of your approach to display a subset of the records in my database. In your book (page 333, php solution 12-4), you use the tables, and in my design, I am using CSS. Everything works fine if I display the record set, but when I want to limit the number of records displayed on a page, I can't make it work. I suspect that your method using the table is "autonomous" insofar as the table was created on the various parameters of the subset.

  I don't have an example of a line of code, rather I would like to find a resource that could help me shed some light on this problem. I have tried things for hours today, but can't achieve my goal to limit the quantity x of subsets per page.

  Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

  The fact that the thumbnails are displayed in a table is not relevant. What controls the subset of records being retrieved from the base is the code in step 4 top of page 335.

  $startRow is the current page number (counted from 0) times SHOWMAX (the number of items to display on the page.

  Which translates the SQL on page 2 that said: ' SELECT * LIMIT 6, 6 IMAGES. ($startRow is 1 * 6).

  I tried customizing the form already, but the customer search form has too many fields for the user to search for, so customization form will put all over the places in the form. That's why I saw others recommended to "" Custom DLLs"... I know for my scenario, how to go on the DLL to the client? or any other more effective solution?

  Hi Lygine,

  The customization I sent works this way:

  -Any field where you want to insert the query.

  -If a record is found, when the form opens and the cursor for typing the name of the customer, the personalization field search the contents of the field sales channel.

  -If the content of this field is different from the string "RTL", the Customers form (ARXCUDCI) form is disabled.

  Regardless of the field you fill in to make the request, is a record is found, the customer name field is the first hits of the cursor when the form is opened.

• Question Z10 Q5 SMS blackBerry after the installation of 10.2.1.2941

  After updating the OS 10.2.1.2941 on my Q5, SMS only appears in the hub and displays a white screen when accessing the SMS account. I don't get any sort of indication (ringtone, seeing etc) when I get the SMS. This was to put myself in certain situations... hope, we have a resolution to this problem very soon

  My problem:
  I have a field in a block, which is text_item and is linked to an element of LOV. I want the LOV appears automatically, whenever I tab in there, only when the element is EMPTY (for example when I try to insert in the block). When, upon request, it should show only the value in the field, and user can choose to activate the LOV, by pressing F9, if she wants to. It now displays automatically each time text agenda is a debate (works very well when the user is inserted, but annoying when she questioned the shape and trying to tab thru.) Every time she focuses on the field, LOV is popping up!)

  Now, the user selects a value from the LOV and this value is selected (or rather displayed) in the form.
  
  How can ensure me that all 3 values are copied in in the database table (datablock is based on this table).
  I write the code in which key trigger of the Save button in the form.

  Hello

  During the creation of LOV, you can assign all of the fields that you want to capture in return for value (you can find it at the lov Wizard help > view column tab) so that when the user selects a value all fields return value will get related data.

  Now, you can save as usual, all values will be stored in the database. If your block is based on this table, you do not have to write additional code to save, save forms button will do the work for you.

  Oh! My bad, I thought you are talking about regualt lOVs not popups.

  OK, so that's what you need to do, I tried it and it worked for me:

  your popup LOV > default > type: body of the PLSQL function > and enter a query like:

  declare
  UID number.
  Start
  Select user_id from the uid of the user
  where UPPER (username) = UPPER(:APP_USER);

  This should show username and retune userid.

  Deleting photos: Well, then I'm in my media folder, in the images. I selects a photo and press the BlackBerry button and select Delete. Then he said: it is read-only, and when I remove it, the icon is still there. I tried to turn on/off the device, and it's still there. Thought this one myself. I plugged it up to the Desktop Manager and all of a sudden all the photos I had taken appeared. I was also able to delete using the "BlackBerry" button and then "delete". It doesn't give me that read this option.

  Saving images: So, for some reason I can't save more photos. I don't know even how I saved the first 12 photos I have taken... but now it won't save any more. What the hell happened? xD I have a 2GB card in my phone... surely these 12 images didn't fill in this card... Thought this one myself.   If you select an icon, click the menu button and choose move. You can rearrange the icons. The icons in the top 5 on the list will be those along the boittom when not looking at the full home screen.

  Can try to hit the key ' $' as a shortcut to activate speaker. During a call, you can click the menu button and choose the speaker phone option in the menu

• Dynamic LOV with data to the Web Service Control

  I am currently working on JDeveloper 11.1.1.9.

  I want to implement a form of creation, for two of my form fields do correspond to LOV.

  The first is a LOV returned by a method of the web service (see back picture1) call, it works perfectly (see picture0).

  Hi all, sorry for taking the trouble,.

  I finally found the solution after several days of reflection and try.

  It is, when you select a value in the select list is not to update the current row of the iterator.

  Only, I've defined the current line of my iterator (mapped to the first list) parent according to the selected code in the list and update the second list like this:
