  When I print labels eBay via Firefox, a .dll file is downloaded. This used to automatically open in Adobe Reader, but now it opens as a text document in TextEdit, so I have to manually open Adobe Reader, change the options to display "all files", then find the .dll file and open it.

  When I try to change the default application in the preferences of Firefox, I can't find anything with the content type "dll".

  Is there a way to have Firefox automatically opens files .dll with Adobe Reader?

  Sorry for the delay, but yes, just stop Firefox so that the mimeTypes.rdf file is released.

• In Firefox using the top menu, for example in Google images, videos, map, etc., of a web page are not activated with the mouse. This does not happen when you use Internet Explorer, because all links are available.

  I have used Firefox for years. I bought a new Dell laptop 3 weeks ago, came with Internet Explorer. Later, I downloaded FF 6.0.1 that I prefer. After a few days of normal use, the Yahoo mail page newspaper came in lower-case letters and images unreadable. I went to the Firefox Options, once again the Options, then content. All fonts have been at least 14. I unchecked the option to leave the web sites chose their own fonts but always get tiny sign in page. When I copy and past the Yahoo mail URL in Internet explorer, the Yahoo login page is normal in size. I uninstalled FF 6.0.1 and downloaded FF 7.0.1 but who gave the same microscopic text.   Ping works successfully for any Address.ex IP: 192.168.1.1 & google.com & any other website

  -cleaning of all viruses (via ESET)

  -using the LAN cable

  -Captive connectivity via my phone (with or without USB cable)

  -disable antivirus

  -Start windows in diagnostic startup mode!

  -disable certain features or services

  -VMvare (she even is not run just give me an error and close)

  -using the windows key repair via the Installation of Win7 disc (he says run in windows and when I tried it gave an error that I don't remember what it was exactly, but I think it was said cannot get information on my disks!)

• When you use Internet Explorer 8, I get an error window saying that it encountered an error and needs to close.

  I am running XP with SP2 and downloaded IE8 yesterday.  I searched the support pages and found the following information in my system.  Under "Internet settings" files named "iecont.dll' and 'iecontlc.dll' are reported missing in the part of 'Version '.  I deleted and downloaded IE8 again but keep on getting the must stop error and the files are still missing.   It doesn't matter what page I go or he'll just seems to happen to be without any type of usage sepecific or the used Web site.
