  It is not the phone, which is usually the problem, it is the codec the phone registers with it and then the file structure of the memory of the phone card that determine if FCPX can watch films from the phone.   They tend to cards list itself more, as they did... so they list the requirements for cards that work with the programs. Who are a minimum of 1 GB of vRAM and a few other things.
