I love firefox videos esp. Much better than the internet explore and chrome. Very stable and smooth. He played very well and then crashed. I uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla firefox and adobe flash player, but still could not play videos you tube, or golf revolution, etc. I took a screenshot, but I do not see an attachment to send you. It says I have to update adobe flash player or adobe flash player is required for video playback, which I have already done several times but it still doesn't appear in my firefox plugins. Have you downloaded the Flash Installer via this page?

Do you see the Flash plugin in its installation folder?

You should find the plugin Flash (NPSWF32_11_X_XXX_XXX.dll) file in this folder after you run the installer of Flash:

    • 32-bit Windows: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
    • 64-bit Windows: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:

    • an ActiveX version for IE only
    • a plug-in version for most of the other browsers including Firefox
    • On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.

You don't seem to have the Plugin for Firefox installed version. If you did, in the Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash (version)". If 'Shockwave Flash' is there and is disabled, click on the button "activate".

  • Adobe flash does not work on Chrome

I switched to google Chrome as my browser and when I press "Restart in Windows 8 mode" I get a message that Adobe flash works on the desktop.  Any ideas?  I downloaded again Flash and checked chrome, but all they said was that it only accepts the flash plug-ins.  I downloaded the plug, but it does the same thing.

Google designed so that Chrome can not use Flash runs in Mode 'Windows 8 '.  If you want to use Flash, use the same menu of Google Chrome and choose to "raise on the desktop".

We are an android Tablet OEM in which we would like to pre install Adobe Flash Player in our Android tablets.  Are there any certifications or licenses required to legally import the product in the USA?  If so, how do I find more information on obtaining them?

  • You Tube is not playing video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update

You Tube and other sites do not play video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update for both. Adobe Flash works on other sites but not You tube and sites that can have embedded videos from You Tube, I'm not sure.

Adobe Flash not crushed and no error message is visible. All that shows is a black screen for Flash video. Make a right click of the screen shows only a non-interactive 'a film has not loaded' and the clickable link to the home page of Adobe.

I spent an hour trying things as suggested for past problems similar to this, but none helped.

I sent sad face, letting you know what I think of the last update for this reason which explains pretty much the same thing, as I have said here.

I have no other info but if I had a form any entry and queries you I might be able to provide more.

I think the Flash 12.xx is a phantom. I can't find it on my comp. Only 13.xx shows anywhere but on the Pugins page in Firefox.

Weird. I have no idea why it does that. Your list of details of the system shows that 13.0.r0 Flash.

About the .Js I cannot find a User.JS in the profile folder but ther is a user.bk and other files that have.json. Should I do anything with these?

If you don't, that's okay. Leave all of the files.

Does disabling HA in Flash and Firefox work better for you now or even not playing it?

Make sure your firewall is not something Firefox blocks.

This happens in other browsers as well?

The site appears your version of Flash player and your operating system?

  • I'm always on Adobe Flash 10.3. The latest version of Firefox will support the last Flash?

I have Windows Vista... For a while, whenever I got a new version of Firefox I tried to upgrade Adobe Flash and in any case it crashed so I stopped to do so. I asked this question to you more than once before and rec have never a response. Saved Flash 10.3, have reinstalled, which left and I go kind of happily on my way. Unfortunately, as you know that there are some videos, I can't access with 10.3. So, that being said... Will be the latest version of Adobe Flash work with the latest version of Firefox?

Wow, I can't believe that you have saved this old version of Flash for so long. If Flash player is crushed you probably had to disable hardware acceleration for Flash Player. Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

With regard to the latest version, Yes. The latest version of Flash works fine on the latest version of Firefox (29.0.1)

  • Apple made the new version of Adobe Flash, the former has been compromised; Firefox is not compatible with the latest version of Adobe Flash, can you help me?

The new version of Adobe Flash works in Safari. Apple thought that the old version of Adobe Flash had compromised safety, so Mac users can no longer use the old versions of Adobe Flash. A few settings in Firefox are not letting the update to the latest version of Adobe Flash work.

    New version: 11.6.602.167

Please see that 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox
