  Have you tried running it in compatibility mode (pretending to be XP for example) or even installation in compatibility mode as well? Also once compatibility is set, if it still does not work try by checking the "run as Administrator" as well.

  But also, what version of windows you are running W7 32-bit or 64-bit? Maybe it's that it is possible to run 32-bit and that you have 64-bit (guess).

• Need Adobe XI. DC does not work with the plugins I use.

  I'm on a Mac and I need Acrobat XI as DC does not work with the plugins that I use at work. We have a subscription to the CC. I downloaded the software XI from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html but it asks for a serial number. I followed the steps on this page about what to do if you have a subscription, but this brings me to a page that asks you a redemption code to activate my subscription.   Update: I spent 2 days looking how to get this resolved. Of course, 5 minutes after I ask this question, it happens to me on this: https://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/creative-cloud/kb/acrobat-dc-uninstalls-acrobat-11 .html , that solved my problem and my installation began through the application of CC desktop, rather than a separately downloaded .dmg file as before. Note: After clicking on the button 'Download Adobe Pro XI', next steps called "Adobe DC", but the end result is an installation Pro XI.

  Need you minimum Photoshop CS6 & Camera Raw version 8.3 use of Nikon 610 RAW files.

  However, if you cannot upgrade to Adobe Photoshop CS6, then you can use the DNG Converter to convert your images to DNG and use it with Photoshop CS5

  What are your settings of GPU acceleration?  As I understand it, the Alt right click size and hardness adjust needs acceleration GPU to be turned on, but I have a feeling Brush hardness is always set to easy when using fluidity.  You can still see the quick mask as representation of the soft brush when Alt right click, but you can't change the hardness.

  Is that you can change the brush size and pressure (framed in red in my screenshot) Alt right click drag left and right changes size and down to pressure changes, and you can see what is happening in real-time by looking at the sign on the right.  It works independently of your acceleration GPU (IME) settings, but you don't get the effect of soft red quick mask.

  

  Does this fit with what you see, or you are not able to change things at all?  If not, then I've always found that fluidity consumes system resources, if you could check the Task Manager > Performance tab to see what kind of RAM and CPU use is using the fluidity.  That's what I see after direction the lens above with a big brush continuously for 10 seconds.  Note This is on a fairly quick NLE System.
