  Used Firefox with Flash v.11disabled Real Player 14 all the plug-ins, turned off the safe_mode for Flash and Youtube worked properly. Then Firefox upgraded me to 16.0.2 and Youtube does not work. When I click on a Youtube video, it does not give me any error message, just a white screen.

  Demoted Flash v.10, still does not work. But Youtube works OK with IE and Chrome.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

  I'm so frustrated.    I have a new HP laptop and have had problems since day one.

  I was getting a green screen during video playback.    Came to this site and saw that I have to install adobe flash uninstaller and then reinstall adobe flash.

  Tried once and it worked for a few days.    Came back today and decided to uninstall adobe flash again and reinstall.   I uninstalled and now it won't let me not reinstall because it affirms that this computer comes with adobe already installed.

  He takes me to their test page and said that I have already installed.   BUT I did not and it does not work.

  What now that I do, I'm about to throw this laptop in the river.   Help, please.

• Updated to v24; now Adobe Flash does not work. Any ideas?

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I've recently updated to Firefox v24, and now won't play Adobe Flash files (window/screen is just blank - no error message). First of all, I realized it when you try to play a file in Flash on YouTube. I have the latest version of Adobe Flash (11.8.800.168) installed. I reinstalled Adobe Flash, and after installation, the little graphic that appears in general, never did. just the small screen has remained empty.   I was using another browser and deleted.  I am now using IE9. I have Adobe Flash installed, but it no longer works in IE 9.  Before using the other browser, it worked.  Anyone know how I can fix the problem and replaced Adobe Flash in IE9?

  Flash does not work on some web sites. I never had a problem before with flash on FF in the nearly 15 years that I've used FF. Recently it has stopped working for some reason any and on some flash sites does not, NHL.com and site of kid Herotopia being just two of them. I updated FF, Adobe flash, the reinstalled version them repeatedly deleted all the files that have been stored on my laptop; that is, profiles, saved favorite nothing that I could find in user accounts and in the local app, low local and roaming data folders. What is strange, is that I can't set the local storage for flash either. When I visit the Adobe site to view the Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager I can move the scroll bar, but cannot check the: allow third-party flash content to store data on your computer.   Thanks for posting this screenshot.  Very useful.  Yes, indeed the pepflashplayer.dll file should be here.  It is the presence of chromium in the Flash Player file. Please, try the following:

  • delete the 23.0.0.166 directory
  • launch chrome and go to Flash content
  • it download and install Flash Player, in the same directory of Data\PepperFlash of ~\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User?

  Note: AppData is a hidden directory, if you do not see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files to view the hidden files/folders.

  We have this magnitude within Google and your screenshot will be very useful.  I'll transfer it to them.

  1. go in topic: addons

  2. make sure that "Shockwave for Director" is present

  3. look for "Mozilla ActiveX Control and Support of plugins"

  4 disable

  5. refresh the page

  It worked for me to get stuff flash shockwave works again.

  Edit: shockwave flash worked perfectly for me with my old together until I updated to 13, so it is certainly the issue of Mozilla, and after finding this solution, I'm sure of it.
