  My grandmother upgreded his compurer of windows7 for Windows 10 without knowing what she was doing. Now the printer does not, among other things. It has been over 30 days since then, therefore Microsoft does not allow a downgrade easy. I tried to do a system restore, but the only thing that has happened, is that it is now like a new computer with Windows 10. How to bring back windows7? She don't have no recovery disks.

  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but some discouraging facts about Win10 rollback:

  (1) it works for 30 days because after that, Windows Update (which now works automatically in Win10) is SUPPOSED to delete the files to restore to the previous operating system.

  (2) even if the files are not removed, the Win10 GoBack function is known to be unreliable and could leave machines in a State corrupted, where they are rendered useless.

  What does not work, when the GoBack function does not work, use HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

  Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update".  If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB.   Since the download of windows 7 Windows vista, I have no HP Media Center.  It appears in the photos, but I don't have access to or to reconfigure settings.   I could download lightscribe again troubleshooting, but I also had window platform of microsoft on this computer work, (such as word), as it came with it on the computer when I bought it.   Please help, I have not had this since Vista crashed and I bought the version of windows 7.  So I think what he mainly only HP software problems, and I would like to have the word back.

  MS Works is no longer supported by Microsoft. Microsoft Works Plus (Works 9.0) was for Vista and only available for OEMS built (your picture of the HP software that came with Vista). Windows 7 still comes with Wordpad, if you're looking for word processing. If you want more than one suite, you will probably need to roll up your sleeves and install a new - either for free or one you buy.

  One of the best free versions is Open office .

  Microsoft Office is one of the most popular office of course suites.

  There are several others that you need to do a little research and talking to friends, namely one might be the best for what you want to do.

  I upgraded my PC to Windows 7, but I don't know if all the drivers for the motherboard, especially the audio drivers are included in the installation of Windows 7.  With Windows XP, there is an audio program that identified the plugs at the front and the back of the PC and there is a facility to test the speakers and the microphone. • ITunes skipping after upgrade to clean boot of Windows 7 64 bit HP Pavilion m9500y

  I recently updated my m9500y to vista 64-bit home premium to windows 7 Professional via an upgrade to boot. Since the update iTunes ignores intermittently. Can I close iTunes and reopen it and it will play OK no problem jumping. Sometimes it takes to open and close the program several times before that it will play correctly no problem jumping.

  I won't have the same problem with Windows Media Player as I've seen in other posts on this and other forums for the problem of Itunes jump.

  I completely uninstalled iTunes such as recommended by HP before you perform the upgrade to windows 7 and I have all the HP windows 7 and the Microsoft updates, including the drivers and firmware.

  I even tried to uninstall completely the 9.2.1 64-bit version of itunes, including registry keys and installed the previous version of Vista 64 bit which worked perfectly before the upgrade. However, I still had the same problem.

  Just in case my driver realtek HD audio version 6.0.1.5910. I do music professionally and HP Smart Media and Windows Media Player simply do not cut it. I have my iTunes works properly all the time.

  This is the only problem that I have. Everything else works perfectly.

  I did the same windows 7 Professional upgrade exactly the same way on my Inspiron 1545 Dell 64 bit machine and I do not have the itunes problem to jump on this machine. I hope someone has a solution.

  I think, with all posts on this problem on this and other boards of the HP HP machines he owes to its clients to have their engineers and programmers reach a solution. I spent at least 50 hours on the problem.

  Thanks for the suggestions, however, neither worked. However, all is not lost. I finally found the solution and cause, and the problem is solved. It turns out that some third-party modules were cause of conflict with itunes. I found this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2292?viewlocale=en_US to Apple support.

  I give detailed instructions on the way which we MSCONFIG to solve conflicts in Windows Vista and 7, which could be the cause of problems with iTunes. After change startup programs and services, then by adding them one at a time after restarting whenever I finally was able to hide the indentify the third specific add on that was originally my itunes jump like a needle to jump on a vinyl record when the weight of the pick-up arm is set to lowest.

  In my case, it's a tool bar add-on in my Explorer window.

  I also checked the other this fix from Apple and would suggest that anyone having a problem with itunes to jump or other problems itunes with Windows 7 to do both. One of the link above and this one: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1362

  So, the bottom line is the problem of: Itunes to jump after Windows 7 64 bit clean upgrade HP Pavilion m9500y, boot IS NOW RESOLVED.

  Although the office comes with Vista 32 bit and I have upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit, the processor is 64-bit, so I have three questions:

  Thanks to all those that can help you - the next step is to upgrade the HARD drive for one 240 GB SSD (an another HP/Kingston class upgrade), but I want to get this sorted out first.

  Put in the extra memory for 32-bit OS wouldn't give you much of a performance increase.

  You could install an OS 64 bit Windows 7 on the computer, but drivers can be a challenge that HP has no Win 7 drivers.  Drivers of this thread look like your system can work.  If this isn't the case, we can help you.

  With a Windows 7 64 bit installed you would be able to upgrade your memory up to 8 GB.

  Yes, Windows 7 will be a free upgrade for Windows 10, find out if it will work on your system may not be 100% sure.  I've seen newer computers not being not able to run win 10 Tech Preview and still some elders will be.  Only a Microsoft Upgrade Advisor will tell you, but it is not yet available.  For now see the minimum requirements to win 10.
