• HTML5 for ads - problems

  Hello guys!

  There is more and more voices on the web saying that Flash will become obsolete in the future - and now Chrome is paused flash ads it says (which can result in agencies to move to html5 together for best results of ads). As a guy who does flash campaigns for a living for more than 7 years, I wonder what that means for me. I tried to convert or start banners scratching in HTML5 canvas in Flash Proffesional CC but at the beginning, I have encountered problems:

  1 no custom system fonts seems not published - text is shown as default system font and is published as such. This means that, to make the banners in HTML5, a need to know code well HTML5 and code insetad of the things of which in fact in the same way Flash Pro, he did all the time? (I have found topics on this forum that you can use the rule of @font-face, but where exactly you add this code in Flash Pro? And why can't the ddo software it himself? "And why it can't handle the different colors of pieces of particular text?)

  2. codes of bread-and-butter-for-ads AS simple as "stop();", "gotoAndPlay", "geturl" etc are not converted - what are the substitutes in html5 canvas file? -I guess to learn HTML? (shit, what of those who do not have a mathematical brain for programming?)

  3. used HTML5 banners look different on every browser/operating system?

  Would be great if someone would make a nice guide to find out how to go from Flash to HTML5 ads ads manufacturing using Flash Pro - or basically this whole software will become obsolete?

  Should I start learning different trade? :/

  Or its just artificial movement and Flash are never obsolete and superior? What are your thoughts?

  Yes, it is useful to learn html5/javascript/jquery, css.  (and for the text, you can also create a bitmap of the text and use it.)

  This.Stop (), this.gotoAndPlay (), window.open().  read the createjs of the api from easeljs.

  No, just charge more for html5 and make sure you get a list of browsers/versions that they want to use for the test.  charge for each other because each of them may require slightly different coding.

  HTML, integrated SWF can become obsolete but flash pro seems to deftly transition.

• The underlined words on my blog that links to the ads. disobeys in Explorer. It is not a problem with my blog master - only on Firefox.

  When I opened my blog articles using Firefox, words are underlined and linked to the ads. When I use Explorer, the words are not underlined and no ads appear. Already checked with my blog master because I paid the extra to have no advertising. Apparently it is from your program. What can we do to get rid of this or what I need to change to another browser?   This does not happen for me. It could be the work of a bad extension, try to run in safe mode and see if it still load up ads on your blog.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

• Problem: Ads being blocked on one site

  Nothing that I don't seem to allow other https:\\gameknot.comads. I have whitelisted this site in Adblock Plus, which is my only ad blocking utility and whitelisting other sites seems to allow ads properly. Then I disabled Adblock Plus completely without success. I seem to be able to see all the ads on the site when I connect using Chrome. Thus, it seems that Adblock plus could not be the problem.

  All advice is appreciated.

  It seems that this is not a Firefox problem after all. Occasionally in FF, I see Flash and I just noticed that Chrome is also display ads of the erratic site.

• ADS Instant HDTV PCI problem

  I'm trying to connect my PC to our TV using an HDMI cable and I have a problem to do so. First of all, when I plugged in the cable and turned on the computer I thought that it works because the TV shows the ACER logo when starting and in harmony with my computer screen, but it stops and says NOT to SIGNAL on television but on my computer screen, it continues to load in the main window. The thing NO SIGNAL appears just until I get my password for the connection. Then, when I go to Manager of devices under sound, video and game controllers the ADS Instant HDTV PCI point of yellow exclamation next to it. I tried to update the driver, but still it does not work.  I went on the site of ADS and checked for drivers and found this post on the Vista drivers - ADS Tech does not directly distribute Windows Vista drivers for this device. This is because the drivers were developed by Microsoft and Philips. The drivers for this card HDTV are built right into the Windows Vista operating system. Physically, in Windows Vista, x 86 and x 64, you must install the card. The operating system automatically installs its own driver when new hardware is detected.
  I hope you can help me with that. Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

  In the survey on this issue, it seems that the drivers should be included in Vista. Since initially, you see the splash screen on your TV, is not a wiring problem. What you might try is to connect to your computer and get your desktop. Then do one of the following elements

  1. set the resolution on your pc down (i.e. 1280 x 1024 to 1024 x 768) and see if the image on your TV.

  OR

  2. check the TV for any manual setting to the highest possible resolution (1080i or 760i)

  During the startup, your computer is in a lower resolution screen setting. Once you sign in, your screen adapts to a higher setting. Seems like when you lose your timing between the computer and television.

• ADS Instant HDTV PCI has a driver problem. Its used to play through the speakers of HDTV. Now he doesn't.

  I have a Sony VAIO laptop that I have previously connected to a TV high definition using the HDMI cable with success (sound and video broadcast by the TV).

• Page ads TitanTV affects NOW my Firefox. I usually go there - several tabs - without any problems at all. Now - suspended. Flash crash, etc... What comes to change?

I've come to Firefox, since it managed this use much, much better than any version of Internet Explore. Running multiple tabs from the list television future, made sense and was very convenient...   (1) can you try to start Firefox in Mode safe to see if Firefox works correctly without error? You can start Firefox in Mode safe below:

  • Windows/Mac: choose Help > restart with disabled modules
  • Linux: run firefox-safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole

  If Firefox opens fine with no problems, it is probably one of your extensions that is causing the problem. You can reactivate your modules one by one until you find the one that is causing the problem to be re-activated.

  Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

  To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

  1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
  2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
  3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
