• Adobe Typekit Fonts not usable

  My adobe typekit fonts will not sync to my CC applications such as Illustrator and I am unable to change.  Menu fonts in the CC desktop application does not load and won't turn on / turn off sync fonts.  However, they appear actually as synchronized in my creative cloud account in my browser under policies synchronized.

  Adobe muse with adobe typekit is kick my butt. I have read all the problems of elses and obtained with the customer and so far I don't have an answer on how to solve this problem. That's what I've done so far.

  I'm sorry you troubles here. Currently, you can only use and preview the free and open-source Typekit fonts in Muse.

  If you are uncomfortable with a bit of HTML/CSS, the Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit include the code of the interface of Muse:

  Or you can add the embed code to the Properties dialog box of the Page within the Muse, which will include in theof the page when you export your Web site.

  However, we do see the value of being able to design in Muse with all fonts in your Typekit library. We are currently working on a deeper integration of the two to make this easier.

• Adobe typekit javascript added in html, but the fonts are not loading/display on browser

  I have a set of fonts selected in adobe typekit, after that I used the code embedded in the html file, I still don't see the fonts displayed/shown in the browser. That's the fluidlayout working on a website using dremweaver.

  The "boilerplate.css" has his own fonts mentioned, but this has got something to do with the fonts using adobe typekit?

  To see a preview of the Typekit fonts locally, you should use a local test such as wamp, xampp or mamp server and configure it in your DW site definition.  See screenshot.

  Policies are managed by your operating system. Use the control panel of the system on Windows or the Fontbook on Mac utility.

  Hi Rodrigo,

  Police & file sync is still implemented to all users. Many accounts were automatically in the white list during the summer, which could explain why your friend there already.  Your account cannot be added again because you recently joined creative cloud.

  The team is adding new users all the time, however, so you should not wait longer, now that you have signed.

  I had this problem on a Mac and a Windows PC.

  I opened an InDesign document that had two or three fonts installed TypeKit. InDesign reported me that fonts were 'missing' and even when I recheck the fonts in question, that it is not synchronized. When I display the fonts in the application manager, they appeared all the same, not as they did to the police they have the title.

  I cannot see a workaround, since it is a major issue as well of our graphic style is based on TypeKit fonts, we used!

  First of all, it's normal: all the fonts that you have synchronized are displayed in a default font tab fonts of creative cloud desktop application. Here is an example of what we expect the list of fonts to look like:

  Looks like InDesign can be impossible to get the Typekit subscription on your account information to use and synchronize policies. Would you please also try to connect on InDesign in the Help menu and then reconnect? This will begin a new session ID Adobe InDesign and should solve any problems with the connection to your Typekit account:

  1) click on the Help menu of InDesign and choose Sign Out

  (2) restart InDesign

  3) click on the Help menu of InDesign and Sign In

  If this does not resolve the problem, please send us an email at [email protected] with some of the synchronization of your computer logs, and we will examine this further.  Here are instructions on where to find the log files:

  You can find the application creative Cloud in the folder 'Application' on your Mac.

  To enable or disable the Sync fonts please follow the steps - below

  1. in the creative cloud desktop application, choose > preferences > creative cloud.

  2 - Click on fonts.

  3-to enable or disable the synchronization of the police, select either on or off in the settings Typekit on / off.

  We are working on a site of prototype using AWS Elastic Beanstalk and try to use typekit font Adobe on this.  I recorded the EB URL with the typekit, I registered. The police works well for about an hour, then disappears. TypeKit block elastic Beanstalk URL to use fonts? The actual URL is FGL CALCULATOR TESTS. I registered the URL ""fglcalculatorwebser - env.elasticbeanstalk.com ' in the typekit. " I did something wrong?

• Problems with Adobe Typekit

  I try to get the Typekit fonts to work in browsers and I am having difficulties. I am using Trajan Pro 3 on a site and fonts are not rendered correctly in Chrome and Firefox on PC. The reason why I use Typekit is to solve this problem without the help of Google.

  So far, I'm not impressed by the Editor interface Typekit or methodology, but this side, it doesn't seem to work. The site in question is here:

  This is a sample site that I want to live in a few days and I can not get the police to render properly in Chrome and FF on the PC, but it seems to work everywhere else.

  I apologise for not go deeper in my response: this was intended to demonstrate that the font files work correctly. Here is the screen shot of Chrome on Windows 7, for your comparison:

  If the police don't always care for you, it would be useful that you would provide a page that uses Trajan Pro 3 by default so that the team of Typekit can more easily debug the display problem.

  Unrelated to loading problems, you will probably see artifacts of rendering in Trajan Pro 3 to 14px.  Typekit is used for Trajan Pro with described PostScript 3 smooth rendered large sizes on Windows, as explained in this blog post:

  Although many designers use Trajan at smaller sizes, it is not designed to be used in this way. If you look at the samples of browser for Trajan Pro 3, the problems of rendering in the windows below about 30px there: https://typekit.com/fonts/trajan-pro-3#browser-samples

  You can try something like Minion instead. See the example (with code) in that same blog.

  Or, if Minion Pro is not to your liking, there similar serifs in the library that are recommended for use of paragraph:

  I'm sorry that you trouble with that. Currently, the Typekit logo is included in the window of the missing fonts in Illustrator even if you sync disabled on the application cloud creative fonts.  It is not a way to remove this window Typekit logo; It will be displayed whenever an Illustrator looking for missing fonts in your document.

  We are working to improve this in the future, so that the logo appears only if you use the library of Typekit fonts. I apologize for any confusion that this caused and please let me know if you have any other questions.

  Typekit fonts have a special permit. They cannot be packed or sent to the client.

  The only options are: (1) the customer gets a CC license that allows to use Typekit fonts, (2) the client gets a license to use Typekit fonts on Typekit site; (3) provide you the customer with a non-editable PDF where Typekit fonts is incorporated.

  Those are the only options.
