AdvancedDataGridColumn has some cells editable and some not

I use an advanced data grid. (In fact, I built an ActionScript class that extends from AdvancedDataGrid). Some columns are editable, using colum.itemEditor = new ClassFactory (TextInput).

I would like for some of the cells in the column to be editable and some not editable, depending on the underlying data being displayed in the line. For example, "If"xxx"Column2 = Column1 is not editable.
Also, I would like the column is editable if the cell is in a row of grouping.

I'm new to Flex and don't know how to begin to address this problem. Is there easy (or not so easy way) in ActionScript to control a single cell in a column, based on the underlying data?

Tracy, who has been a great help. I've set up a handler for ITEM_EDIT_BEGINNING.
Unfortunately, I had some problems to work around. I use an AdvancedDataGrid, not a DataGrid control. In this case the Manager, the selectedItem property is null and the selectedData was an untyped object that had no content whatsoever, so I had to go on a hunt to find out which line of my XML was chosen. Since it is an AdvancedDataGrid and I used the pool, I couldn't watch the row index because the lines of the group prevent an easy mapping of the row index in the XML data.

I was finally able to find the selected data using the converter of element: event.itemRenderer.data.
Problem is solved.
I wonder if this is a bug that selectedItem and selectedData were unnecessary, or if for any reason any intended functionality.

    I just met my first problems with my SA40-702. I got it about 2 years and everything was fine.

    As far as windows goes all start attempts including safe mode etc do not work. They just plant rather then wait eternally for restart.
