  Flash Player will not install on my computer. I'm so frustrated and I spent hours on this site of the mansion is very confusing. I had Flash and everything was fine. Then one day, I did not Flash, I don't know why. So I tried to install again. I followed all the steps very well and of course, everything goes well and I thought that Flash has been installed successfully. Nope. He isn't here.   OK problem solved. All I had to do was check in Safari preferences. I learned this through a tutorial posted here by another Member. If you are having this same problem I had go to the Security tab in Safari preferences and check the box that says "Allow Plug-ins".

  chrome and IE works.  FF is the only problem. When I get to the window that says: "do you want the following program to make changes to your computer" I hit Yes and nothing happens.   I had the problem. For some reason that I can't remember, I unfortunately uninstalled Adobe Flash Player as he tried to update all my free downloads from Adobe. I was able to install is no longer Flash Player (of course I always uncheck the box of McAfee) and got the same message as explained above. So in Firefox only, I could not see videos. It was so frustrating! I have tried many solutions and researched and tried again a few days, but nothing helped.   I installed Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave Flash, V17.0.0.188 several times trying to update my plugin since the evolution of Windows 10 about a month ago. I don't get an error message, but when I return to mozilla plugin check, it shows that I need to update the reader, as if I have not done. Does not reboot the PC (as well as the shut-down/re-start).

  It seems that you have a version of Flash player, 17 and 19 installed according to the directions of your system more on tight to your post details. When you have an older version installed with current version installed on the system can still get used to the place.

  When I go to a site that contains Flash content, it says "a plugin is required to view this content" and there is a link to install the plugin. In addition, there is a message at the top of the page that says "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" with an option to "Install missing Plugins".   THEN, I go to "Manage my Add-ons" thinking maybe I need to activate the plugin. There is no plugin Flash (or Shockwave) listed on any of the menus - it is as if it does not exist.

  I downloaded the latest version of Java because I read somewhere that Flash requires Java work; I installed the "add-on Compatibility Reporter" so I could force Java to be enabled. It made no difference whatsoever, best I can tell.

  I also went to the Adobe homepage where you can see what version of Flash you use (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) and it does not even show that I have installed Flash. In Internet Explorer, it shows that I have installed Flash, but it's the previous version (but this is probably due to the fact that I downloaded Flash in Mozilla, not IE, and they use different modes in each browser - so an update that you download from a browser does not necessarily apply to the other browser).

  So in summary: I don't know what on Earth is wrong here, but I'm about as frustrated that I've never been in my life. I don't know why the installation of Adobe Flash is said she is successful (it sleeps for me?), but there is no plugin appear in my menu manage add-ons, and I googled all the possible combinations of content in this message and have not found a solution that works yet.

  Second, get the 32-bit versions of the following. Why? Unless you use an unofficial Firefox 64-bit version, the regular Firefox is a 32-bit browser and needs 32-bit Flash.

    • Download/SAVE two ways, close all browsers and then install.
      • 32-bit Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
      • 32-bit Flash Player plugin (all other browsers)

  Third, test Flash on websites where you had a problem before.

  If this does not work, my last suggestion for you is to follow the instructions from Adobe for troubleshooting. I don't know what's happening with your system, which could possibly be the cause of the problem.

  How to do a 'clean' Flash Player installation in Mac OS X

• Flash will not install, it says its already running when it's not

  Flash Player has attempted to day then chrashed, then the update wouldn't load because he was told that only one instance can be run at a time. I turned off the computer, uninstalled and deleted every bit of flash player, that I can find but when I try to install it again it still says that only one instance can run at a time and will not be installed

  I use Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, if someone could tell me how to load by the installer, I would be very grateful.

  In this case you can do is go to the specified location i.e C:\Windows\system32\macromed\flash\flashutils10o_activX.exe try renaming the c:\windows\system32\macromed folder.

  Also perform the steps:

  1. When will the adobe.com-> click on get adobe flash player-> you will get an option different operating system or browser

  2. first select the operating system and then step 2 would be to select the 2nd option flash player that would be flash player 10.2 - another browser

  3. click on the Download button

  Go to the download location on your system and install Flash Player normally.

  Try these steps and let us know if it worked or what message get.

• Adobe Flash does not work with firefox

  Used Firefox with Flash v.11disabled Real Player 14 all the plug-ins, turned off the safe_mode for Flash and Youtube worked properly. Then Firefox upgraded me to 16.0.2 and Youtube does not work. When I click on a Youtube video, it does not give me any error message, just a white screen.

  Demoted Flash v.10, still does not work. But Youtube works OK with IE and Chrome.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
