Adobe Bridge - importing photos

When I import pictures through Adobe Bridge it creates "preview files" or duplicates? I use a massive amount of memory for the amount of photos that I import. When I run the application disk inventory X on my Mac it says there are 30G of storage used by an extract from the Documents.

Thank you

Thank you

Bridge keeps hiding on your computer and it can be of large size according to the number of photos you process.

You can cache Purge bridge

Select cache Purge under preferences > Cache

  • Adobe Bridge cs6 - Photo Downloader 10.11 OSX cannot connect to the camera Canon

    Hallo,

Since I installed OSX10.11 (El Capitan) Photo Downloader (CS6) did not find my Canon EOS 5 d Mark 2 more. If I use 'Photo' of Apple the cameras will be connected and with the original Canon software it works, too. But in my workflow, I use Adobe and I hope that the problem can be solved. Someone else has the same problem?

  • Stop Adobe Bridge to import photos

I recently started using Adobe Lightroom.  So far, I used Adobe Bridge to download photos from my camera to my computer so when I plug in my camera, it starts automatically.  How to stop opening that I now want to use Lightroom from Adobe to download these photos?

Open the Bridge preferences and disable the option of behavior when camera is connected...

How to open the photos in adobe bridge in lightroom cc?

You import these images in LR. LR is not a file as Bridge Manager. You must first import pictures into LR for them is displayed.

Bridge displays all drives on your system, like Windows/Explorer in Windows or on Mac Finder. The only drives and folders that appear in the LR library module are those that you imported images.

IIRC, you can drag images from the window of bridge to the LR or in the LR window icon and which should open in LR import dialog window.

  • Uploading photos via Adobe Bridge

I always hooked up my camera to the computer, Adobe Bridge rises and I transfer my photos to the computer.  Given that I use PS CC this was not the case.  Instead, iPhotos opens and converts them to JPEG.  Don't know what to do.  Have tried downloading bridge CC but not having luck with that.

Is the PS: CC PS or PS CS5? If you use Bridge CC and PS CS5 it may be some interesting questions, but I'm not sure on what I don't have PS CS5 on my computer more and I cannot test this.

Regarding Photos of opening upwards, complain like hell to Apple. I have, and it didn't do much. There are many Forums of Apple who have discussions on this and there is no way to know if Apple is listening. I hope they do.

There is a box at the top left of the photo App that if you uncheck the box, the claim is that the pictures will not download for your photo/card device. The problem is if you do things the right way (to reformat the card in the camera, NOT by erasing the card on your computer), Photos think that it is a new and different map and it will open again Photos anyway. Join the club, it's a real big trouble.

I guess you have raw images in your camera?

Nevertheless, the problem is El Cap. and the Nikon D800. Apple has a bug him have yet to be fixed. It is not that Adobe can do until Apple does its thing.

I was just a few checks and Apple says that their raw (v. 10.22) update sees the D800 (also said he can see my Canon 7 Dm 2, but I have not had problems with my camera images and LR, or Photodownloader (via Bridge) from the appointment.

While a bit of a burden, have you tried to gain access to and downloading of the images via 'Image Capture' of Apple software? Sucky Yes but in the back of my head, I think I've heard people have had success until the normal channels are fixed.

Now, one of the questions that you will have is that the version of Adobe Camera Raw you have CS5 will have no indication as to what to do with raw images, you import them with your D800. However, if you can download your camera raw image in your computer, you can convert them to DNG using the free Adobe DNG Converter. At this point, you should be in good condition. Or at least in as good condition as you if you use Bridge CC and PS CS5. Any chance you can update to the CC offer andLR PS? It's a good deal. Unfortunately, this will NOT solve the D800 problem, which must come from Apple and they Ain 't Talkin'!

Let me know if this helps,

    Thank you

  • Can I copy photos from Adobe Bridge CC on Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.

I used Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 and I have pictures stored on a hard drive in three different places.

    1. on Adobe Bridge CC 2015 (DNG and JPEG Formats)

    2. on a folder full of photos (TIFF and JPEG Formats)

    3. on a ship (JPEG format) file

The photographs on the completed folder and the folder of the ship are also all recorded on the folder Adobe Bridge CC.

I want to start using Lightroom CC 2015, but I'm not sure if I should copy all the photos in Adobe Bridge CC on Lightroom CC 2015 and if so. the best way to go aboiut it.

    Hi LINGARBAY,

Bridge CC is only a sort of explore to manage images, but for Lightroom, you need to import the images in the catalog and work on it.

Please let me know if you need any other assistance.

    Kind regards

  • Photo Downloader Adobe Bridge recognizing only no camera after upgrading to El captain in Mac

Recently, I upgraded my Macbook Pro to El captain, since then my Adobe Bridge Photo downloader no longer recognizes my cards or camera. It is not the USB cable as iPhoto wants to quickly download photos I want to use. Anyone have any idea if it is a small problem with the new OS or would be - something else and if the former there is a fix for it soon?

Discovered Adobe Bridge CC with Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) does not work with many USB devices to import images (including iPhone).

Apple said: "the USB stack is completely redesigned to improve stability and performance compared to Mac OS 10.10. Applications and third-party drivers for vendor-specific USB devices may require modification. "This is something APPLE has changed, that I hope that Adobe can answer, because now there is no real solution. I use this work around:

    • Import images with Photos Apple app

      • Choose file > export > export Original unmodified
    • Save the files where you want
    • Batch rename the images and add metadata in Adobe Bridge

Adobe has released this technical note on the bridge issue help: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/bridge-and-el-capitan.html

It is a solution for some devices based on Android, you can change the mode of the PTP/MTP device in storage mode USB mode/mass (see the instructions on how to do this with your device provider). This article about the same problem with Photoshop Elements was given instructions: connected - https://helpx.adobe.com/elements-organizer/kb/elements-organizer-does-not-recognize-some-d mac-os-10 - 1.html

  • How to import Adobe Bridge over Lightroom 2015CC folders?

How to import files Adobe Bridge on Lightroom 2015?

There is nothing 'special' on bridge records. Bridge simply shows the folder in its location on your hard drive. To import into Lightroom, you use the Lightroom import dialog box, find the folder wherever it is on your computer system and import using the 'Add' option that can be selected at the top of the dialog box import.

Could you please post a screenshot to illustrate the problem?

Not turning off"use graphics processor" in the Performance preference and restarting Photoshop have a bearing on the issue.
