• Frames anchored for images will remain not as place

  Hello

  I am just placing of reinforcement anchored for images in my documents using the pod of roame anchoreed. However, executives will not remain as after I have save and close the document and open it again. I used the slot option current after selecting line sink it in the paragraph. Seems odd, but the way I want it to work. Any ideas on how to improve this? I want executives to pierce the width of the block of text document and place the nearest inside of the link image.

  The anchored frame is not behind the text. It's cropped, which I believe is the default when creating an anchored frame or a chart is important.

  In the properties of the anchored frame, clear (clear) Cropped and change the alignment to the left or right, instead of Center. You can also clear the floating box. These selections should still be there once you save and open the document.

  Maybe you were using another way (I don't know what) to change the position of the frame anchored without also clearing these check boxes. But that's just a guess. Try the above and see if it works.

• FM7.2: Problems with frame anchored in the rotated table cell

  Hello O Experts,

  I am facing a nasty problem with FrameMaker 7.2 for Windows with frames embedded in rotated table cells. I was wondering if any of you have seen this problem and know how to solve.

  The problem is reproduced as follows:

  1 create a table.

  2. Add a small frame anchored "the point insertion" inside one of the cells.

  3. Add a line of text to the anchored frame.

  4 turn the cell by 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.

  Up to step 3, the anchored frame and the line of text behave as expected. Can I choose both the frame and the text line, move and resize. In all cases, they are displayed correctly.

  After step 4, the following occurs:

  • The content of the anchored image appear or is badly distorted.
  • Is no longer, I can select or resize the anchored frame (if I try, FM acts irregularly and wildly moves the outline around the page).
  • I can choose is no longer the line of text in the frame.

  I enclose a file FM (created using integrated model "portrait" of FM) sample that illustrates the problem.

  If someone knows this problem and I hope a solution, I would greatly appreciate it if you'd share. Thank you very much!

  Michael,

  If you turn just the anchored frame itself and not the cell (content) then everything behaves. If you have lots of content for the anchored frame, then place a block of text in the anchored frame, use a suitable paratag in text and only turn the framework anchored (all content will follow along then).

• Frame anchored with automatic shrink film

  I have a problem that I need help.

  I am importing a range of graphics in my document and in my read/write rules, I have all the required properties for the images.  When the pictures are imported, they appear properly (size, etc.) but the default margin of the image is still there.  Is it possible that you can automatically apply the shrink film to the anchored frame (or frame anchored to have a default margin of 0?).

  Some of the images we have are only 5 mm x 5 mm and there may be several of them on a single page.  Therefore, selecting each image and press Esc Maes to shrink wrap will become a very time consuming process.

  Any suggestions that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

• How to add a secondary axis in a chart excel with labwindowsCVI?

  I am currently working on LabWindowsCVI and I treat my data in excel files. I use ExcelReport and Excel2000 instruments to build my data tables and my chart. Track, I use this function:

  In this configuration, column A is X axis and B & C (Y axis) my blood given respective & current.
  My graphics are drawn correctly, but I find a problem, 2 curves are on the main axis and I want a trace on the main axis and the other on the secondary axis. I can not to display a secondary axis.
  This action is possible with LabwindowsCVI function and if so, can you tell me which work?

  Thanks a lot dcl9000.

  I wrote these functions after that to trace my chart and the secondary axis appears .  It was necessary to create a second graphic handle to separate both my curve. Thanks to you, now I know a new function of Excel and I think that I will need in the future.

• Find frame anchor of broken graphic links

  I have a document that when opening wants a new link to an image that has been removed from the file. I looked on body pages, master pages, reference pages, all I can think to locate where the graphic that is looking for the file might be located. Can anyone offer additional places in the file to watch?

  If the file is not part of a book, make a, then:

  Add > list of > figures

  and you will know what it is on the page (if LOF catalogues missing imports, which it may not).

  You can also save as a MIF and get back in the MIF for the name of the object. You need to learn a little about the MIF to decipher where that maps in the document.

  Import references can hide in all kinds of places, including but not limited to:

  • the edge of the anchored frame (had 2 of those today)
  • hidden behind an opaque, something you can see
  • currently disabled conditional text
  • text sank out of sight on the offline page
  • in the flat view, but hidden by color views

  Worse: create a 1 x 1 pixel white object and give it the name of the rogue.

• How can I adjust settings of frame wrap text?

  I have a graph inserted in a body of text.  with 2 standard text wrap options, 1 has too much space around the image, 1 too little.  wayyyy in pagemaker days you could draw the frame inward for the desired but contour that does not seem to have any effect in ID.  Certainly, there is a way, Yes?

  I am trying to create a text block anchored from the results of a search. If I create the framework anchored among a selection it works no problem, but when I do it according to the results of a grep I get error "the text can be moved to its current location. Do you have ideas about how to solve that?

  As a side question... when I create an object through script style, the text always block has a border... Why is this? (I created the style with another script)

  I am trying to create a page that scrolls horizontally in a series of images. I'm able to do this, but I can't dock my company logo so that it does not move when I scroll through the images. I saw on apps it's possible... can someone give me some advice?

  Turn your company into a MSS of two States logo which is set on Auto Play and finally stop Image. Put the MSO logo on the top of your frame with scroll, and you will be able to scroll the image behind the logo. Let us know if it works, or if you are looking for a different effect.

• How to adjust each layer frames so late to the selected position

  How can I drag the keyframes in the lower layers so that they are all on the final stage. When I hit play, the clip is currently shooting until the last keyframe and other layers that do that run the length disappear. How can I better fix?

  I don't know how it works if you happen be using interpolations of the most recent, but to have something else such that it was the end of its Tween I would normally just right click the last image I want to busy and choose the command "insert image."  This image would be 72 for setting that see you the/wanted.  You should get rid of any empty keyframe at the end that most of your layers seems to have.

  For example, for the layer named "layer 2, I frame 67 right click and choose 'Remove image' to get rid of the empty keyframe."  Then I'd frame 66 right click and choose "delete Tween.  Then I frame 72 right click and choose "Insert image" which should translate the content of the frame remaining frame 72 66.

  I wrote a script to automate the formatting of anchored frames, and what follows doesn't seem to work:

• Change line styles in an Excel chart

  I use the tool to generate report in LabVIEW 2009 and need to change the three lines on a chart line styles in Excel.  I found the property node which allows me to change the line style, but I'm not sure what to spend in the Variant.  I tried the name (IE xlDash) and the integer value (that is to say-4115) but doesn't seem to work.  Someone has already tried this and can offer advice.

  I should have posted this more soon but I found my own solution.  I decided to read properties of a chart excel and uses LV, an integer that represents the value corresponds to the place where in the list in Excel is the line style.  That is to say continuous has a value of 1 because it is the first in the drop-down list in Excel, dashboard has a value of 2 because it is second in the list, etc.  A problem with this is that your code is not very robust, as the result may change if Microsoft changes the order of their menu drop-down in verisons them more recent Excel.

  In Excel, right-click and choose Format chart area. In the box on the left, select fonts. Change the font to Arial or something other than Calibri (body theme). Then copy and paste.
