Adobe Acrobat 4.0. Reinstallation on the new hard drive, but now receives an incompatibility error

My hard drive crashed and I need to charge my programs. I have dell optiplex. They sent me a disk image hard because I'm under warranty. It runs Windows 7 sp1. Before the hard drive crash, I used my Adobe Acrobat 4.0. I get my new hard drive and am reloading the same programs I've had. Except, I now get an error of incompatibility. This is meaningless to me, as I had win 7 before sp1, I installed Adobe Acrobat 4.0 before, but now it will not work because during the installation, I get an errior of the incompatibility. Are there workarounds.

Acrobat 4,5,6,7 are not compatible with 64 bit systems. 8.1 seemed to work. Since then, we had 9,10,11 and now "DC". You seem to have got a lucky streak.

When I bought the new device, it was loaded with windows 8 but a few days before my hard drive has been corrupted and replaced it with the new hard drive but could not get the real Windows back 8.

Please help me to get my windows genuine 8 back so I could get additional updates downloaded.

    Hello Vishal,

Welcome to the Microsoft community. I appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.

If you purchased a computer with installed OEM Windows 8 on it, there could be a sticker on the Tower, or in the back (in the case of a laptop) with the product key to this topic. If there is no sticker, he can be preinstalled on your system BIOS.

  • Need help please, bios sees the new hard drive but still cant boot from the cd-rom

HI there, Im having some problems here. First of all, I have a Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2 with BIOS A06. I replaced the original hard drive to 120 GB because I received a stop error code with a new 320 GB (000000 x 24 or somethinglike that) but after research I was convinced it was the reader. I installed the new drive and the BIOS sees it under drive as primary drive SATA configuration... It's good, I guess, but now when I go to the sequence of hard drive I get (1. Unknown device (not installed) 2. System BIOS 3 boot devices. (Not installed) USB device) why the drive is not displayed here?

OK, so now when I try to boot from a CD-rom Home XP I get "strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for Setup utility. I can't seem to get around this problem any time now. I can get it to boot from a floppy disk, but not the CD, why is this? The two CD-ROMs are appearing in the BIOS as second master and slaves. IM really stumped on this one, please help!

  • Problems with Windows 7 reinstallation on the new hard drive

I bought a computer a few years provided with Windows Vista. I then almost immediately installed Windows 7 on it as an upgrade. Recently, the hard drive failed and I bought a new one. I then installed the version of Windows 7. However, I have when I entered the product key, he told me that the key was invalid. What should I do now?

If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.

How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

  • Lightroom reinstalled on the new hard drive. Now the unsaved preferences.

After a disaster with Win 10, I returned to Win 7 on a new SSD C: drive. I installed CC Lightroom to the new drive. The old preferences file and catalogue remain on the old drive D:. Now I can open my catalog main within the program, but my other catalogs (drive D :) will open if I go into the folder with the catalog and open them from there.) After opening a catalog, photo changes are saved, but none of my preferences are saved. I have to go to the C: drive? Can anyone suggest how to save my preferences? Thank you

    Hi Amora,.

You can keep catalogs and images on any drive, but yes, it is suggested to install the program on the C:\ drive.

Suggest make you in Lightroom preferences > Presets > click 'File see the Lightroom Presets' > quit Lightroom > make sure that folder Lightroom has full read and write permissions.

Then relaunch Lightroom and check if preferences are being recorded.

  • Re-installing Linksys Connect on mobile after the new hard drive installed

Just reinstall from the disc (or download it from https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html) and activate it with your serial number.

  • Portege R600 - 13 X - how to reinstall the operating system on the new HARD drive?

    Hello

I inherited a Portege R600 - 13 X of my colleague, who hit and killed the hard drive. I installed a new hard drive, but you don't have operating system installation diskettes as he said that the computer has not come with any. To make things even more difficult, I believe that the optical drive may not work. My old R500 had a dead optical drive and after I replaced it (he has not yet worked) I was told it is perhaps something to do with the ribbon cable, which piggy back off the coast of the SD card reader, then to the motherboard.

Anyway, is it possible for me to install Win 7 Professional (I have the original windows key) from a USB flash drive? Or y at - it a specific OS recovery/reinstallation disk that I can download Toshiba?

Any advice would be very welcome
    Thank you
    NJ

I have a Portege R600, and he has been a formidable workaholic, although now showing its age with newer software.

I think these machines came with pre-installed Vista and your friend must have created a set of recovery discs when they got off the machine.

Toshiba did release a drive to upgrade when Windows 7 is released which was available to the buyer within the free upgrade period you. You may be able to find a disk, but you will need the Win7 license to go with it.

If not, your only option is likely to be to buy a disk and license. Of course, you can find the specific Toshiba drivers are missing. If you think about it, it's extremely unlikely that you will be able to locate what is essentially a free Windows 7 download install disc.

Without an optical drive, you need to use an external USB drive and the BIOS to boot from that first force.

I hope that you have succeeded.

    Hello

    Yes

You can change HDDs in the machine even if it's a failure and does not affect your vista license

  • Recover the Original of Windows 8 for the new HARD drive

    Hello..

And, I had upgraded to windows 10 recently.

Please guide me to reinstall windows 8 or 10 for the new HARD drive via online, coz' I don't have any support recovery (DVD or USB).

    And further,

1.) is it possible to reinstall windows for one SSD?

2.) I get all venus applications (application of VGA, Audio application etc.) from Dell with my laptop with the re-installation of windows... ?

    Thank you

If your system already has Windows installed and activated 10 follow my instructions here to directly download and reinstall clean Windows 10:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Windows-10-OEM-and-retail-ISO/

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/a-clean-install-of-Windows-10/Windows-10-clean-reinstallation-via-bootable-USB-from-ISO/

Looks like you're in this scenario.

Note Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 editions are specific. If your system came with Windows 8.1/10 unilingual homepage, Windows 8.1/10 will not be activated.

Unfortunately there is no clear marker for end users to determine the edition so my advise is to try first to try Windows 10 Home, if she does not activate Windows 10 unilingual homepage.

Get a SSD for optimal performance.

Dell have updated drivers for Windows 10 pilots (WT64a) system:

    http://downloads.Dell.com/published/pages/Inspiron-15R-5521.html

See installing the driver recommended order:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/2015/09/27/driver-installation-order-Windows-10/

If Windows 10 was not enabled you must reinstall Windows 8.1 and then upgrade. Follow my instructions here:

  • Hard drive crashed with CS5 on it. Has not been disabled before the collision. Desktopcomputer again loaded on the new hard drive and bu news updates do not work on the new computer.

Hi, I hope I'm in the right forum! I have a laptop Aspire with Photoshop CS5 extended. The computer's hard drive crashed and so I had to get another hard drive! Obviously as the hard drive crashed, I was unable to disable CS5 extended before the crash. I have it charging on the new hard drive and in the meantime bought a desktop computer in which I loaded CS5. Updates have been working fine on the laptop. I tried to update the program on the new computer, but continue to receive error messages. I have read in any problems and think maybe computer laptop harddrive that crashed had CS5 yet on it, as I was unable to turn it off because I didn't know he was going to crash. I am only able to load CS5 on 2 computers and if it is still on the destroyed hard drive so I'm not able to turn it off and so I presume that is why I can not download the updates on my new computer. I hope someone can help me. I want to keep CS5 on both computers. Thanks in advance bunch Kara
