Adobe PhotoDeLuxe 2.0 compatibility

I used Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 for many years.  It is one of my favorite programs and meet some of my needs like no other program can do.  Recently I used it with great success with the Version of Windows XP Professional.  However, because of computer malfunctions with my computer Dell Vestro 200, I decided to buy a new computer.  I just bought a Dell Inspiron 560 computer, which uses the Version of Windows 7 Professional, and although all of my old favorite programs installed and seem to be working, my copy of PhotoDeluxe 2.0 will not be installed.

Both of my projects depend on the interaction of Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 with Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.  He really stop me in my tracks if I remove PhotoDeluxe 2.0.  Paint Shop Pro 7 installs without problems on my new computer.  Why can I not install PhotoDeluxe 2.0?

I spent on the Adobe site, but had problems finding an email address.  I am 82 years old and cannot understand what is said to me on a phone, so I can't call them.  I finally found an email address UK for them, but they have not answered me.

I just want to use my computer PhotoDeluxe 2.0 with my new program.  I do not know this should be possible. Someone please tell me how can I get the installation program.

Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 was made by and supported by Adobe.  If Adobe does not support this product in a given operating system, that is their prerogative, and there is not that you can do as a customer.  It is not the manufacturer of the operating systems that make their products compatible with millions and millions of hardware and software out there, but the manufacturers of hardware and software that make their products compatible with the relative handful of operating systems that exist - if they want to.

Technically, they have a phone support option, but I doubt that your product is compatible with.... :-)  Why I not say that?

However, if you want to give it a shot (and presumably he has to get a new product...):

Call Adobe at 800-833-6687.  To avoid waiting on hold, ask a reminder the first available agent.  You can also set a reminder for a more convenient time.

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

  1. Right-click on the setup of the program
  2. Click on properties
  3. Click on the Compatibility tab
  4. Select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP or another operating system, the program has been run successfully forward.
  5. OK your way out of that.
  6. Now, try to install it.

After installation, you may need to change the shortcut, he created the same way you did the installation executable so that it works as if it was installed on an older system...

If this does not work - you may need to use Windows XP Mode.  This may be your best option because you have Windows 7 Professional.

    PhotoDeluxe is an older Adobe software that was abandoned many years ago (around 2002). It has been designed for older operating systems, and is no longer supported.  Many users PhotoDeluxe now use Photoshop Elements to their photo editing.

    I've always used Adobe Deluxe, but today I changed my PC and installed Windows 10

    It seemed that there is no possibility of installation PhotoDeluxe more?

    I bought Photoshop now but I can´t do the same things I could do with Deluxe.

    I use Presenter to create training modules where I work.  Can I publish the module, but when the user tries to launch it - they get a blank screen.  I have shown that staff need to return to compatibility mode and display modules.  Is it possible that this can be done without having to do this staff?  With 1100 employees, this can be problematic.  Help, please.

    I don't know this particular subject, but I've had the opposite happen, where videos were not appear in compatibility view.  The same result of the white screen was going well.

    I added the following line to the index.htm file in thesection and it worked after that:

    If you have the CD, you can try to install it.  If this isn't the case, then you will have to search around to download.  The bottom line will probably turn out to be that PhotoDeluxe 3 will not be able to run on a Windows 7 computer.  Browsing the web it seems that this will not work with Vista either.
