  Just to clarify: you cannot turn pages with Acrobat Reader permanently but temporarily, you can rotate the view: on the file menu, click view | Rotate the view | Clockwise or counterclockwise.

  Please try to run the cleanup tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of the reader.

  Then, restart your machine and install the Acrobat Reader XI & X from here:

  Who did is not supported on Mac. Chrome uses its own pdf reader. Try another browser or right click and save the PDF on your computer and open it since in Adobe Reader.

  If I'm worried about which version of Adobe Reader, a user has then I know I can set up a saying of message box "you must be in XX version" or something like that.  Anyone know if there is a way to actually check the version that a user runs and put a message indicating it is obsolete and should be updated?
