They have worked fine up until today. I went to republish the folio - and all transparent have black background - they never had these before, are designed with transparent backgrounds and have always worked very well... They also all have transparent backgrounds (in the Panel inlays of the folio) but as soon as you take the files in InDesign - files all go black. Even when you preview files on the edge - they appear as they should. That is when he begins to interact with InDesign. This issue has been around for centuries. There must be a way to solve this problem - otherwise, what's the point of the edge?

• Edge .oam file is not correctly displayed in the DPS.

  Here's the scenario.  I have an animation I created for an article of DPS (Digital Publishing Suite) but it does not display correctly and I can't understand why.  It displays is too large and goes past it's bounding box or it displays too little.

  Article DPS is set up for a 2048 x 1536 retina display.  The animation was created at 400px by 100px and saved on a file .oam must be deposited in Indesign to use in a DPS application.

  The problem is that when placed in Indesign placed animation does not display correctly.  If you change anything in Indesign in the "Folio overlays" Panel under "Web content" animation will play much too large and extend beyond the bounding (Image 2) box.  If you check the scale to fit in Indesign too small poster.

  My question here is that nobody knows if I'm missing a step on the edge of Adobe that may cause this or if you know why he would do this in Indesing would be great as well.

  I see not all the parameters of resolution on the edge and normally pixels are pixels and resolution is not important but it when the PPI is higher on the iPad.

  It is a known problem with the creation for the retina in DPS, I met last year, when the retina is first released.

  If you try to save in pdf folios go png or jpg. But the best practice with DPS is at the 1024 x 768 folio woth beginning and create assets to a higher resolution.

  try to create the dps page 1024 x 768 see if she double size then, bet that's not :-(

  It's the behaviour expected of an OAM file, it does not show in the view Design of Muse.

  You can add a fill color to the animation in the Muse, to keep track of its location, and when you're ready to publish your site, you can remove this fill.

  You use the Office Viewer or viewer of the ipad? The Office Viewer uses an outdated version of Webkit, so it will not always make your content properly. Be sure to test it first on the unit.

  You can not.  The new Adobe Animate is the updated Flash version; Animate edge was a completely different software.

• Why the .oam files do not work with interactive pdf?

  I use InDesign CC 2015 11.0.1.105 to export the interactive pdf file and I use Edge Animate 6.0.0 to export the .oam file.

  I import the oam in InDesign and position the overlay to AutoPlay with a slight delay. The window preview shows the animation work, but when you export as a interactive just the image of the poster is displayed. That I'm viewing the pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  Am I missing something or is the latest version of InDesign does support this feature more?

  My understanding is the fact that the OAM files do not work on an iPad in iBooks is a bug in the iOS7 software or iBooks for iPad.

  If you view the EPUB3 FLX files in iBooks on a Macintosh in Mavericks (Mac OSX 10.9), the animation of the OAM will play well.

  I have a bunch of animations, I worked on the edge, about 2-3 seconds each, although only full screen (2048 x 1536) for iPads for its use within the DPS. The problem is each of the OAM files is greater than 40 MB! Here are the simple fading animations, without large images, and small SVG text, so I have no idea how to make it tighter, but need to bring the size down quite dramatically, as animations fall flat on their face in DPS. Help, please!

  Everything in your library will be in the file OAM. If there is no property that you do not use, you should remove their and your OAM file and then publish it again. Otherwise, check if you can lighten the weight of your assets, assuming that you have images that could be more compressed, etc.
