  • Installation of Adobe Reader 2015 DC problem

Natives.PNGI'm trying to distribute Adobe Reader 2015 DC to my network through SCCM computers.

I get an error. I check the error and after some digging around, I found that the Setup program fails when trying to copy the file natives_blob.bin. I looked for this file and I can not locate it on any of the files I downloaded. Do you know how and where I can find it? Or does anyone have a work around for this?

Either way, I tried to install the product manually and it gives the same error.

  • Adobe Reader is causing problems in Windows 7

    Hello all,.

I was doing some research on this one and have so far no joy. We deploy Windows 7 in our office and I am a user and the only person who has problems.

They had installed Adobe Reader X and they started to have problems with it after what they have been upgraded to WINDOWS 7. When they went to print a PDF file, it began to block their PC for 3-5 minutes, after which they were able to continue their work.

This behavior is internmittent because it does not occur with every PDF and usually only happens once a day. Sometimes it's the first PDF of the day, sometimes in the middle of the day, but once he arrives, to happen again in the same day. Sometimes the user knows no problem for several days. We have succumbed in the determination of any motive or any individual in which this machine users is respectful of the different environment of any other machine users.

No other users are facing this problem.

The user has a laptop and he closes down to make the House every evening and opens the fees to the office every day.

Lately, this behavior has expanded when the user has just to open a PDF file. Their laptop will freeze for 3-5 minutes, and then they can continue their work.

Based on a very few articles, we have found on the subject, we have tried a number of things without success:

    • We tried to empty the cache memory of Adobe Reader
    • We have uninstalled Reader X and replaced it with Reader 9 x

We are hoping that someone out there who has seen anything like this before and can suggest some environmental or proceedural thing that missed us. It makes us mad.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Adobe Reader plug-in for Safari can't find Adobe Reader

I keep Reader.app Adobe in Applications/Local-A/PDF Software.  When I try to open a PDF file in Safari (5.0.3), the plug-in cannot find the drive.  I have so that it points there everytime I open Safari.  I would have thought he would know where to find the first time, but it doesn't.  How I definitely tell the plugin where to look?

    Hello

Default installation of the Adobe Reader X plugin browser checked to install a package. No have you customized your installation, and unchecked this option that indicates you do not want to install the browser plug-in. Another possibility would be that you are using Reader 9 both Reader installed in your system and after Reader X X, you have successfully updated Reader 9 assuming the Update 9.4.0 in 9.4.1. This will change the plug-in version to 9.4.1 (last updated).

A way to have the X version is re-run the installer of Player X and it will repair your plug-in version 10.0.0. As an advisor do not use Reader 9 and Reader X in the same system (even if possible). You can simply delete the request of version 9 and continue to work with Reader X installed.

Second, to answer your question that only Safari constantly asking to choose the Reader app, that you can do is open com.adobe.acrobat.pdfviewer.plist in Preferences in any viewer plist. He must have a key - WebBrowserUsePath. It should point to correct the application reader on your system. Normally, its value is something like - file://localhost/Applications/Adobe%20Reader.app/

In your case, you moved Adobe Reader.app for Adobe-Software/Applications/Local-A/PDF Reader.app

Change the value of this key to point to a correct application. Here, it should be - file://localhost/Applications/Local-A/PDF%20Software/Adobe%20Reader.app/

This will ensure that Safari will not prompt again.

    Thank you

  • I bought a PC with Windows 7 and since I've now upgraded to 10 Windows some of my system requirements have changed as I'm not sure which of the versions to choose to download to upgrade my software Adobe Reader plug in.  The first star is the drive

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I need to update my card in Adobe Reader, including, since my upgrade, some of my system requirements have changed but I'm not very familiar with these two versions of the Adobe Reader software gave me.  They are English (1) 2015.008.20082 for Windows CD player and 2-Player 11.0.10 English for Windows.  I would be very grateful if I could receive some tips which versions are the most compatible with my PC.  Thank you very much.

Both versions are also compatible with Windows 10.

  • (Problem with the arrows) Adobe Reader is not working properly

I have problem with the Adobe Reader plug-in. When I have a tab open with the pdf file, my arrows do not work in other tabs in firefox, only in this tab where it is the open pdf file. Also, I noticed that when you try to use the arrows in the other cards, they are working on a pdf file.

I am tempted to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader, but it does not work. Help, please.

I solved the problem reinstalling Firefox, because when I turned off Macromedia my pdf file still worked, but the arrows didn't always work. I think it was a problem with the plugin from adobe.

  • DEP won't allow Adobe reader to run?

I had this problem several times. My computer was fine to open any PDF file, and I don't know since when it prevented me to open any PDF file. :( What actually happened is when whenever I tried to open a PDF file and windows just automatically close adobe reader and say that there is a problem with adobe reader. So all of this just stopped himself! Windows said it was DEP prevents viruses and bad things to the computer and so and so... I tried to reset the DEP option on my computer, but it says that you can not turn off DEP for this program (adobe reader software). Very well, very well. So I downloaded the latest version of adobe reader and the problem was solved in part. By part I meant that I can open only PDFs that have already registered on my computer, but not the web browser.  I then went to the Web site of firefox (the browser I normally use) for help and it fixed the problem. However... today, I turned on my computer and tried to open a PDF file on the web broswer, everything was back to where it was! What the hell is happening? I can't open any PDF file with adobe reader, and I need to open the files of sugar! PLEASE HELP ME! Thank you. : D

  • Adobe Reader DC

Well, I'm sitting here being embarrassed and angry. I went in Firefox tools to check obsolete Add-ons and I saw that he had to update Adobe Reader plug-in. Stupidly, I just went through with the update of FF and ended with Adobe Reader DC. Does anyone else here have this version on their computer? He eventually remove my old version of Adobe Reader.

I did go to security settings and make sure that he was not 'anonymous' call home with my usage patterns. Would you recommend that I have uninstall and go back to the old plain Adobe Reader?

I really hate being so stupid after all these years to be so careful about the so-called updates!

Thanks for any info or make recommendations.

    Mary

I can confirm that using FF, by going to tools / modules / Plugins / check to see if it is up-to-date.

I am indeed was advised that the Adobe Reader PDF plug-in for Firefox and Netscape, version 11.0.11.18, is "out of date" - Despite this version which was installed just a week ago (May 12).

So there is no need to be embarrassed... you have nothing wrong nor dangerous here.   Best I can tell, it seems that DC is the 'new' version of the player... but I hope that others will be able to confirm this.

    ----------------------------

Look further on the Adobe site, I don't see the old / 'standard' offered here drive any where... they even offer a "MUI" (multi-Language) version 11.0, here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5507

that must immediately be updated to 11.0.11 http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5909

My PC operating system is Win XP (SP3).

I have been using Adobe Reader 11 without problems.  Recently, he would not open the pdf files. So I decided to uninstall it and install a new download.

Unfortunately, I uninstalled package of the Adobe package by mistake. (What a *!)

Then when I tried to uninstall Adobe Reader, the following message appeared "the package of the package could not be opened. Verify that the package of the package exists and that you can access.

So, I then tried to install Adobe Reader 11 defective on the existing. However, I then the message "Adobe Reader is already installed" and the installation will not proceed any further.

I'm stuck between the hammer and the anvil.  What can I do now?

(Of course, I tried the system restore, but this feature does not work.  How frustrating!)

  • Adobe Reader does move not in firefox

I'm on OS 10.6.8 using firefox 16.0.2 and I get messages that I need adobe reader to print shipping labels or go to some sites. No problem with chrome or safari. Can anyone help with this? Is it a question of mac or firefox? Software Adobe reader 11004, same problem with the previous version.

I have until now uninstalled and reinstalled the drive several times.

You must use Firefox 24 (Yes, twenty-four) and NOT 16 if you want to use the plugin Player 11. It is the root of your problem. Then, check the addons Cmd + Shift + A to see the NPAPI plugin is current and active.

THEN, you should DISABLE the Firefox PDFJS Viewer which is set by default to open PDF files.

    Instructions are here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1261037

  • When I open a document in Firefox with Adobe Reader 9, I can't print (no problem if you use Internet Explorer)

I am running Windows 7 (64-bit), using Firefox 8.0. When I open a document with Adobe Reader 9, I am unable to be with her (printing, recording, etc.) another what to see. When I use Internet Explorer I don't have this problem.

The plug-in may not work well in Firefox because you are using an older version of Adobe Reader.

Please note that there is currently a security breach uncorrected in Adobe Reader that is actively exploited by criminals.

         https://secunia.com/advisories/47133

The current version of Adobe Reader (unpatched) is:

         Adobe Reader X (10.1.1)

    As an alternative, consider using

You need to uninstall Adobe Reader unpatched software and install one of the PDF readers alternatives to its place as long as product Adobe is fixed, although you may find you like other products all also, or more.
