Select Preferences, on the left side, select Download and registration.  Uncheck the enable Web download and registration for these box installed browsers. Click OK, and then restart Firefox. Flash Player should now work for you.

  Hello. I have a problem with Flash Player on YouTube. It crashed it many, many times so I decided to open this thread to let you know on this subject, if you do not already know.

  Now, I have no report of accident or something it crashes after a while. Even if it does not crash report, I understand because YouTube videos do not work and I had only a black screen.   My computer has the AVGantivivirus2011. I removed it by order of bleepingcomputer.com everything works very well and seems to be the free virus except my flash drive does not work. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, restarted, etc.  When I try to access a program requiring flash player it says that I need the updated version. I've went to the Adobe site and downloaded. It is said that it is loaded successfully. I reboot and then the program says the same thing. I'm not a computer expert, but (I think) Im a pretty smart person and can follow directions (if in plain English) LOL any help/advice would be so appreciated.   I'm on Windows 8, IE 10 where Adobe Flash is already installed and therefore does not appear in my control panel.  When I click on a link in an e-mail to a site that requires Flash, he ALWAYS asks me to install Flash.  I know that I can copy and paste the Web site when I go to my office, but it seems that I shouldn't do that.  I use a g6 Pavilion.

  I have conntacted HP Support cat this morning and it seems that the problem is now resolved.

  We went to tools in IE and clcked manage add-ons and made sure that everything which was referred to in Adobe has been activated.  Yes, in my situation I haave active helper link Adobe PDF and shockwave flash on.  We have also checked the box for all websites in compatibility mode.

  Before that he had me download Firefox, however everything that we did after doing this we did on IE, so I doubt that had nothing to do with implementation.

  He said that MS does NOT haave a fix for this problem at this time.

  I have problems after installing Adobe Acrobat XI and ActiveX of Flash Player.

  Open a PDF file with content flash in Adobe Acrobat XI results in a message saying that Flash Player is not available and must be installed, but it is already installed.

  Most, if not all of the machines affected hereby are on Windows XP.

  Any ideas why this would happen?
