  You can not.  The new Adobe Animate is the updated Flash version; Animate edge was a completely different software.

• Construction of a folio my edge OAM file INDD

  I placed the OAM of my edge animation file and went through the steps of creating a 'folio a' a, but when I saw in Adobe Content Viewer all I get is a static page that disappears when you click it. Obvious what I'm missing?

• Edge .oam file is not correctly displayed in the DPS.

  Here's the scenario.  I have an animation I created for an article of DPS (Digital Publishing Suite) but it does not display correctly and I can't understand why.  It displays is too large and goes past it's bounding box or it displays too little.

  Article DPS is set up for a 2048 x 1536 retina display.  The animation was created at 400px by 100px and saved on a file .oam must be deposited in Indesign to use in a DPS application.

  The problem is that when placed in Indesign placed animation does not display correctly.  If you change anything in Indesign in the "Folio overlays" Panel under "Web content" animation will play much too large and extend beyond the bounding (Image 2) box.  If you check the scale to fit in Indesign too small poster.

  My question here is that nobody knows if I'm missing a step on the edge of Adobe that may cause this or if you know why he would do this in Indesing would be great as well.

  I see not all the parameters of resolution on the edge and normally pixels are pixels and resolution is not important but it when the PPI is higher on the iPad.

  Animations do not work it's just sizing.
  

  The first image shows how it should look like at the end of the animation. "(the classic) is the animation part."

  The second image shows how it displays when it is set to no change in Indesign.

  The image below shows how it displays when placed in Indesign with the "content to Fit scale" checked in the "Folio overlays" Panel under "Web content", too small!

  It is a known problem with the creation for the retina in DPS, I met last year, when the retina is first released.

  If you try to save in pdf folios go png or jpg. But the best practice with DPS is at the 1024 x 768 folio woth beginning and create assets to a higher resolution.

  try to create the dps page 1024 x 768 see if she double size then, bet that's not :-(

  Please follow the steps if you see black pictures after importation into Lightroom below:

  1. Turn off apply tone auto under Lightroom preferences settings
  2. Restart Lightroom and then import images again.

• Adobe Edge (with video) + Sizmek does not load on the first attempt in Firefox

  We tried to get a series of Adobe Edge HTML5 with video to work with Sizmek and Firefox and have had no luck.  We did a series of works autour and nothing seems to work.

  But if we do a sequence of basic Adobe Edge it works fine, but as soon as that video is attached it crashes and does not do anything (on initial load).

  We found this banner of Adobe Edge with video works with all browsers except Firefox unique.

  So far, we tried the following solution.

  What has not worked

  • Move the code of compositionReady edge of Sizmek at the head of the document.
  • Mix video load order in the file edge.js
  • Reduces the size of the video thinking it could be a weight of file problem.

  What worked

  • Deleted the video in the Edge file and have basic animation and it works very well.
  • Removed the Sizmek EB codes and it is loaded with videos, but is of no use to us because it does not respect the framework of ad Sizmek platform.
  • Re-build the banner using only the model Sizmek with greensock and works perfectly.

  Have contacted us the support of Sizmek and crossed a few developers and they said that the issue is in the ship's library and the compositionReady event is not dispatched to the first loading of Firefox.

  They have also done a few tests and think it might be a big problem with Adobe Edge and asked that contact us Adobe to find a solution.

  Can someone please point us in the right direction or other solutions of workaround to get the edge work "reliable . ” with Sizmek and Firefox?

  We know that we can build with just all the code, but our digital designers are not coders and need a solution to animation of timeline as opposed to a text editor. (With "Edge animate the logical progression of Adobe Flash for them")

  .. .on investigated further. including an ogv version seem to fix this problem for some reason any (FF should play mp4s without problem).

  The VGO must be first in the order of the source. I think that this must be done manually in code.

  I'm a beginner to Adobe Muse and animated in Adobe. I am trying to export an animation I made to animate and use it in Muse. I exported an OAM file and checked the background transparent in the settings to animate publish. When I bring it in Muse, it looks good in the workspace, but when I export to display in the browser, the BG is white. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  Why the hell can't figure out how to get a background transparent for my . OAM file in Muse? I published in CC animate with the background transparent/Stadium controlled parameters. I have tried workaround HTML people have posted and who does not either. When I published as a .swf file, it worked on my desk, but not on my iPhone. Why is - that so much to ask? I feel like this is a very important to have. The answer shouldn't be complicated. If this is the case, it's a real shame. I would appreciate any advice on this. I lost my entire Saturday afternoon trying to figure out. Thank you.

  To export files transparent OAM of HTML5 Canvas in CC documents to animate, you can try this:

  Add the extract of the following code in the Actions Panel on the first image before exporting it:

  Steps I do in Adobe Edge animate CC

  1.) create new

  2.) I click on + sign article library > > Scripts > > add a JS of URL file...

  URL that I add is: http://www.edgehero.com/edgehero.js/1.2/edgehero_1.2_min.js  (URL is taken from site: Edgehero.js )

  I add this link:http://www.edgehero.com/edgehero.js/1.2/edgehero_1.2_min.js to box that occures after i click on Add JS File from URL

  

  3.) I go to Edgehero.js and from there i scrol down to section named as Media - video Html5 / Html5 audio

  I drag and drop a video from the side straight to rectangle window and the side left, I clicked on loop playback and it started working as it should.

  Hi Don,

  Files of Muse has a .muse extension and this can not be opened in Adobe Edge animate. What you can do is export your file to .muse in HTML using Muse.  Now, open the html file that muse generates for its pages in Adobe Edge animate.

  From there, you can publish the html file in a file .oam using Adobe Edge animate.

  However please make sure of course that you have changed the settings for publication in Adobe Edge animate as it is also creates a file .oam in your html file when it publishes.

  Please let me know if you are able to do this.
