  • search engine problem

    I'm currently building angina is looking for an application that I'm developing. I need my list to be updated every time there is a change in the text of the entry (BACKSPACE or extra character) box.

    I have no errors, but the function doesn't work the way I want it.

    The function compares the letters in a specific position in my 2 strings (charAt() (j)) and does not take into account previous letters, more it deos not "up-to-date" but not adding new strings to my list.

    Code:

    var name: Array = new Array ("lior", "dudu", "Nimrod", "nana", "linor", "shahar");

    ITB.addEventListener (Event.CHANGE, itemChange);    ITB = input text area

    itemChange function (event: Event): void {}

    myList.removeAll ();
    var str:String = ITB.text;

    for (var i = 0; i < names.length; i ++) {}
    var isMatch:Boolean = new Boolean;
    isMatch = true;

    for (var j = 0; j < str.length | isMatch = true; j ++) {}
    {if (Names [i] .charAt (j) == {str.charAt (j))}
    isMatch = true;
    myList.addItem({label:names[i]});)
    }
    else {}
    isMatch = false;
    myList.removeItem({label:names[i]});)
    }
    If (str.length is {names [i] .length)}
    return;
    }
    }
    }
    }

    Any help will be welcomed.

    If the intention is to match groups of characters then you should conduct tests to groups and not characters.  Here's a way to do this...

    var name: Array = new Array ("lior", "dudu", "Nimrod", "nana", "linor", "shahar");

    ITB.addEventListener (Event.CHANGE, itemChange);

    itemChange function (event: Event): void {}
    myList.removeAll ();
    var str:String = ITB.text;

    for (var i = 0; i)< names.length;="">
    If (Names [i]. IndexOf (STR) > = 0) {}
    myList.addItem({label:names[i]});)
    }
    }
    }

    Which will match any word containing the input textfield string.  If the intention is to match the word at the beginning of the word, you can then change the conditional test for be...

    If (Names [i]. IndexOf (STR) == 0) {}

  • I had a few problems with the search engines and history

    My default search warning back to Yahoo after a reset on my computer. Close Firefox keep one to change but by restarting the computer, it takes.

    I can't open the sidebar history. The option "view the history of your" opens its tab fine (the drop-down menu that says 'Show History Sidebar', 'clear recent history... ("ect.). But, when you click on the "Show History Sidebar", nothing comes. Can I use the "Show history" option, but the sidebar does not open for some reason any.

    I just finished with a complete analysis of the Microsoft Safety Scanner and it said not that there is anything wrong. I have not reset the computer again to see if something has changed although after the factory reset (see the 2nd paragraph) it seems returned to Yahoo (search engine he kept going to happen).

    I open the history tab in the menu of the toolbar, and everything seems fine here. I also had him always use private off all first browsing mode. After activating the option clear history when Firefox closes, I ended up having to reset to factory settings (things he saves were saved isn't really a problem) that doesn't seem to fix the problem with the sidebar of history not to come.

  • tried to change search engines in firefox 34 and lost all of them and could not get back them, was finally back to version 33. how to fix this problem

    I didn't have Yahoo as my default search engine. I want to be able to choose as always. When I clicked on a different search engine I've lost all the features of the search bar and it became white. I, ve returned to 33 until I can get a fix for the problem. I would appreciate your help.

    If you want to restore the window previously used independently to manage search engines, you can enable or disable this pref to false with a medium on the subject click: config page.

    Subject: config page: browser.search.showOneOffButtons = false

    You will need to close and restart Firefox to make it work properly.

    In the address bar, type Subject: preferences #search < enter >

    If you miss to spend from the search engines without going

  • problems with the firefox search engine

    When using my hotmail email today when I I closed it got stuck with the msn home page, I have managed to recover the firefox home page, but the search is made by BING, I don't want that I want as before google. It seems if be produced since firefox 18 was delivered

    Can any body help to get this back as before

    Try to reset default preferences with the SearchReset extension:

    Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).

    You can check the pref browser.search.defaultenginename (s) on the topic: config page to see if it has the value of Google by default.

    If there is a problem with the search through the default value: home page and then try to reset the search engine used on the subject: homepage.

    Reset the pref browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone through the context menu by default on the topic: config page and close and restart Firefox to restore the on: default home page.

    1. Open the topic: config page through the address bar
    2. Type in the filter bar: mstone
    3. Right-click on the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone line, and then select: Reset
    4. Close and restart Firefox

    If this did not help, then remove the button Delete the chromeappsstore.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder and repeat the foregoing.

  • When you click the back button in Internet Explorer, I went back to the same page, I am already on. Problem seen in Google search engine.

    Problem seen in Google search engine.

    I used Google for years without problems - I work from home as a freelance journalist.  But this last few days, if I search for something on Google from IE and click on a result, I can get the page I want upward.  But then, if I want to go back to the same Google search page to check the other results, I can't go back by clicking on the button 'back' at the top left, as I always did.  If I click it, it just keeps returning me to the page I'm already.  I find no mention anywhere using this problem or any means to remedy.  If I have the cursor hover over the arrow bak, the address of the current page appears rather than the original Google search page, so there is obviously something wrong.

    Thank you

    Hello

    1. This only happens with Google?

    2. don't you make recent changes?

    I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

    Try to run Internet explorer mode without modules and check to see if the same problem happens:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Internet-Explorer-Add-ons-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:

    Try to optimize Internet explorer and check to see if it helps:

  • CAN Web site created using Adobe portfolio to be seen by the search engines?

    I have portfolio Adobe plan to photograph my Adobe, but could not locate the site I created using Google .  CAN Web site created using Adobe portfolio be seen by search engines?

    I posted this question here, because I have received no response on the sections creative cloud or Adobe Portfolio of this Web site.  Please do not move.

    When you create a Web site, you must wait while it can spread through the internet. It will be accessible using the url.

    Regarding the Google search, they have an article on how to make it easier to be found by their bot. For example, you add a small file to your website, then submit to Google, this is the place for the bot to find. This file then gives the url for each Web page and other data which may be relevant for display in the search page.

    This process will speed up how long it takes to be on the search page, but is not necessary. If a link to your site is another site, the bot will find and crawl your site later.

    However, if Google finds your link on several other sites he could assume it's spam and block it. So be very careful how often your site appears on other sites and check that he is allowed to do on this site. Some allow, some don't, and some are ok with it if it is relevant to their site.

  • Adobe Flash 18 ruined my search engines... I'm surprised that I could post this.

    Since I "got the new update of Adobe", all my search engines are slower than ever. My games work perfectly (thanks for that) but when I try to go on Facebook, nothing loads (images and others) and it runs slower than anything on Internet Explorer. I don't want to blame the update, but everything worked fine until I updated yesterday... Help out me?

    It's alright, I fixed it!

    I just installed Java and uninstalled Adobe!
