Adjustment panel disappears in

I'm new to CS4, updated since PSE8.  WinXP Pro.  I'm going in "Classroom In A Book" and learn from things I really like.  Tonight, I start the program and press Ctrl-Alt-Shift and reset everything.  I open Bridge and start with a RAW photo as I did these last few days.  I start by opening the histogram and then go to the setting Panel.  If I open the LEVELS, I can only use this function like the adjustment panel disappears.  After completing the task and pressing SAVE, there is no adjustment panel located anywhere.  Must I close CS4 and restart using the command Alt-Ctrl-Shift, then the adjustment panel is displayed again when I open a photo.  I can't find this problem anywhere on the Adobe site... of ideas or HELP out there?  I have no idea!

Hi Wroger,

Your mistake is in the window 'closing' levels  In fact, you close the range of settings.

When you finish the levels settings and want to make a new setting, simply click on the small arrow on the lower left corner of the adjustments Panel, and all other settings will be available.

In the adjustment Panel, 'Basic' section is now gone. He didn't minimize, but is actually left. (My toddler hits something on my keyboard, and it has now completely disappeared). I can't find a way to bring him back. Even if I re - started LR, it still isn't here. (For example, on my Panel adjustment, mine will now... Histogram, then there icons like culture, stain, adjustment brush, etc., then it goes to the tone curve. I can technically do an adjustment brush to lighten or darken some sections of a photo, but the section "basic", where I can lighten or darken the whole photo as a whole, is absent.

Ideas on how to get it back? Thank you!!

In Windows, right click on one of the other topics (like your Panel) Panel and you will see that you need to add a check mark next to the base.  (I think the Mac right click is a click of two fingers on the mouse pad).

  • Want Sleekbook m6: Beats Audio Control Panel disappeared after the update of the 10 anniversary window

    Hello.

After upgrading my OS Windows Anniersary Update 10 last week, my Beats Audio Control Panel disappeared. The audio is not yet, but the EQ settings I had set by beats do not seem effective. The IDT drivers seem to be installed and updated according to Device Manager.

    Thank you

    @hm8

    Hmm...

    • Create a Restore Point
    • Download the Audio driver from the Support page of the drivers of your computer for Windows 10

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager > restart (or search the hardware changes) >

If the driver is available in your file system, it will try to reinstall it at startup / login >

    Check the results

    If no joy:

If HP drivers are available for Windows 10 for your computer:

Download and install the Chipset driver > restart and sign

If the Audio driver is available in the Support page for the drivers for your computer:

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager AND check the box to delete the driver >

    Restart and log in >

Install the driver from the driver of your computer support page.

    Hi all

Thanks in advance for your help.

Today I just change the color of some forms of smart and I don't understand why, but after a while the Fill and Stroke panels disappeared in the Properties Panel. Therefore, I can not change the color and line color and weight of filling in my forms. The only thing I can change is transparency.

I have never use a network drive, but it had the same problems from time to time. Deleting preferences, last possibility is always difficult, because you lose any personalization (you can retrieve some items, but not all). There is no mystery in it: in the Utils to the Captivate installation folder subfolder, you can use a batch file to clear preferences. To keep customization:

  • Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, the curves that I need to enlarge the graphic part, so I could show on a screen at the school. Thanks, Phil

Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, I need to enlarge the graphic part so that I can view on a screen at the school and work from this Panel to expand. Thanks, Phil

You can not. At least, not directly Ben Photoshop. For example, this can be done in Gimp and Photoline, and I had hoped that developers of Photoshop team would have done this allowance now. But no, we're still stuck with a tiny curved panel, which is a real shame, because in other applications, the user can be more precise with the curves.

If you don't need to show close-ups during class time, use Zoomit in Windows, or turn on the Magnifier in the accessibility on a Mac option.

My panels disappeared.  How to make a comeback?  (I all checked, including the histogram, layers, actions and adjustments)

    Hello madeline,

Please check that you have selected the correct "essentials" workspace, if you already correct then try to restore Photoshop preferences to default.

    Steps to follow:

To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

Let us know if that helps.

    Kind regards

  • When I select a local adjustment, how can I scroll the new adjustment panel with the default panels

In lightroom in the develop module. When I select a local adjustment for example the Brush tool or the gradient tool, the adjustment of the particular tool panel appears in the sidebar where I can make adjustments to these tools (see figure below).

Now my question is with this adjustment Panel, it seems to be coming overlap on top the other default settings (for example the "base Panel" - exposure, contrast etc) and when I scroll down on other settings, the Brush tool or the gradient tool adjustment panel is always on top and does not scroll with the default settings.

I would like to change the setting of this kind that the adjustment panel is part of the other default settings in the module development and scrolls with them.

I know this is possible because I saw online videos where this is the case, and my lightroom on another machine for this.
If anyone know how I change the setting for this?

    Capture.JPG

It seems to depend on the actual size of the Lightroom window. Just messing around with the CRD and LR5 onto my retina MBP 15 "with a monitor 1920 x 1200 and the two Lightroom versions scrolls happily adjustments table so that others, but only if the size (i.e. the height) of the Lightroom window is below a certain level. Done on the screen retina, when the display is set to 'Better for the retina', the Panel scrolls with others. But if I change the screen resolution of 2880 native and expand the LR window to fit, then the settings panel does not scroll.

Similarly, if I move LR for the monitor external, same thing, i.e. Panel does NOT scroll when the window to maximize LR, but it does not scroll when I lower the height of the LR window (seems to be around the mark 1600 pixels)

It's the same with LR5 and even on the Windows platform. I think he has somehow based on the height of the Panel adjustments with regard to the total height of the LR window, i.e. the settings panel does not scroll when there is enough space in the right panel to allow the eyes of one or many of the other tools below.

  • The base Panel disappeared from the LR development module

The base Panel disappeared from the develop Module. I've been processing photos. When I went to a new photo to treat, the Panedl base disappeared.

    Any help on recovering it.

    Janice T.

Weird, you need to register, you should be able to view the content as a guest.

No matter, simply right-click on one of the other Panel headers and select the base Panel from the list that appears.

Or go to window > panels > select Basic

    Or do Ctrl + 1 (Cmd + 1 on a Mac).

  • Configurator panel disappears

No idea why the content of a Configurator panel disappears when I leave Photoshop (it becomes hidden) and return? The Committee very well at the start, but when I go to another app and back, the Panel is empty. The name of the task force is there, just no content.

I remember what happened for a while with CS5, but do not remember what the fix was.

    I'm on OS 10.6.8/PS 13.01/Configurator 3

You need to update to 3.1.1 and export configurator and reinstall the exported extension. Exported with Configurator 3.0/3.1 extension will dispear in Photoshop 13.0.1.

  • Panels disappeared but has said that they are open, according to the menu 'window '.

I've recently updated for CS4 on a PC for CS5 on Mac. I hit a few keys by mistake while the PS was opened and half of my panels disappeared. I tried to reset my preferences, tried to restart with Cmd-alt-shift (which does nothing), checking and unchecking the panels in the window menu... nothing brings these signs up. When a watch, that is 'character' and I uncheck in the window menu, ALL the panels go. Anyone seen this before? I'm sure that I hit a hotkey by mistake but have no idea how to fix.

    Huh...

When you trashed your preferences with shift + Option + command, made the GET the little box where you have to confirm that you want to remove the feedback settings?

If not, try again. You must press the keys you launch Photoshop. I garder keep in first, then launch PS theDock.

Weird. It seems that Essentials is chosen but the space of photography work is partially evidenced?

  • Information panel disappears

Every hour or so the information in some of the right info panels disappears and I have to restart Fireworks (version CS4).

Is that what I can do to stop what is happening?

Have you installed the latest update: (do not know if this will solve the problem, but worth a try).

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/Fireworks/downloads_updaters.html

Once updated, see help > topic and confirm that Fw is now version 10.0.3.011.

    and / or try:

    Reset the FWs preferences:

    Close the FWs

Navigate to the location of file, depending on your operating system.

Windows [drive]: \Documents and Settings\ [user] change CS #\English\

    Mac [user] / Library/Preferences/Adobe Fireworks CS #/ en/Fireworks preferences

Delete the file Fireworks CS # Preferences.txt associated with your FW version.

    Restart Fireworks.

The next time Fireworks is launched, a new preferences file will be created that restores Fireworks to its original configuration.
