• Polygonal lasso to 14 elements completely tool not functional. Help!

  I had no problem with the lasso tool polygonal to 13 items for about a month and then there suddenly bad (no selection at all, no matter what I did). I bought 14 items, hoping that the problem has been resolved. The polygonal lasso tool is completely non-functional (no line selection). The other selection tools seem to work correctly. I'm under 64-bit Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1, a processor i7 w / 32 GB of RAM, an Asus PB287Q display 4K, a Samsung S22B420 screen and a Nvidia GeForce 960 GTX graphics card. Help!

  Karine - thanks for the suggestion, but I fear that it does not help. I can make selections in the area outside the image to the right of the screen (of course no pixel is selected). Try to use the polygonal lasso on the image itself acts as if I am off limits (no dotted lines). As the works of regular lasso very well, I suppose there are a simple bug in the software that becomes the mouse coordinates wrong even if I use a simple mouse for drawing. Maybe the screen 4K or 64-bit Windows or two screens is originally something to overflow.

  Your suggestion is certainly not the 'right answer '. There is a bug in the code that needs fixing.

• Brush adjustment and gradient tools premises does not not in LR3.2

  I'm not sure what I've done, but these tools have stopped working.  I don't know how I managed on the basis of do this or if this is a bug, but I noticed that the color palette went from the settings tab for these two tools.  If you look on the right of the screen capture tab, you can see that when the box of color used to be, has nothing.  Not even the box with an 'x '.  If I try to use a tool, the whole picture becomes just pure gray.  Any thoguths or help would be very appreciated.  I hope that perhaps accidentally, I clicked on or press a key, that I didn't notice.

  before the recent updates, I could see my passwords on a sign in page of a Web site, by clicking Tools > Security > seepasswords. the Tools tab is now gone. I have used aid and see what your supposed to do, but the passwords are stored in files that cannot be opened by windows! very frustrating

  The virtual machine has been 8.1 Windows Pro and is now 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit.

  In both cases, when vmware tools is installed an education program called Mad Minutes works as expected. When vmware tools is uninatalled the program fails to work correctly, and the system doesn't have to be restarted to see the effects.

  Minutes of crazy looks like it is built against a kind of platform of Netscape/Mozilla.

  What is happening, it's interface does not display data from database what ever is used and some elements of the interface are inactive.

  In fact, the same applies to real computers. As part of troubleshooting why the progam runs on Windows 8 Edition Tablet and not 8.1 (I still have to try real win 8 on a virtual machine) I thought to create a virtual machine if I could quickly change OS.

  Virtual machines have no updates that are applied to them, but the updates has not made a difference.

  As far as VMtools goes, I uninstalled the individual components and the software has continued to run. To remove the items from the installation of tools I launch Installer and choose Edit and then select the option do not use. If the change required a reboot, then I would do so, the applicaton would always run.

  I even had as much as having all the options to not use the value. And I mean each element even tools itself, Mad Minutes still worked. Is I go into Add/Remove programs to uninstall VMtools, the program stopped working as expected.

  When I contacted the people at Mad Minute they said that it was a problem that makes it also randomly on Windows 7.

  As you can see it's quite a puzzle indeed, so I'm tender hand to see if the community might be able to understand this.

  The old computer of my client with Windows XP operating system is getting replaced by a new one with Windows 7.

  There is Adobe Photoshop Album on the former, which is no longer supported. My client has had more than 15'000 images on his old PC I have already copied on the new computer. Now, he wants his albums, tags and stuff from Adobe Photoshop Album, so I decided to install Photoshop elements 13 because of the elements Organizer tool.

  Now that I've seen answers in the forums that sayed that all these information is saved in the catalog file "My Albums.psa", I already found on the old computer and copied to the new. Some people sayed that would work with the option "convert" to post-secondary studies, but it does not work for me, because the PSE does not see the .psa file. So, I tried to convert my file .psa with this tool, but in the middle of the State, he said that he failed and that I should try to fix the EPS file. I'm now stuck here, with several different solutions, and yet I don't know what to do now.

  The restore process, initiated from the new computer will allow you to choose the location where you want to restore your photo folders tree. Normally, the restoration is automatically followed by a conversion of the old catalog to the new format. In your case, you will need to use the conversion utility to resolve the issue of 64-bit.

  If the backup is ok you should retrieve all your information tagging and folder organization. In your case I would choose restore to a new master folder and delete the copies that you did when you are sure that everything is ok.

• Behavior of pen tool that I find a bit odd

  I don't know if it's something that you can change or just the way things are.

  you draw a path and you have the black arrow as your modifier [ctrl], but you want the white arrow, if you switch to it, then go back to the pen and wear on the drawing. but the pen wants to start a new path because you change tools. or you want to turn on or off smart guides half way, same case. This seems a bit out of me, so I wonder if there is something I have not adjusted. the pen tool in PS does not appear you the spirit of switching selection tools: as long as you were on the path is unhindered, he picks up the anchor, it stopped.

  I use LR 4.2 and I have a question about non-destructive Editor, specifically the use of the adjustment brushes.  After that I work with an adjustment brush and then continue with my editing that I can't figure out how to make the settings for which was darn earlier on the adjustment brush area.  With all the other editing features, I can change something, and then later make a change.  For example, I can put 10 highlights and then later I can change bulleted highlights-15 and then later change it to something else.  With things, I did with brushes of adjustment well that I did not understand the technique to do.  If I select adjustment and then brush click the box that I had changed earlier with an adjustment brush, apparently not reselect this area so that I can tweak it.  Is there a way to go back and change the fields selected with an adjustment brush?

  Yes, you can change the parameters of the adjustment brush after the fact by opening the adjustment once Brush tool again and selecting the PIN for the mask you want to adjust. The PIN will then have a black dot in the middle and adjustments for this mask will be in th cursor Panel, you go!

  In General, if you click anywhere with a tool that you run on an image, then hold down the SHIFT key and click somewhere else, the tool will be traced in a straight line from the previous point to the current point.  This is very useful under certain conditions.

  However, I was just with the Quick Selection tool to select the shadow of a microphone, and this is an attempt to drag along the straight line by holding down the SHIFT key has done nothing.

  It would be nice if this tool works like any other and caressing a line between where he was and where he is currently which is clicked if the SHIFT key is down.
