Adobe Acrobat XI Standard, black borders when scanning.

After scan legal-size in Adobe Acrobat XI Standard now each analysed document has black edges.  Looked at the options of using black border removal and drafting, but those who seem to be deleted/not available in standard XI.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall and black edges remain.

In case you face the question again, just set the parameter to scan by default by going to:

1 file-> create a PDF from a scanner-> custom scan

2. click on the button 'Options' and 'Interface Native of the Scanner Show' the value 'User Interface '.

3. now, when you scan, it will show native of the scanner software. You can set the "Default" settings or look for an option "Removal of the border" on the tab "Image Processing" and turn it on

    Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard can still see my old scanner to install.  How to force to see the new scanner to install?  Scanner is recognized by and works very well under Windows.  Acrobat, however, still see Fujitsu fi-6130dj #3.  I need to see Fujitsu fi-6130dj, which is what is listed in the Device Manager.  (Windows XP SP3).

    To provide more details and list what has been done to solve the problem but it is perhaps a better way.

    Background.  When you install a USB to a PC device it is listed in the device as installed Windows hardware Manager.  If you take the USB port of any device and plug it into a different USB port on the PC the PC will install the drivers for this device.  In Device Manager, if you define a variable system environment for the Device Manager to show devices not present you can see all time this can happen.  In this case, there were five facilities in device for a single material element Manager, a Fujitsu fi-6130 scanner.  The first quotation was Fujitsu fi-6130dj, then Fujitsu fi-6130dj #2, Fujitsu fi-6130dj #3 and so on.  Adobe Acrobat was the third instance of these drivers being installed.  Once I've cleaned of all device manager Fujitsu scanner installed I was able to have a single set of drivers installed for this Fujitsu but Adobe has always recognized the third instance of the installation of the driver and I could not understand how force it to see what has been seen in Device Manager, a single instance of the Analyzer installed (with no #3 behind it).

    Steps to try to solve.

    Repair Adobe installation - no luck - can still see the #3 the scanner instance

    Disable, uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reactivation of Adobe - no luck, same behavior as above

    The complete withdrawal of all scan related to software.  This includes drivers for ISIS in Add/Remove programs and all other related software.  This includes also delete the contents of the TWAIN_32 folder located in the root of the Windows directory and also included the scanner the removal of Device Manager.

    Restarted.

    Reinstalled complete sets of these both TWAIN and ISIS scanners - scanner disconnected.  Powered by installing Windows scanner back and let the drivers for the hardware.  Only at this point don't have installed Adobe see the new installation of the Fujitsu scanner and is more looked at for the #3 scanner instance.

    When I had an XP system, I bought Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard. I have the serial number for it. The product and serial number are recorded here in my account. I still have the drive to it and the box with the sticker of the series.

    1 acrobat licenses (permanent permits) are for Mac or Windows, but not both

    2 adobe will convert licenses when they are available, for the current version (9 is many versions behind)

    3 adobe will convert any old products, but insist on an upgrade, if any

    4 acrobat 9 is too old to upgrade and finally

    5 acrobat Standard is a Windows product only, not available for Mac. There are only Acrobat Pro.

    So, I was tasked to replace a workstation for one of the users here at my workplace and migrate his software.

    Disc installation of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard recovered we had and our last serial number known for this.

    When in place, it accepts our serial number and goes through the process.

    When it is finished, all of a sudden the window comes up saying that they key we used was actually an upgrade key and asks us the serial number of the version previously used.

    Problem is, there is no earlier version. The old workstation and Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard installation worked well, no problem with the front key.

    Now, if I forgot to turn off the previous workstation, I would get an error different, right?

    The latest version of Acrobat is 11 with the version also announced yesterday. Acrobat 8.1 (i.e. 8.0 with the latest updates) may install and run on WIndows 8.x, but she certainly was not designed for this. In addition, Acrobat 8 integration with office (that is, PDF files part of Office applications) is for versions of Office dating back to when Acrobat 8 was released. The PDFMaker for the Office of Acrobat features are highly dependent on Office version and as a result, you can't wait for Acrobat 8.x to work with any modern version of office (Office 2007 and beyond).

    Adobe Acrobat 9 has stopped working on my computer and has rather shown error message indicating that there was a problem with my license agreement.
