  Promote the selection into a new layer (Ctrl or Cmd + J to copy; CTRL or Cmd + Shift + J to cut), then try to apply the layer style.

• Problems with Windows7 Aero desktop effects

  I recently installed O2 mobile broadband (in Ireland). Since I installed the program, if the program runs Windows Aero features do not work correctly. Aero snap etc still works, but when windows dragging them to disappear are represented by a wire frame. Similarly, when using Aero snap the transparency of the windows is no longer happens, once again just a dull picture of the window. If I close the program broadband O2 that is is no longer the case.   Method 1.
  If your computer has some problems running the Aero visual experience, which includes effects such as transparency, try to use the Aero Troubleshooter to fix the problem.   It is possible that this program is the cause of the conflict and does not block only not this part of the aero feature. Maybe also, this program is not compatible with Windows 7, or it the aero features. Check the properties of this program and find if there is an option to disable the functions of theme.

  a. navigate to the folder program files in the system drive and the search for this program and right click on the .exe program file, and then click Properties.
  b. check if there is no option to disable the theme and its effects.

• desktop to go - not suitable for my use of HP Mini 1000 Mi

  Not tapping on my Asus 901 Hardy Heron no xp. My Mini 1000 Mi arrived an hour ago. Update Manager is running. I put e-mail and installed Firefox Add-ons that I prefer. By doing these simple tasks, I noticed that the MIE Office will seriously interfere with my use of the Mini 1000 Mi. I want to use a desktop Ubuntu Hardy Heron based due to how they place on my desk, programs and files, I use every day. However, MIE office moves from one to the other more difficult for me, more laborious. I'm probably as a user may be that HP designers had in mind when you profile the customer waited. Anyway, before you start using my Mini for tasks related to work, so before entering crucial data installed, I'll try to find my way to a more traditional Ubuntu desktop. I searched this compartment of the forums and didn't find a similar lament. My hunch is that other users of Mini 1000 Mi (Ubuntu) want to escape at the interface of the BREAD, then perhaps that HP will soon offer a non-MIE as a standard option interface. Meanwhile, my research to find out how to have a traditional Ubuntu desktop should start. Suggestions of appropriate links would be appreciated.

  A USB key loaded with wiped the HP "Ubuntu" Hardy Heron and Hardy Heron 8.04 has been installed. Initially, wifi is not working, so I connected via ethernet, which worked well. Then update ~ 250 packages have been downloaded and installed. WiFi still did not work, so Admin > system > network leads to tweaking of WPA and a hexagon of 64-bit something or other. Also, the sound works by the speaker and via the combined. Overall, do these tasks took about 4 hours.

  4. In the search box, type mouse to make the mouse easier to use

  I have a Qosmio F50 - 10K and I installed Vista ultimate x 64 and the Tempro application does not work. After I installed, I left the start Tempro button checked and when I press finish it gives me this error:
  "internal error 2753.
  Toshiba.UI.controlpanelapplication.exe ".

  Same thing happens when I uncheck the box with start tempro.

  In both cases, nothing is left in the system, no files, no regstry, nothing.

  I searched on the Toshiba driver download page and I discovered, Tempro is available for Vista 32 bit and not 64 bit.

  I think so Tempro will not work on a 64 bit OS.

  The Aero effects worked well earlier in the day. I had to get help for problems with HP printer and I allowed them access to my computer and they deleted and reinstalled the printer files and that works fine now but the Aero effects are not.

  If it helps, try the steps and check them off below.
  1. click the Start button, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
  2. now in Device Manager, expand graphic cards, under the present, you should be able to see driver mirror.
  3. right-click on it and select Properties.
  4. in the Properties window, on the driver tab, click Uninstall.
  5. After uninstalling the drivers, restart the computer. This should install it automatically the appropriate drivers for it.

  Driver mirror are used primarily by vpn (virtual private network) / Remote Office Tools / Windows Live Mesh. Remove this driver may resolve these issues.

  Hello to you all.

  Recently, I had serious problems with a few keys. They do not react when I press on them. Oddly, enough it happened one day where everything worked perfectly. Currently a non-flexible solution (: @) is a mix of keyboard and Vista on-screen keyboard. I have spilled something on my laptop that I take great care of it. Keys not working do not are:

  I also remember the day, this problem occurred (and since then, every day when the laptop boots) in startup screen logo is continuous-interminnent beeps. Alsowhen Office appears and then press 'Start' (Windows logo) I see constantly writing in the prompt search (under "all programs") and that if I press the right arrow it wll not stop. Any ideas? I guess from a driver issue... I hope someone help...

  P.S.:strangely (with the exception of added value package) I can't update my Toshiba laptop (they all fail with an error). First, I do the update of the BIOS?

  The description of your problem doesn't quite sound as if your keyboard has developed a fault, particularly in failing the grouping of keys held. If you have access to a USB port on the keyboard I sugest you try and see if you get the same problem.

  If your A200 is still covered by warranty, then I suggest that return you it to a repairer approved for repair. If your warranty has expired so fortunately replacement keyboards are not only expemsuve and are fairly easy to replace, just try to Google for a suitable provider.

  I don't think that your problem is related to software or drivers
