  Since a few days now, firefox and adobe flash r0 16.0 Reader/Player does not correctly at all.   Oh I should mention. The "never enable" setting neither caused nor fixed crash / "stopped working" problem. It was a temporary cure to limit the frequency of the messages "Adobe Flash Player 16.0 r0 has stopped working" who came. I had 17 activated Version, but when it's a virtually identical message to appear constantly, I did the same, change the setting "enable ever '.

  It was the disabling protected mode which has solved the problem and helped the flash player to work again without stop or raise this message at all.

  The problem that took place afterwards where websites could not see that flash is installed on my computer was solved by changing the "never enable' to 'ask to activate '. I just wanted to clarify so everyone needs to use this thread.

  Email and the password will be the security of your computer, not something for all Adobe products.  You may need to consult the Mac clients if you are unable to determine the required information.

  While you can get Adobe Flash on the iMac, you can't be on the iPad. There are some browsers in the App Store that will emulate flash, I think that one of them is atomic, or something like that. Do a search on the App Store and you should find something.

I used the classic interface of function (I hate windows 8.1), and nothing came. I spent an hour looking for my computer. Nothing. I have re downloaded Adobe Flash Player, and this time the installer came. I thougth it's finally over! When I tried to watch a video on Crunchyroll, my good friend Shockwave Flash has crashed again. I remembered that I had to close Chrome so that Flash start running. On Chrome closing and re-openeing an another Adobe Flash Player Installer popped up and brought me to this link, once again.

  Flash player is bundled with google chrome and you cannot update or reinstall again outside of google chrome. To get the latest version of Flash player for chrome, you must update your google chrome. The current version is 17.0.0.169 and you can check your existing version by visiting the Flash Player Help link and click check now. And if your flash is still stuck on the last version of 17.0.0.169 in Chrome, well want to file a bug in https://bugbase.adobe.com/ with all possible details.

  The Setup file you use must be the installation of a flash drive for any other browser, but not for google chrome.
